I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

I said "hey look, an escaPEA"

No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

Which detailed filament shops for Australia. That list is now fairly out of date and I'm here to give it a fresh look.

Changelog (v1 -> v.1.1):

• HobbyKing have raised their prices a fair bit and seem to have exited the budget 3D printing market as a whole, which is unfortunate.

• added various vendors. This is just off the top of my head so I'm sorry if I missed any niche ones.

• I am mostly trying to add vendors from whom I've actually had experiences, so if I left something out that I do know about, it's either because I haven't bought from them or that I didn't find the experience particularly spectacular.

• please chime in with your own experiences!

VIC: Cubic Technology now stock a few products other than eSun; they're adding BASF's Ultrafuse line of high-end plastics to their store and they now have Spidermaker Matte PLA. 3DFillies I have now tried and found their product to be decent but my favorite, the PLASteel, seems to no longer be available. In addition I've since been informed that they don't actually produce filament locally, but import it and repackage it. Bilby3D have a local warehouse and import the niche stuff from overseas. Imaginables you'll know if you've ever bought an Ultimaker; they supply the top shelf stuff in 3mm, but also do some offerings in 1.75. There's also ThingLab in Yarraville, much closer to Melbourne proper, if you want to get stuff like FormFutura but not from X3D. Another shop I'd really like to have a look at soon is 3D Printing Pro out in Shepparton, since they're one of the only other places that stock Taulman.

NSW: Core Electronics now do 1.75mm filaments but continue to be pricey. One store I've had good experiences with is Phaser FPV who have a warehouse in West Gosford, who are pretty quick smart about same-day shipping and have a good selection of filaments. Bilby3D also have a warehouse here. 3DPrintersOnline, in Castle Hill, are another store I've bought from and they have a decent selection of white label import filaments. There's also of course the excellent folks at Monocure 3D, who mostly make resin, but also have various filaments for sale. Finally there's HobbyKing, of course, who still sell some types of Filament, but their prices and selections really aren't as good as they used to be.

If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
