A list of puns related to "Hazbin Hotel"
I did this on the Helluva Boss subreddit and it went well, so Iβll do it here. Btw Happy New Year!
Iβll give you an ending based off of your answer
Iβm an international hazbin fan and I really donβt want to sound entitled but I really donβt want hazbin to end up on HBOmax simply because that would just screw over every international fan. I donβt know how much influence Viv has on which channel/streaming service hazbin will go but if she does have an influence I really wouldnβt understand why she would let the show be put on a site that makes it very hard up to impossible for most of her fanbase to even watch it, especially because she knows exactly that she has many non-american fans. It would just feel kind of shitty for so many international fans to support the show for years now only to not even be regarded when it comes to a decision like this. And I know a lot of people think that Netflix would be an even worse option because it likes to censor and cancel shows a lot but hereβs the thing: hazbin wouldnβt be a Netflix show, Netflix would only be the distributor, meaning that it wouldnβt have any power over hazbin and could censor or cancel it. So I really see no issue with putting hazbin on Netflix, especially because way more people have it and itβs available everywhere. I trust Viv a lot when it comes to the show itself but Iβm kind of nervous about this
In the extremely unlikely scenario that Hazbin Hotel premieres on a television channel rather than a streaming service, which do you think would fit it best? I personally think it would be right at home on Adult Swim or Comedy Central.
Like letβs say itβs on a streaming service and a bunch of people outside of the fanbase latch onto it because theyβve heard itβs great. Examples of that this year include Squid Game on Netflix, Invincible on Amazon Prime, Ted Lasso on Apple TV+, and some of the Marvel shows on Disney+. I just wanna know how the fanbase would feel if a bunch of people who hadnβt even heard of the show before it premiered started watching it in drones.
These have been a rather tumultuous past couple days, something even just a cursory perusing of this subreddit would show. A lot of anger towards A24, towards Viv, and towards each other for being angry at A24/Viv. I think now is a good time to reinforce an important message:
Creators are not your friends.
You are not owed anything by content creators. You can enjoy what they create, and sometimes it can be fun to engage with them on social media, but this does not change the fact that they are professionals producing content for an audience. You arenβt their buddy. Taking announcements such as these with deep anger and vitriol is unhealthy, regardless of where you stand on the recent drama.
Back up, take a deep breath. Viv is a professional; she doesnβt need defending. Michael is a professional; he doesnβt need defending. Neither one is your personal buddy because they contributed to a project you like.
It seems that a common grievance about Hazbin Hotel is that it is taking too long to come out. When really this isn't true.
This show took about 10 months to actually be picked up by a production company. For some pilots it takes around 2 years if it they are even greenlit for production. Infinity Train's pilot came out back in 2016 and it was greenlit 2 years later, then the first season came out in 2019.
Hazbin Hotel is unique because it got greenlit less than a year even though it was an indie cartoon released on Youtube.
Generally, a full first season of a cartoon takes about 1-2 years to make. There are some shows that take longer to produce especially due to COVID. The Cuphead Show was supposed to come out in 2019, but the release was delayed to 2022. Hazbin Hotel has been in production for 1 year and 5 months. It hasn't even pass the two year mark, and there have been no announcements of delays to speak of. Considering all the new information that's come out, it's likely the show will come out this year. If that's the case then, Hazbin Hotel's production time is actually quite standard.
I think a lot of people feels like it's been a long time, only because the hype behind the show has been strong for many years. Everyone wants to see this show come out as soon as possible.
In the meantime, here are some adult cartoons you can watch while waiting for Hazbin Hotel
Now there have been rumors going around that Hazbin Hotel is coming to HBO MAX which is fine if I lived in the USA I live in Austraila where HBO MAX is not available here. I am worried that the show I love dear to me I will not be able to watch under ( legal) ways! I do not judge the creator and her ways of doing things just don't know about it. Just anyone please give me something that will keep my sane. Thank you for reading this mostly rant about HBO MAX
(This is a long post. So, please bare with me.)
The reason for this theory of mine is based off information presented within the Pilot and my interpretation of the dynamic and relationship between Charlie and Vagatha (Vaggie) from it.
During the pilot, I - like many others - did not pick up on the implications that Charlie and Vaggie were in an established relationship.
However, I did think there was something between them and I assumed they would be a couple in the future due to a lot of focus points between the two - Charlie being overly touch with Vaggie and Charlie being the only one Vaggie can be herself around.
Yet, after Vivziepopβs confirmation of their relationship immediately after the release of the pilot, my view of the twoβs relationship changed a bit.
For starters, Vaggie is protective over Charlie more than Charlie is of her.
Vaggie doesnβt allow for Charlie to be disrespected by others. Yet, Charlie does not share that same attitude or energy on behalf of Vaggie for what has been presented so far.
When the unnamed demon beside her called Charlie a βStupid bitch,β under his breath, Vaggie instantly knocked him out. Not allowing people to bad mouth Charlie because they donβt know her and she is her partner.
Also, she gets upset frequently on Charlieβs behalf because sheβs aware that Charlie will allow people to take advantage and walk over her due to her kind-hearted nature.
For example, the limo ride with Angel Dust.
Vaggie doesnβt allow Angel Dust to make excuses for pulling a stunt on the day of the interview which he was aware of. She confronts Angel and tries to force him to acknowledge how his participation in the turf war made the situation worse for them and sunk the reputation of the Hotel further than it was when presented.
Never once during the pilot does Charlie back-up Vaggie in her scolding of Angel nor does she rise to Vaggieβs defense when he aims racial jokes her way and calls her a bitch.
Despite Vaggie have legitimate reasons to be upset, Charlie simply remains silent and tells her to calm down. Hell, Charlie should have been equally as upset but instead she was embarrassed and disappointed by the turn of events.
Also, Vaggie is antagonized and disrespected by Alastor multiple times once he arrives to the Hotel. Alastor even going so far to tickle her chin and slap her butt during song with Charlie paying no mind to the events playing out in front of her.
Secondly, Vaggie is supportive of Charlie, regardl
