A list of puns related to "Hughesy & Ed"
India is going to be the 3rd power in the world within ten years . Just like Yoga , Indian food . Both which are hugely popular in the West . Just like Bollywood which is hugely popular in the Middle East & the subcontinent . We should also invest in nature documentaries , science , education etc . Look at TED - Ed channel . It has cute animation and is also very popular . We can build one like that . It could be the first . Very high quality animation , but with Indian voice over in English . Animation is quite cheap these days if done by contractors . Also look at BBC Earth & Science . That is one of the ways the Brits expand their soft power . Look at China's Panda diplomacy . How they promote their soft power . Learn from your enemies . BBC (Not UK) & the CCP .
i am blown away from how great both OP & ED are, perfectly captures the feelings of this season
No truer words have been spoken! That friend is such a gem.
Week Thirteen. Ed Gamble, comedian on 30 Rock
Week Fourteen. James Acaster, comedian on the history of ice cream
Was anyone else thinking that he should have enjoyed his time on the boat with his mother? This woman, yes, he had hopes but she wasnβt feeling it. Youβre still in mexico with your mother- who knows how many more years you have with her. Ed, youβre going to look back on that scene and say i wish i wouldnt have been sad and gloomy on the boat, telling her you wished it was kaory on the boat rather than her. That woman is incredible and thee only one who loves you unconditionally, and is the only one rooting for you. Lol

In Lost in Language, Edric winked at Luz and Emira called her a cutie, making her blush both times, I think they were just being flirty with her but what do you think?
I'm autistic & was fully aware that EDS is fairly common among people on the spectrum. Strangers on the autism related subreddits have even suggested I might have EDS whenever I'd bring up symptoms. But when I Googled it, I saw pictures of contortionists & thought "Yeah, I can't bend like that" & immediately wrote it off. And I'm a fan of RuPaul's Drag Race, so I saw Yvie on there describing EDS & watched them doing all of these crazy moves & it just cemented the idea that I didn't have it.
But a few days ago a stranger from the aspergers sub messaged me after seeing a comment & going through my post history, encouraging me to look into EDS again. So after an annoyed groan, I did. And the more I read, the more plausible it seemed. And when I finally understood what constitutes as hypermobility, I realized that I had it, but it was only noticeable in my hands, feet, jaw, knees, & waist. I always thought it was weird that despite chronic pain & stiffness, I could still bend over & touch the floor.
Other obvious but missed signs: I used to dislocate my shoulders & chase other kids for fun. Another favorite past time was cramming my body into tiny spaces to show off. I remember when I was 16, one of my friends bet me I couldn't fit in his dryer & I totally did.
I've also been going to chiropractors since I was a teenager & managed to baffle every single one when they'd fix a subluxation & 2 days later the joint would slide right back out for no discernable reason.
Baffling doctors. Story of my freaking life right there.
I found the diagnostic material on the main EDS website & surpass the minimum requirements needed for diagnosis, so I passed it on to my doctor. I realized that I probably have MCAS & POTS too, because I've always had weird allergic reactions that even an allergist & gastroenterologist couldn't explain. Plus my blood pressure bounces around so much that I have no idea what's even normal for me.
A few weeks ago my doctor found a chiari malformation while looking for pituitary tumors (there weren't any) which also appears to be a thing that could be related to EDS. I was referred to a neurologist that I'm scheduled to see in March. I'm also 99% sure I've been having focal seizures, so I've probably got epilepsy too, but won't know for certain until I get an EEG.
The only thing I'm still confused by is that I seem to have fluctuating hypopituitarism, but a cosyntropin test just

... keep reading on reddit β‘Seeing as it's basically the only "fighter" for the blue side, the wing snap physics is a bit overmodeled. I say a bit because I'm not technical to get into exact percentages compared to the manual with researched papers that have been peer reviewed...I'm just a guy who's flown the F-5 for a long long time in DCS and the recent changes just don't make sense.
Now before you say "well stop yanking the stick back!"...obviously. But I have been extremely conscious of these porcelain wings and can tell you even monitoring the speeds, you will still snap your wings A LOT when flying it. Last night I snapped them at 6.4G according to Tacview. They were unloaded, just had 9Ps on the wing tips.
From my reading, the supposed limit is 7.3g, which I was way under. Now the FLYING limit is 7.3, which at 1.5x means structural damage should occur at around 11G.
Flying on the red side, all I need to do is get behind an F-5 and they will kill themselves a good percentage of time. It takes the fun out of it.
I got this textbook a day ago & am milling through it slow & steady to feed my interest in Number Theory while I wait to be able to take it at University. This question sorta- tripped me up. I have made a demonstration but idk if it is founded on good logic? βββββ Assume there exists a positive integer x such that 0<x<1. As the set of positive integers is closed under addition, there must exist a positive integer y such that y=x+1. Thus x=y-1. Using the definition of x, it must mean that 0<y-1<1. Then this means 1<y<2. There does not exist a positive integer between 1 & 2. Therefore y is not a positive integer. This means that x cannot be a positive integer as if it were, it would break closure in y=x+1 βββββ My qualm with this is that it assumes there is no integer between 1 & 2. Again, assume there is a positive integer x such that 0<x<3. This means there must also exist an integer such that y=x+3, & thus x=y-3. So that means 0<y-3<3 & therefore 3<y<6. We know intuitively that there are integers between 3 & 6, but how can we prove it using the integersβ axioms? & where does this proof fail in trying to demonstrate that there is no integer that satisfies 1<x<2.
Cheers! & thanks in advance <3
Hi everyone! At first I was going to ask if anyone had issues with most painkillers not working for them, but then I did some digging and realized a lot of us have this problem.
But now my question would be... Are there any medical / scientific resources out there documenting that EDS (or hEDS) patients have a tendency to not respond to painkillers?
I know there's information on local anaesthesia, but it would be really helpful if there was anything on painkillers as I'm sick of nurses and doctors looking at me like I'm a junkie when I tell them the only thing I've somewhat responded to so far is opioids.
Just as an example, I've had a surgery last Saturday and since then I've been dealing with it without any pain relief because I'm not taken seriously by any medical personnel. I'm in pain every day like most of us and I wouldn't take anything unless it's absolutely unbearable, but there are moments (surgery, injury) where I do need something.
Any information you have would be greatly appreciated!
