A list of puns related to "Friday Night Lights (film)"
I am a composer, musician, producer and music supervisor. I recently finished season 1 of American Gods. I started out as a drummer playing with the bands Redd Kross and then the French band Air before moving into film music. My TV projects include Awake (pilot), Boss and Hannibal as well as the video games Red Faction and Watch Dogs. Ask me anything!

AA what are your plans for this weekend?
Seeing Julius Caesar at the Wharf Theatre tomorrow and then Dune on Sunday. Busiest weekend in like 6 months!
Have a great night legends!!
... is absolutely amazing.
Disclaimer: I'm a European, and I have absolutely 0 interest in american football, but the series is a bloody masterpiece, and I am only two episodes in!
Since the series and film are based on the same book, I was wondering if the film had any spoilers for the show in it. I know nothing of the book. I don't know if the film focuses on a certain story and the show is about another aspect of the book, but if they follow the same plot and characters, I'd rather watch it play out on the show.
TLDR: Buy the FNL series finale on YouTube or Amazon Prime Video. Donβt watch the series finale on Netflix or Hulu
I went through the whole series with my partner on Netflix and we were watching the series finale. Iβve seen the show before.
As we watched, I noticed the insane pacing and the many scenes that were cut. I found out that I wasnβt watching the series finale I saw all those years ago on DVD. I was watching some chopped up cut that needed to be 45 mins. The original cut was 1 hour, which means thatβs 15 mins of story that was cut. That is a significant amount of screen time cut for a television series finale.
I decided to stop the episode and downloaded the actual finale on YouTube. Iβm not sure if itβs 1 hour on other platforms. But itβs certainly not streaming on Hulu or Netflix in the original cut.
If youβre watching FNL for the first time, I urge you to watch the 1 hour series finale if you can. Itβs a much more cohesive story than the chopped up 45 min episode.
Do yourself a favor, spend the couple bucks for the series finale episode. It is worth it to say goodbye to these characters the way the cast and writers intended.
EDIT: Confirmed full 1 hour series finale available on Amazon Prime Video as well
Why hasnβt this ever been brought up as a rewatchable or in the very least on anyoneβs radar for great sports movies? Am I missing something?
I feel as though the 2004 football film Friday Night Lights with Billy Bob Thornton is overlooked. It is one of my favorite films, and easily my favorite sports film. Is there anyone else that enjoys this one? Or am I alone here?
