A list of puns related to "Goodbye, Michael"
I've always felt that Michael leaving on good terms with everybody falsely implied that, deep down, his employees loved him. If actions define a person, then he truly was a gigantic jerk the whole series, which cannot be redeemed by a few good moments.
If I was his employee, I would breathe a huge sigh of relief at the sight of his plane taking off because I wouldn't have to deal with his incompetence anymore.
Therefore, the tone of his goodbye episode in season 7 felt fabricated to me.
Wow, what a great episode. So emotional, I was holding it together until the last 10 minutes or so. Just so good and overall a really good conclusion to the 'Michael Scott' era of The Office.
and cried like a wimp.
Rewatching for the millionth time but first time on Peacock. In Goodbye Michael p1 thereβs a scene where Michael Skype calls David Wallace to discuss his move to Colorado and DW tries to talk him out of it, first assuming Michael was fired then talks about how shitty Colorado isβ¦
Am I crazy or was this scene added since the move from Netflix?
This is my first time watching The Office, as a Brit who watched the The Office UK growing up, I always found myself putting this show off as it seemed it had traded this gritty realistic humour for more of a sitcom feeling. I always heard about the US version and all the jokes that came from it and so many of my friends have seen it too yet I remained pretty unmotivated to try it out. Until recently.
Long story short I have been watching this show for about 2-3 weeks now, I've just finished S7: E22 "Goodbye, Michael" and I am now sitting here bawling my fucking eyes out, as I did throughout the duration of the entire episode. I'm not a very emotional guy and at least when I am feeling emotional, I manage to maintain my composure regardless of the company I keep or lack there of. I think I really needed this. I cannot stress just how awful I have had it recently and I don't intend on trying to but I wanna share with all you strangers just how big of an impact your show has had on me.
This is actually my first proper post on Reddit. I hope at least somebody gets to read this because I'd like to hear how you reacted to this episode. Might make me feel better about myself. My heart is really full right now and I am feeling so many things. Much love everybody!
What was Michael supposed to do after "This Is It" was done? Pursue other endeavors?
Sounds like Michael Caine's scene in Tenet - JDW's final line in particular - was the goodbye many had assumed. "Best Sellers" is probably his final film.

I'm rewatching The Office, again, and I just got to when Micheal leaves for Colorado. I legit teared up and feel like I just lost a friend.
This show has a powerful grip on me...
Hello Dodgers fans,
My name is Oliver and I'm a journalism graduate. Today, I published a column on my blog about the future of Clayton Kershaw. I'm not here to self-promote at all, my blog has nothing to do with baseball and this is actually my first time writing a column about baseball! As this is new water for me, I would love to hear any feedback, any other comments and/or if you agree or disagree. I feel proud about the quality of the piece, in particular I think the comparisons to Kobe Bryant and Michael Schumacher are quite original, and I hope it can start a discussion. Please feel free to leave a comment, good luck tonight and thank you for reading!

For Clayton Kershaw and the Los Angeles Dodgers, it might be time for both sides to say goodbye.
Kershaw exited the Dodgersβ game against the Milwaukee Brewers on October 2 β mere days before the start of the playoffs β after only 42 pitches due to elbow discomfort.
While Kershaw avoided any ligament damage and the surgery that would come with it, instead receiving a platelet-rich plasma injection in his flexor tendon, he will miss the entire postseason. His future with the team is murkier than ever.
Kershaw, who turns 34 years old before the start of next season, will be a free agent this winter. So will other key players such as utility wizard Chris Taylor, shortshop Corey Seager, relief pitcher Joe Kelly, closer Kenley Jansen and starting pitcher Max Scherzer among others.
Gut-wrenching decisions await the Dodgers. None more so than the future of Kershaw.
Before Kershaw, re-signing Scherzer will be the Dodgersβ top priority this winter. Re-signing Scherzer is not a gut-wrenching decision.
Not only does his elite performance warrant it, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts described Scherzer as the best pitcher in baseball to reporters last month, but also stopping a potential playoff rival from acquiring his services is a major factor to consider.
One has to assume Scherzerβs upcoming payday this winter will surpass the three-year, $93 million extension Kershaw signed with the Dodgers in 2018. In a scenario where Scherzer inks a multi-year extension, likely worth north of $40 million annually, is re-signing Kershaw a necessity?
Kershawβs legacy is inarguable. He is one of the greatest pitchers of his generation, alongside Justin Verlander and Scherzer. He is a champion. As The Athleticβs Andy McCullough penned, [Kershaw has nothing left to prove](https://theathletic.com/2862833/2
... keep reading on reddit β‘It was so unexpected, I love The Office and I think it's hilarious, but I just didn't understand until now how much I got connected to it. A comedy show has managed to do what every sad moment in any show I've ever seen failed to do, and for this, The Office takes undoubtedly the place in my heart for my favourite TV series of all time. (And obviously for being hilarious and have amazing characters)
God, this episode never fails to get me. I've probably watched the show like seven times, and each time, just crying buckets. Jim going into Michael's office and him realising Michael's leaving that day always sets off the waterworks. But there are also some pretty funny moments, like this one I had almost forgotten about: At the end, when Deangelo is just going through the cake, Dwight looks at Jim and goes 'uh oh' like "the new manager is crazier than Michael."
Okay, someone help me. I need to know what exactly Jenna and Steve said to each other in that scene. I remember someone posting a video on here, where you could hear everything they said, but I can't find it. Does anyone know?
They Office sings that wonderful goodbye song to Michael but who on Earth would think to sing that song the day BEFORE his last day. It definitely would have been planned for his actual last day and he would have missed it.
Now if it had happened after Jim pieced it together that Michael was leaving early then it would make sense because he would have βcalibratedβ.
Good thing the PPP had the vision to set it up a day early! Maybe Dwight from the future sent a message via fax.
Edit: Moving it up because of how poor the Dundeeβs went makes perfect sense.
Teared up a bit π
Hi everyone,
This is Michael Tsarouhas, or Mikee as you might know me, the Lead Game Designer on Insurgency: Sandstorm with an important message. I'm going to be leaving New World Interactive as of today and moving on to new pursuits. I've been here working on projects like Insurgency, Day of Infamy, and Insurgency: Sandstorm for over 7 years. I've gotten to travel, meet great people, and learn so much in the fields voice over, writing, community management, voice over direction, creative direction, live ops, and design. I have so many great memories and stories. I'm extremely proud to say I got a chance to work with this team and I'm grateful for the opportunities I had. I am very lucky and privileged. I am also very sad. I'm leaving a team and a community that was always very flattering and appreciative of the work that I did. That's a big deal to me. I was always very personally invested in Insurgency, and I hope that came across to all of you in my work. I've decided it's time for me to move on from here though, and I need to say goodbye.
Please welcome Mark Wakeham as the new Live Ops Designer for Insurgency: Sandstorm. Mark has been an important part of the QA team over the past 18 months and has developed a deep familiarity of the ins and outs of Sandstorm. I ask you all welcome him with the same warmth and appreciation you've shown me these past 7 years. Mark and I have been working to ensure as smooth a transition as possible, and I can assure you he is super excited to get started. You'll see my final contributions in terms of design, content planning, and theming in upcoming updates 1.10 and 1.11, but Wakeham will be taking the lead there on my exit and from here on out. I hope you enjoy and support all he and New World Interactive create in the future.
Finally, a genuine thank you to all of you in the community. I appreciate you playing our games, modding them, giving us your feedback about them, and holding us accountable. Whether you made a custom map, shared your opinion on the forums, recommended the game to a friend, or explained to a new player how to speed reload, I want you to know that all that was meaningful to me. I know that this "big thanks to the community" message is a pretty typical thing to hear a video game developer say, especially in their exit from a company. Sometimes, it can come across as insincere or trite. But trust me when I say I mean it. At the risk of sounding cheesy or saccharine, this job was a very big part o

Maybe NBC didn't want them to make the episode too long or the writers didn't have enough writing for a two part (which I completely understand if thats the case) but I've always felt like Michael deserved better.
I never understood why we couldn't hear through Pam's microphone at the end of Goodbye Michael pt. 2. Only Michael took his off right?
