A list of puns related to "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (soundtrack)"
This book has changed so many lives, tell me your top seven moments from each book.
I know its only 6 words.. but its a start!
Rewatching the first Harry Potter film, the end scene with Quirrel in front of the mirror.
Oh the irony, a clearly unstable, dangerous, ugly old man telling the young hero: I can bring your dead parents back. You just have to do what I say. Of course a true hero is strong and understands that itβs just a ruse to lure him in.
How sad that my mother was offered the same ruse about 25 years ago, to get her dead father back. Sheβd just have to do as she was told. She fell for it hook line and sinker. I actually like the comparison that she gave her philosophers stone (life) to voldemort (GB). Ten points for Slytherin for the use of illustrations. π
The movie is really that bad.
VFX are terrible. I don't even know where to start to describe the ugly special effects ...
The dialogues are ridiculous and shallow; there is no more than 40% of the book in this film, the characters are caricatures (Hermione was slaughtered in the first film): it is a Chris Colombus film and not a Harry Potter film.
The actors are bad, Daniel Radcliffe looks like Harry but he's a very bad actor in the first movie, he plays fake all the time. Dumbledore is misinterpreted, he has an "old man who hurts children" vibe...
This film alone, warrants a reboot of the entire Hary Potter film series
I have a copy of the first (which, oddly enough, I found in a bookshop in Pasadena, California). Now that I'm getting to the point where I want to try something more challenging. I think I'd get a kick out of reading the series yn Cymraeg.
Is this a project, or am I out of luck past book one? I can't turn much up online.

The Goonies find themselves in a tight squeeze in Hogwarts. They catch wind of some "secret treasure" buried in Hogwarts castle. They must find clues, and enter into the stages of acquiring the Philosopher's Stone (Or Sorcerer's Stone for the U.S audiences.) This is all in order to get home. Instead of The Fratellis chasing them, it's Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle giving chase to them. Can they manage to make it through and get The Philosopher's Stone together, or do they parish?

Hello, what is the difference between the two of them? I notice Sorcerers Stone is 2 hours and 32 mins compared to Philosophers which is 2 hours and 38 mins.
So, I bought a new USB DVD/CD drive recently and thought "I'm going to install Harry Potter 1" and did, had some issues with the first installation, game would open but very VERY slowly, and I gave up trying to get it to work. I reinstalled it today, following " FunAndGamz Channel" tutorial on Youtube, downloaded some files and replaced, was able to play for 45 mins or so, and closed it because I wanted to try and add in the widescreen support, so following JokerAlex 21's video on youtube, I went into the HP.ini, changed resolution, added the LegacyD3D dlls & "Widescreen fix for AdamJD mod"
When opening the game, it says first time configuration, allows me to select Direct3D Support or "Software Rendering" and picking either gives me a window that says
" General protection fault! History: UObject::ProcessEvent <-Startup.Harry0, Function HarryPotter.Harry.PostBeginPlay) <- BeginPlay <- UGameEngine::LoadMap <- LocaMapURL <- UGameEngine::Browse <- UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine "
Any advice would be wonderful.
When I look back on things I've always felt the answers were there right in front of me all along. The more I re-read and rewatch things the more I notice. There's so much symbolism in everything if you pay attention to patterns, often for me I've only been too preoccupied to see them clearly, even now I am.
I've always felt there's something special with the Harry Potter series for they are incredibly captivating. This morning I saw a single scene from Philosopher's Stone and I suddenly realised JK. Rowling (author) must know about this, I'll add some things I remember from mainly the first movie and how it relates. For Harry Potter fans I hope you can use this to increase your faith.
In Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, the trio gets stuck in the Devil's Snare.
It's a plant that slowly wraps around your body to choke you.
Hermione explains you need to relax for it to let go but as the tendrils wriggles around tightening its grip on them Ron gets noticeably more and more panicky so the plant only strengthens its grip on him more and more.
Devil's Snare, really? In the Bible the devil means fear. This is being gripped by fear.
This is about faith and how you need to relax through all resistance, all fear, all doubts, don't react to those thoughts just let them flow by or it will keep constrict you from your desire. It's also about having faith in your imaginal senses, although reality is telling you that you're being choked you have to know (faith) that it will work, turning your head to any other outcome, not being double minded by serving two masters.
Ron can't let go of what his senses are telling him but Hermione can, in her calm knowing and understanding sheβs released right away in spite of perceived peril and Harry soon after as he trusts in her words.
Ron remains terrified and is only released when Hermione casts Lumos solem, a light spell on the snare, light beats darkness.
Gryffindor is the protagonist's house in Hogwarts and is the house of courage, chivalry and determination Courage is to persist in spite of fear, the ability to persevere and withstand fear, persistence is determination.
Maybe this part is far-fetched but Gryffindor was created by Godric Gryffindor, Godric resembling Goddard and meaning "Power Of God". There is also a notable character named Neville Longbottom and he's in Gryffindor.

Ciao a tutti! A few days ago I read news that finally answered the question that the whole Italian community was asking: why that giant mouse and what does the mouse hat on the cover of the first book mean? Here is the designer Serena Riglietta explained the situation confirming that when she had to design the covers she had not yet read the books. The only information given was that Harry was a wizard in a school of magic and that the students could bring animals such as mice and owls. This explains the giant mouse, while for the mouse hat .... yes, it's absurd but the reason is why the illustrator likes funny hats.
Do you have harry potter and the philosopher's stone (2001)
