A list of puns related to "Grumpy Old Men (film)"
I just had an old man come up to my paint counter and complain that there were no registers open. My coworker pointed out that there is somebody at the self check out who can ring them up and help them. He just threw his stuff on my counter and yelled Iβm going to Home Depot. He stormed away before I could point out that nobody was at the customer service desk and they would probably help them. Because of his attitude, I did not feel like calling him back.If he had been more polite I would happily have called out after him. I say grumpy old man because of his attitude. I am an old lady but donβt have that kind of attitude.Notice to anybody out there who is a customer : attitude makes all the difference in how you are helped. Be kind and patient and we are happy to go out of our way to help you.
Today this grumpy ass old man came thru drive and ordered a cappuccino. I was DTO and my sister was DTR she handed out his cappuccino and he starts yelling at her about it not having enough foam. Mind you my sister has severe social anxiety and is a sweetheart and seeing her get yelled at boils my blood. So I finished the order I was taking and took the drink out this man hand mid scream and said like he was 5 βItβs ok. We will remake it for you.β then my poor sister ran to the back in tears. I handed it out to him and he started to yell at me so I cut him off and said βI hope your day get better :))β in the sweetest voice possible and then as he was trying to respond I slammed the window shut. I donβt really get snappy with customers often so Im proud that I pissed him off at least a little :)))
Is it possible to get some more pissy and rude customers in the store there seems to be a shortage as I have not been berated as much as I should be
Those that do this, what happens when you fail to catch them? Do you give it the old college try and attempt it from the floor, admit defeat and bend over to pick them up, or leave them, knowing theyβll never be worn again?
As for me, I shame myself for failing by spending the extra energy to bend over and pick them up.
A friend of mine and I were debating which actors could best pull this off in this day and age. The relative format would stay the same, however we want to bring fresh blood and circumstances into the storyline.
Is there an opportunity here for some cool meta-film relationships like bringing in John Travolta and Samuel L Jackson or Michael Caine and Steve Martin? Would a gender swap work? Who is able to pull this off well in 2021? What do you guys think?
Who could be the best Grumpy Old Men (or women!) for 2021 and why?
> βThis is taking far longer than it has to.β
The old man leaned forward in his chair, his long white beard softly rolling onto and down the lavishly-decorated table. He clutched a handful of bulky manila folders which contained the fiscal information of the personal MacDonald Estate, and therefore the total accumulated wealth of his nation. Ross stared at the decrepit old man with a blank stare β he was listening, but he didnβt want to give the tyrant banker any sort of satisfaction.
>βAye,β Ross said flatly, βMaybe if our boys were paid better weβd try harder.β
Corey MacDonaldβs eyes twitched at the response. Only one night before he was ruling a nation properly, and now he had to deal with this indignant ass from Slumbay who thought he was entitled to not do a job properly because his soldiers were βunderpaidβ. If Corey had his way this mercenary would be on the streetsβ¦ Or drifting face-down in the sea in the Hebrides. It was a damned shame that Ross was the best commander within the Estate that money could buy. Corey slowly lifted his skinny old body from the chair and stared bitterly at Ross.
>βYouβll do your damn job and I might consider payinβ your northern asses more.β
Ross raised his eyebrows lifelessly at the Clan Chieftain, who he could tell was fuming at the idea of a man who didnβt follow his orders directly. He noted how easy it would be to pick up the wee old man and throw him out the large window which made up a large portion of his officeβs back wall, and how doing such a thing would end the MacDonaldβs reign of terror over the poor people of the Highlands once and for all, hopefully.
>βIβll see what I can do.β
Ross pivoted and headed for the door before the elder could respond to his resistant statement. Right before he was about to close the large hardwood door, Ross heard the slamming of the papers against the desk where the old man did his holy business.
>βI have too many goddamn problems across Ness to be dealing with your faithless arse! Get the feck out of my house and go do your damned job!β
Ross kept a small grin on his face while walking down the halls to the exit of the large manor. At least he had succeeded in pissing off the wealthiest man in the Highlands.

Im saying it its so annoying when someone says they think older cartoons are better then newer cartoons mean they are grumpy old men. I am 19 I still watch cartoons I do not hate all modern cartoons but I do agree older was better. Im not saying it as nostalgic either I can go enjoy in even older show and love it. I feel that a lot of modern shows remind me of fanboy and chum chum just pure annoying. I haven't watched any cartoons this year but if you want a prime example of a good cartoon thats modern loud house is amazing and this is the point here. Its not grumpy and old its just alot of modern cartoons truly are terrible. Noone over the age of 18 really cares to defend there old shows. We just say the truth. Make good cartoons like the loud house we will say modern is better but make shows like harvey beats or make less cartoons and keep adding more and more sitcoms its gonna be worse
Grumpy old men are hilarious and wise. I enjoy being around them, and always have. They see right through bullsh*t and are too old to care, which I find refreshing in a world completely overflowing with bullsh*t. They also tend to have a dry sense of humor that is often hilarious, and always insightful.
