It's a real spicy boi, but man it helps my chronic pain so much and I really wanted to pass it on to other folks in this group.
So, I saw that somebody has posted about this once before but it hasn't been solved either and I really want to know if this is actually sampled from another song ive heard before or if I'm just imagining it. As soon as I heard this song I felt like I'd heard the exact intro before but I can't figure out what song it is.
I listen to a lot of 80s/90s music and I feel like the song I'm remembering is from that era. The post I found that talked about this previously by u/Riksor had a comment saying that the playlist city pop playlist had a lot of songs that sounded similar, but having listened to the playlist myself, none of the songs sounded similar to the one I remember. The songs from this playlist are also from the 80s and 90s era so that also gives a clue as to what era the song I'm remembering is from. A few other comments on the post attempting to match songs also didn't sound right. I've tried looking to see if there is some kind of wiki for the song to see if any samples have been mentioned but no luck so far. The only other place I've seen someone mention this was the other reddit post.
Another possible theory I have is that the artist of Loretta, Ginger Root, purposefully tried to make the song sound nostalgic, but I don't think thats correct since I just have a strong feeling that it was sampled from something prior that I've heard, or at least sounds extremely simlar to another song.

After a few failures with the water method.. I have found that ginger in water for me only leads to FOUL RANCID smelling water within a day or two…
Now I have a brand new piece of organic ginger and it’s been on my counter near a light for a week and I accidentally forgot about it.. when I saw it yesterday it actually has a little green/purplish bud forming from one of the nodes! It seems to be up to something….. please help me turn this baby into a ginger plant!
This is because every time I buy ginger root I use it once and it just goes to waste.
Reasons to take: to treat weak circulation, cold fingers and toes and erection problems. Also I’ve read that it’s a PDE-5 inhibitor so it’s like a mini viagra type of food?
