" On December 20, 2020, Arko Holdings Ltd. (“Arko”) announced that GPM Investments, LLC (“GPM”) entered into three purchase agreements on December 17, 2020 with certain limited partners in GPM Petroleum LP (“GPMP”) to acquire limited partnership units in GPMP from such limited partners for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $98 million. In the same announcement, Arko indicated that certain of the purchase agreements, representing an aggregate purchase price of $28 million, provided for each of the sellers to purchase shares of Haymaker Acquisition Corp. II (“Haymaker”) from existing Haymaker stockholders in an amount equal to the purchase price. Prior to these transactions, GPM owned, directly and indirectly, 100% of the general partner of GPMP and 80.7% of the GPMP limited partner units. "

That's a bit dense, but it looks like GPM Investments LLC raised their equity stake, and some of the sellers rolled over their GPMP stake into HYAC stock.
GPM Carbon is funding the launch of an innovative manufacturing facility to address environmental concerns. This project deals with the real sector of the economy, which takes advantage of blockchain technology.

I'm really missing having a music library that is mine. iTunes/Apple Music/iTunes Match is terrible, as it converts your music into 256kbps AAC as soon as it uploads.
With the YouTube Premium switch, would you hesitate to invest in a GPM library now? I know Google has said that that feature will be moved over to YouTube Music, but I wonder. :)

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

From strawman's, deflections, introduction of new FUD, false brotherhood, alt accounts, and the outright denial of information. Please take note of the users recent comment history with AMC. Revenue (6 months ended June 30)
2018 : $ 28,904
2019 : $ 48,213 (66.8% increase)
2020 : $ 85,428 (77.2% increase)
2021 : $ 116,324 (36.2 % increase)
Revenue is the money generated by the sale of goods or services related to the company’s primary operations. Aterian’s revenue has significantly increased for the past 4 years. This is a very positive thing because it means that sales of the products that Aterian is selling are increasing over time. And it indicates that the business is expanding. Christmas is just around the corner so we can expect an increase in sales which we will likely see in the 2021 December 31 Income Statement.
Expenses (6 months ended June 30)
2018 : $ 47,010
2019 : $ 64,227 (36.6% increase)
2020 : $ 103,395 (61% increase)
2021 : $ 235,183 (127.5% increase)
Aterian’s expense was calculated by subtracting Net Income by the Revenue. If a company is performing well, then its increase in expense of the year should be inferior to the increase in revenue. We can see that Aterian had a superior increase in revenue up until 2021 where the increase in expense surpassed the increase in revenue. There are many factors that can explain why this happened, however, I will cover these in another post. The year 2021 is not over, and December is a good month for sales, therefore we could see a nice increase in revenue by the end of the year.

So HRE gets a landmark that increases gold from relics by 200%. This works out to 900gpm if you have 3 relics
Which sounds great, but I’m curious, compared to other civs gold generation is it actually good?
English have enclosures for gold gen and they can pretty easily get up to 500gpm without doing anything extra. Rather than having to make a monastery landmark they get to age up with an extra town center.
HRE is required to capture 3 relics if they want their benefit, which isn’t always possible. And if another civ captures 3 relics they’re at least getting 300gpm for them as well.
So my thought is, HRE gold gen really isn’t that great by comparison to other civs gold bonuses. I feel like they could use an additional age4 way to generate gold.
For example by late game the Rus hunting cabins can be pulling in around 800-900gpm, English enclosures, French guild hall etc. are all generating solid gold for their civ, in addition to any relics they may have captured.
What if HRE had a way to spawn a few relics themselves somehow, say a unique monastery tech that would create 2-3 relics one time with an initial gold investment to research (similar to the cost of enclosures)
This would allow them some guaranteed gold income based on a civ bonus they can count in to help keep gold coming in during late game.
Obviously there needs to be a deep dive into how much gold per minute each civ realistically generates from civ bonuses in the late game and they don’t need to be exactly the same, but I think the way HRE gold generation is designed it forces them into a specific land mark and forces them to capture 2-3 relics to stay competitive on gold income and it doesn’t seem especially balanced that way.

Obligatory notice that I am in no way affiliated with Valve except for being a Dota 2 player like you all. I’m just tired of seeing all the ranting posts about Valve not banning smurfs and want to argue that if you put some thoughts into it, it’s totally understandable why Valve handle smurf detection the way they are currently doing.
If Valve is not lazy, why don’t they ban smurf?
Because banning smurfs is not as good of a solution as the hybrid solution that is already in-place.
First, let’s review Valve’s current policies on smurfing per Valve’s March 25 2021 communication.
- Valve is banning newly created accounts it has high confidence of being smurf
- It is tagging the less-confidence accounts as “likely smurfing” and are trying to match them 1) against other smurfs and 2) get them to their real MMR to minimize damage
So basically there are three kinds of smurfs
Type 1) High Confidence → These are banned
Type 2) Low Confidence → These are banished to smurf pool to play one another
Type 3) Undetected → They are not detected(yet) so nothing on them.
We players are clueless as to the proportions of smurf in different pools but based on my guesstimate I’d imagine the majority of smurfs to be in 2), some in 3) and a very small portion in 1)
Can’t they just banned suspected smurf (type 2)? Why do they need that high of a confidence to ban smurf?
Short answer is it's unlikely that banning a suspected smurf is worth the cost-benefit comparison because banning an innocent player costs a shitload more than letting a smurf roam free in the smurf pool.
Let’s say you ban a player who is suspected to have smurfed.
- You correctly banned a smurf
- Effect: Potential minor loss of revenue if this smurf is a battlepass buyer/dota plus subscriber. On the bright side dota is a bit of a better place. Let’s guesstimate the average loss from dota plus+battle pass at $10, already accounting for the fact that most smurfs don’t buy battlepass/dotaplus.
- You incorrectly banned an innocent player
- Effect: Major loss of revenue. Let’s say an average player spend $40 yearly on battlepass and 4$ on dota plus subscription. If this player would continue to play dota for 5 more years, then their Lifetime Value is ~$44*5 = $220.
- These players would also likely contact steam customer support and is the kind of cases that would require human agents to review. If they take half an hour to
