A list of puns related to "Greatest element and least element"
Code: http://pastebin.com/N9Wv3suG Hey guys so the goal of this function is to print out the smallest i elements in my binary search tree. How I intended for it to run is whenever it prints out an element, 'i' is incremented and once 'i' is equal to 'count' then the function would stop running, effectively printing out the smallest 'count' elements in order. However when I run it with
printUntilPrivate(1, root, 0)
I get the 3 lowest elements when I only expected 1.
printUntilPrivate(2,root, 0)
gives me the first 12 instead of 2.
And for some reason
printUntilPrivate(0, root, 0)
gives the same result as
printUntilPrivate(1, root, 0)
which is the first three lowest elements again.
This has been bugging me for a while now and I hope gave out enough information, if you have any ideas as to what's going on please post. Thanks
This isnt to say Keanu is a bad actor I think he is just fine problem is its clear that he has only studied in person acting and cannot emote off screen.
I was worried at the beginning because alot of the clips of his voice were meh at best I had hoped some retakes would be done but sadly were not.
Ill just say now he was probably brought on board to give a boost to the sales as hes the Fan Favorite Holly wood star right now and this can go one of two ways with the actor being good or bad for the quality of the game but sadly he does fall into that boat of Celebrity actors brought on who dont know what they are doing.
Its not subtle either the rest of the cast has AMAZING voice work which makes Keanu stand out way more like a sore thumb.
Purpose wise Keanu will bring in the money but product wise he only brings the game down due to him being stuck in your head every mission again though I like Keanu but Clearly this is another Peter Dinklage thing where they just dont know how to sound good.
Thought this might be an interesting topic for discussion as it often more of a challenge but a rewarding exercise to be more critical on the things you love, so looking forward to hearing from others.
For me, my favourite game at the moment is Kingdom Death Monster..
Favourite - I love the sense of the unknown. This is something that may fade over time but currently each new monster I face, every new card I see is a new adventure. I love the intital reaction of, "what?, o no!, i have made a huge mistake, YES! and then the thinking behind how best to proceed. What new tactics does this enable for me, how best can i use this to my advantage, what would really combo with this beautifully? It all comes together really well into that immersive experience.
Least Favourite - The occasional what feels like completely unmitigateable death of a character. Although you play as the whole settlement, it can be really tough when your best character gets killed in one of the more brutal events. From someone used to being in control of a tight eurogame or having a character getting tickled for 2 damage by a goblin in a dungeon crawl, which I can pretty quickly heal back up, this is just so outside of my safe zone.
I am taking a bit of timeout to play Middara and Unlock:Heroic Adventures but I know I will be called back to Kingdom Death soon enough...
EDIT: Changed to the correct Unlock box
From what I gather, this is what freud believed. And a lot of people in the continental tradition draw heavily on freud. So is there any good semi contemporary philosophy focusing mainly on ideas like this?
I was thinking about it, since I was thinking about how the trend among a lot of people seems to be to deny the sexual element in things. And it always seemed intuitive to me that if anything the opposite should be the case. Finding out that it was a big part of freud made me wonder where that line of thought is today.
Our party is currently level 8, and we are about to hit level 9 soon. In our last session our party fought a tough boss. He had a KAC that was so high I could only hit him with a roll of 18 or higher. His EAC was lower, but the only weapon I had that targeted EAC was a level 1 azimuth laser pistol I had since character creation. And I'm a melee solarian anyway. So I was thinking it would be a good idea to pick up a backup melee weapon that is pure energy damage to target EAC if this happens again. Always good to be prepared, right? So I was wondering which element I should aim for, if there are any that are more resisted that I should avoid, or elements that are rarely resisted that I should aim for?
My favorite is The Undead, because all of the figures look at least good.
My least favorite is the Air Element. Its just boring, because most of the characters have either Wind, electricity or Weather Powers.
Mine is my water team, at 17,538 might. I think it's because i dont have enough damage units because currently the only one i have is karina. The others being xainfreid, regular elly, and thaniel.
For me, it has to be those fucking dogs. Jesus fuck I hate them. They attack in such a weird way that makes it hard to predict or dodge and good luck getting a hit on them if you usually play without lock-on. I love all souls-likes but this is one thing that can get in the bin. Love doggos in real life though.
My favourite though is how natural the combat feels, it's deep and complex enough, yet plays so naturally you feel yourself getting better with each encounter. I'm replaying the game, as my drive got corrupted weeks ago and starting over and I haven't died once, not even to the bosses and fat tanks that annoyed me most in my first playthrough.
What are some story elements you enjoy seeing in progression fantasy? What are some of your least favorite tropes?
I'll throw in a few of my own examples.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Iβm going to throw in everything I think I remember lol. I have an awful memory, so if any of this sounds even vaguely like something you know, tell me please, Iβll look into it. I need to find this dang series lol, just to put it to rest.
I read the first book in either middle or high school (07-13) and started to read the third but waited to try and find the second. I found them in my schoolβs library, and they didnβt really have any adult content, so aside from the main character being older Iβd say it was YA, obviously fiction. Iβm pretty sure they were both paperback, upwards of 150 pages I think but I donβt know by how much, and set in modern-day (so either mid-late 90s or 2000s).
In the first book Michael moves to a new place (I think it was a relatively small town, but it also mightβve been like Seattle? I read literally hundreds of books during that time of my life, and I can vaguely remember a dozen or two), renting a room from a single mother with a daughter around early teens I believe. I think he was in his twenties.
The mom was very nice to him and nurturing, the daughter not so much. They were a spiritual household, and had gargoyles around and burned incense, crystals, etc. At a later point in the story the gargoyles begin speaking to him and warning him about some coming danger and he freaks out. He confronts the family, who are hesitant to tell him, the mom was more worried and the daughter more aggressive/defensive. I donβt think he told anyone about it, but may have sought vague advice from a girl in town he had started dating named Sofie/Sofia (something like that).
Toward the end of the novel, the momβs mother comes into play. Both the mom and daughter are afraid of her, basically sheβs really strong with magic and evil. Despite being like, 70s+, she looks younger than the mom (believe she looked like a standard witch, pale maybe, def black hair, etc.). I donβt remember how it gets resolved, or even what she had been trying to accomplish, but she leaves for the time being (clearly itβs not over type-thing).
In the same book he meets this girl named Sofie/Sofia, who was a nurse I believe. Really sweet girl, had really good chemistry with her. I think they went on dates at the local library (or they met at the library, where he may have worked. The writing thing wasnβt going great for him I believe). At the end of the book she breaks things off, not because she wants to, but because sheβs going to Africa on a βdoctors abroadβ ty

Will a hero ban system be good for the game?
I have no idea but neither do you Blizzard if you never try.
It doesn't even need to be a fleshed out / highly polished version on the PTR. A simple single hero ban led by votes on your team at the pick screen is sufficient with majority wins. If everyone picks something different, simple, randomize the hero ban among their picks.
Pro Players live and breathe the game day in and out and when you have prominent (former) pro players such as Seagull suggesting a hero ban...you should at least consider it.
I USED to watch OWL but it turned into boring GOATS TV and it just got stale.
A hero ban would add some wildcard element forcing the opposing team to switch up their potentially planned meta into a more flexible, more variable one which hopefully leads to different playstyles and a more enjoyable OWL watching experience.
I like the current 2 2 2 change up but it's clear that we could be shifting into a GOATS 2.0 with an Orisa/Sig/Mei stale meta. The Hero Ban would put a dent in this, forcing the opposing team to adapt to the ban.
Blizzard. At least try. Implement and get some data on a Hero Ban on the PTR.
