A list of puns related to "Harano Sur (TV series)"
They want to keep it low key

I'm curious if you guys have a similar thing. It's not life-changing, it's just amazing that I've never realized it's completely ADHD.
I love series. I watch them all the time.
Cause some series is always on in the background when I'm doing something else. Cause other things are soooo boring! It's my productive solution, trust me.
But: I LOATHE starting a new show. Even when I know it will be amazing.
If it's recommended, I'll make 3-4 attempts at starting before I get hooked in.
If it's something that interests me personally, I won't get hooked in until I accidentally stumble upon it the 8th time and finally watch more than 20min.
I just realised this huge part of my life is cause I get lost with all the new characters, the new plot is complicated and I'm not used to the new dynamic!
Don't know about you guys, but I don't like to come to those ADHD conclusions. I'm not dumb. And they make me feel very dumb.
Edit: Wow, afterferthought: same with books.
With 20+ episode seasons and more or less self contained episodes? I like Discovery but there is a distinct difference between that show and the trilogy of shows I mentioned. Is the landscape just too different now?
Hi guys, i ve just finished my session of exams for this year and now i have a lot of spare time. I ve decided to start watching a tv series, but I donβt know which one to choose.
Series like Breaking Bad and Peaky (fookin) Blinders are my favorite because of the action and cleverness involved, Walter and Tommy are both badasses but theyβre so damn smart. I am looking something like this.
I was thinking at:
Should i watch them in your opinion? Btw feel free to advice me new tv series that can fit that mixture of action and cleverness
(Anyway i ve also liked GoT and stranger things)
Between my primary media consumption being video games for my entire childhood and university taking up most of my time once I moved out, I really haven't watched any Netflix or TV in general over the past 10 years. Maybe a few movies with friends when I visited theirs, but that's about it. Since I'm going into grad school in the fall I was thinking maybe now is the time to get into Netflix and watch some of the great stories I may have missed out on.
For all intents and purposes, consider me completely spoiler-free on pretty much every series on TV and Netflix, give or take. I don't know what happens in pretty much any Netflix series' or most TV shows' plots beyond the general premise of the show. I found I have a broad array of interests when it comes to movies, so genre isn't an issue for me and pretty much any recommendation is fair game.
What do you think are those must watch (or just generally amazing - even if niche) series on Netflix I should look into? I'm on Canadian Netflix but have access to a VPN, if that matters for your choices.
EDIT: Wow. I really didn't expect this to get a lot of reception, but thank you all so much!!! I have a lot of things to catch up on it seems and I'll definitely be referencing this list for a long-time!
Although we already have the Clone Wars TV series which bridges the gap between Episodes 2 and 3, I think if TPM, AOTC, and ROTS were each divided up into, say, 7 episodes or so, and maybe be around 30 min to an hour, perhaps -- it would enable aspects of the films, for example, Anakin and Padme falling in love to seem less awkward and rushed, not to mention the characters getting to have a lot more dialogue.
I can also imagine the opening battle for ROTS spanning a good hour or so, telling the story from not just Anakin & Obi-Wan's perspective, but from Palpatine and Dooku's, while they're discussing the future for their "Sith Empire," -- as well as having a lot more scenes regarding the rising tension between the Jedi and Palpatine, and Palps manipulating Anakin, but these are just a few examples out of many. Thoughts?
This question was asked in another subreddit and the answers were good, but made me feel I wanted to hear what shows women specifically have been deeply attached to and why.
Hear me out.
Iβve seen a lot of understandable frustrations with leaks about the upcoming Halo tv series. Some story elements that weβve heard about donβt line up with established lore, and some people are even riled up about casting (see a popular post on this sub right now).
One important thing to remember is that the show isnβt canon to the games. It is essentially a reimagining of the Halo story. Which reminds me of one of the most beloved sci-fi reimaginings, the Battlestar Galactica series of the 2000s.
If you were around online back then, youβll remember that many changes made for the mini-series/eventual series were quite controversial and some original fans werenβt pleased.
First off, the tone was changed significantly. It became more gritty and βadultβ. Cylons, the robotic antagonists of the original series, became indistinguishable from humans.
Also, several characters had their genders or ethnicities changed. Boomer and especially Starbuck are notable examples. One of the male protagonists of the original series being a woman in the new show was a big point of contention for many at the time.
Flash forward to today and those controversies are footnotes in the story of a beloved tv series. The BSG reboot was radically different than the source material in some ways, but still was a very good show.
I donβt know if Halo will be a good or bad show. But I do know that you canβt tell from how much itβll differ from the game lore. Itβll stand on itβs own merit as a tv series.
OMG. Out of all four seasons this is the best ending.!
Nick delivering Fred to June was icing on the cake. Chefs kiss π (and the kiss OH GOSH)
Emily joining to help kill Fred was amazing.!
Still trying to understand the dynamic between TUELLO and Serena.
Now I have to wait a whole year to find out where she going ! Iβm happy !

If I could pick only one, I would have to pick the Dragon Heart series. And I would turn into a anime. Everything about it screams top tier anime in my humble opinion. The fights, the story and most importantly the power ups haha.
What about you guys and girls? If you had a choice what would you turn into a show? Let me know, there's a lot of good ones and I'm curious on what you would choose!
These tend to fall into 2 categories, which are as follows:
(1). Movie length pilots that (a) never got picked up as series or (b) only got brief series runs. These include:
"Stranded in Space" (Originally the pilot movie for a series called "The Stranger" that was never picked up for series and later got re-released by Film Ventures International with their usual credits chicanery.)
"Code Named: Diamond Head" (A Quinn Martin pilot movie for a "Hawaii Five-O" ripoff that never got picked up for series and boy is it depressing to see Ian McShane in this one.)
"San Francisco International" (Pilot movie that actually did get picked up for series as one of the "Four in One" for NBC, but only lasted six episodes before getting the axe.)
"Agent for H.A.R.M." (Interesting case as this was intended to be the pilot movie for a series, but got released in theaters instead.)
And the other option:
(2). Failed TV series that get recut and re-released as "movies" to unsuspecting viewers. These include:
"Master Ninja" and "Master Ninja II" (Film Ventures International again, this time taking all 14 episodes of the short-lived series "The Master" and re-releasing them as seven "movies" with more of their credits bullshit.)
"Fugitive Alien", "Fugitive Alien II", "Mighty Jack" and "Time of the Apes" (Japanese TV series recut and redistributed as films courtesy of our old friend Sandy Frank.)
"Manhunt in Space" and "Crash of the Moons" (Recut episodes of "Rocky Jones: Space Ranger.)
"Prince of Space" (Another Japanese TV series recut as a film, only this one can't be blamed on old Sandy.)
"Riding with Death" (Two episodes of the short-lived "Gemini Man" TV series poorly edited together as a "film" because...they both featured Jim Stafford as a guest star. Seriously, there's no other reason that's apparent.)
Quite a rogue's gallery when you look at it. And I hope we get more from this genre in the future, because there's a LOT of failed TV pilots to choose from. Hell, we could get half a season just on the remaining "Master Ninja" films alone.
Anyone else hoping they work the Strange Dogs novella into season 6 of the TV series?
