I know since the creator has no intention of continuing the series, I always wondered how powerful he would have become. Also how physically strong is Guyver 1v
I have the Funimation 5 DVD set; bought it back in 2015/2016(?). I did have the VHS tapes that were released sometime in the 90s as a kid.
Is there a definitive/best version of the anime on DVD/Blu-Ray?
I keep finding it on youtube but its mostly the Mutronics trailer or fanmade versions. Does it even exist or is it just Lost Media?

Hi, I'm new here and finally have something worth posting about. My 10 year old son saw my artists proof McFarlane 40k space marine in my display cabinet. Knowing how much I love the guyver, he gave me a very good idea that, so far, I've been unable to find anywhere online. He asked why don't I paint it like a guyver.
The idea is fantastic and I'm really loving it. But I'm not nearly creative enough to pull it off lol. Anyone here have any ideas for how this could become a thing.

Years ago I bought The Guyver on DVD. I noticed there are a number of censored edits (really jarring edits) that cut out some of the more violent scenes.
Is the Arrow Blu-ray release of The Guyver uncut? Or does it, too, contain these jarring janky edits?
They should've focused on getting the right people who understands the source material and have some respect to the fans. So maybe Cowboy Bebop fans would get something decent enough.
Should the same thing happen to Guyver then we'd probably get another Guyver (1992). We don't know if were gonna get a 3rd Guyver movie, a reboot or a Japanese live action movie, But it better not follow the footsteps of whoever is handling the live action Netflix adaptations.
I pray that One Piece fans will get a good Live Action Adaptation.
There's just something wrong with going to a characters page and have no Table that shows the Bio. Meanwhile the Russian version feels like the way to go but they still have some unfinished "Red linked pages".
Btw after checking the Japanese Wikipedia Page of Guyver its much deeper than i thought. Zoanoids titles are called "Beast Soldiers" and i learnt that Aptom's 2nd and 3rd forms are called "Aptom Dual" and "Aptom Trinity"

The movie has been shortened by 5 mins, handfuls of seconds here and there, gone; awkward lines and moments that havenโt aged well, the โPower Rangersโ moments, sound effects have been given a boost, and some of the fights have been recut for a more concise narrative experienceโฆall from the existing footage of the film. No added visual FX, no added CGI. Just one more pass through the editing processโฆ
I know some donโt like the concept of fan edits, but give this a watch anyway. If you saw it as a kid/teen 20+ years agoโฆ last time I saw it, it seemed to bounce back and forth across the line in a way that undermines the concept of a dark hero. But I believe this recut stays in the zone. And it does so with glorious practical creativity as only Steve Wang and his amazing cast and crew can.
Does anyone know where I can find the Manga Volumes / Chapters to download so I can read offline in English, Google is failing me really badly.

Guyver 2, also known as Guyver: Dark Hero, is a largely forgotten 1994 made-for-TV soft reboot/sequel to the original 1990 Guyver film starring Mark Hamill. This film starred David Hayter of Metal Gear Solid fame as the Guyver, an alien armor that takes over a host and urges them to fight evil shapeshifting monsters called the Zoanoids. It was known at the time for being more serious and in-line with the original manga/anime it was sourced from, and featured some pretty incredible monster suits and fight choreography that still holds up today.
If you haven't heard of this and love monster movie ass-kickery, I definitely recommend it as it will not disappoint!

Have you ever watched something that reminded you of Guyver like Early Heisei Rider shows? Those things could've been a new Guyver tv series but instead what we got was something that's use to sell toys.
Guyver didn't deserve to live in obscurity. If it was still popular then we could've got newer and more frequent content.
I have very recently been made aware of a collection of info from various guyver fanfics, and i wish to incorperate some of the stuff shown on the website into the jump, as well as some extrapolations and interpretations of the guyver unit. I was wondering if i should try to incorperate it into the standard jump, as a drawback, special scenario or simliar, or if i should move on and just make a Guyver fanfic jump. I can probably do both but it will take a while ether way since i have hit a sort of writers block on what to add to the jump.
The difference, if anyone was wondering, is that the guyver fanfic jump would allow for more creative freedom for both me and the jumpers, as it would allow for more creative and outlandish customizion of their guyver and or zoanoid form.
