He was carrying a 19th century French masterpiece under his arm and a cage with 2 baby birds in his hand.

In Brothers in Arms and a few other Dire Straits songs, he gets the really cool kind of tone that sound like a cello or violin. I was just wondering if there is a pedal for this because it sounds really nice.
I know Dylan won Nobel in literature and its a really big thing. But I think Knopfler is a far superior poet.
I am a huge Dylan fan, make no mistake. But I have been listening to a lot of Knopfler off late and realised that the man and his poetry is just in a different orbit altogether. Sure, you can quote Dylan more but the way Knpfler's music seers through your heart and mind... Also, its timeless. It really is.

I have been waiting for MK's new album for a very long time. Finally it was released yesterday, and songs are quite refreshing. Noticeably, he moved away from the blues/jazz influences, which were heavily present in the past two albums- Tracker and Privateering.
The album is available in the Spotify for streaming (at least for now, in USA). Since, it's Friday, I am not gonna post any link. I have been listening to this album since last night, and there are few songs, which are already stuck in my head. Especially the song 'When you leave'. Definitely a masterpiece.

The first song was really trippy and he just said Nah Nah Nah a lot of times, the second song had T.I on it (Not rapping just talking, maybe its the intro lol) iβm hyped and i hope yall are too hahaha! P.S. These are DEFINITELY going on his next album
