I am having a boy. When I found out I was having a girl three years ago, we had a name picked out very quickly. Boys are harder. We have a few candidates to get your opinion on. We are thinking of the middle names Allan or William since they are family names. Last name is a common 3-syllable occupational surname (like Gardener, Cartwright, etc).
Rough criteria -Must work with sibling name Gia (I am partially Italian but we don’t need to stick with an Italian origin name) -Ideally would be one or two syllables or have a short nickname -Can’t end in a hard “C” (Derrick, Cedric) due to clashing with the last name -Probably shouldn’t end in “-er” due to clashing with the last name -Would like to avoid approximately the top 200 names (no Liam, no Jack, etc.)

I am expecting my second child (a girl!) in April, and while I’m confident with her first name (Gia) I am struggling with picking a middle name...
When I was pregnant my first child, I had the perfect names picked out. We had a boy, Maxwell Fox (Max) but if we had had a girl her name would’ve been Maria Rosalie (Mia, Mimi, Mitzi etc) or Magnolia Kate (“Maggie Cat”, Lola, Nola etc).
I’m thrilled to be having a girl this time, if for no other reason then that I don’t have any other boy names I love the way I love Maxwell Fox. I don’t want to use another “M” name, and love the simple elegance of Gia (and do not like Gianna/Giovanna/Georgina etc).
My husband is Italian and our last name is long and ends in -ella, which kinda sucks because so many girl names rhyme or otherwise have an awkward cadence.
I’ve ruled out dozens of middle name options for one reason or another (mostly bc of google results, ie the names are used together a lot- which I probably just need to get over...). I really like all the following options, but they feel overused with Gia specifically:

Other names I love but could never use due to our last name, or just don’t go with Gia: Nadia Sabrina Ursula (considered the Italian “Orsola”, but vetoed by husband) Juliette Natalie Lucia Stella Lola/Lyla/Lara
As much as I love names, I’m tired of obsessing over Gia’s middle name-please help!

Not sure if anyone remembers this-but I am currently on season 4 of RHONJ. Gia has a meltdown because Joe Gorga was cheating (shocker that man can’t lose) and she gets upset because the other team wins.
Jacqueline and Caroline decide to try and calm Gia down. They do it in the most bizarre way. Basically shaming her, not comforting her, scolding her and aren’t listening to her. It made me SO mad!! And Jacqueline compared Gia to Ashley??? Girl bye. And then they shame Teresa for being a bad mom. Makes me so so mad!! Anyone remember this or have any thoughts?

On the latest Squirrel Talk podcast Karla Marx says that the edit was kind to Kimora bc apparently it was much worse than we saw and Gia went off on her infront of the judges. Kimora wanted to leave and not lipsync tho but production forced her to so we got the campiest lipsync to date.

Nghĩ tới đây thì lựa chọn độc thân thấy nó hấp dẫn hơn khi mình không cần đối phó với vần đề của người khác.
Mọi người có ý kiến gì về topic này? Ai đã có gia đình rồi có thể chia sẻ trải nghiệm khi còn độc thân so với sau khi có già đình không? Nếu chưa có gia đình khi già thì đó có phải là một thất bại trong đời?
