McKenna Denson's "Fraudulent Concealment" case against the mormon church will continue, while all other charges have been dismissed.

In other words, the MTC President Bishop won as far as him not being able to be sued personally. The mormon church won in part, and lost in part; so in reality her case was NOT totally dismissed, unless you're talking only about the suit against Bishop.

Hello, Reddit. This is my first ever write-up of a case, so I hope I’m doing this right! This one is a case I’m quite invested in; you could call it my “pet case”. There has been a write-up of this particular case before, but I’m posting this for a few reasons. The 45th anniversary is approaching, and since there is only one other summarization/discussion I could find on all of Reddit, I figured I would do some more research of my own to provide some more details and hopefully shed some more light on what is Kansas City’s oldest unresolved missing persons case.

All of my information is sourced from local papers unless stated otherwise (specific sites and news articles are cited within this write-up). Without further ado, here is the story of Loy Evitts:

Background Loy Gillespie Evitts was born December 12, 1947, in Coffeyville, Kansas, near the Oklahoma border to parents William H. and Jewell Palmer Gillespie. She graduated from Field Kinley Memorial High School in Coffeyville, class of 1966 (Loy Evitts @ findagrave). At 17, during her senior year of high school, the striking blonde met Don Evitts, 19, and the two dated as he attended Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, and she went on to study nursing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Loy ended up transferring to Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, roughly a 3-hour drive northwest from her hometown, where she studied clothing and retail (Loy Gillespie Evitts @ the Charley Project). Meanwhile, Don Evitts served in Vietnam, leaving his Firebird car for her to drive while he was overseas and writing to her every week; she kept a bulletin board full of his photos in her dorm room at K-State. Loy graduated with honors from K-State in 1972 and married Don Evitts later that year on November 4, 1972. The couple settled in the Kansas City suburb of Overland Park, Kansas (“Disappearance of Overland Park woman remains a heart-wrenching mystery, 40 years later”, The Kansas City Star, Glenn E. Last week was grandparent's day. My parents went with my boys, and my mom said there seemed to be a little more security than last year. Which really amounted to IDs being seen and matched to the child which happened last year. What was different was that the school's police officer AND an additional officer were doing the checking. This is not normal for this event. I didn't think too much of it since there are a lot more stuff being locked down, the new principal is a bit... "careful."

Saw Sam yesterday at the grocery store. Apparently the reason there was actual security looking at IDs was because the grandidiots decided that since the SCHOOL was hosting "Grandparents day" then they were automatically allowed to go. I guess since it's a public school, their argument was they were grandparents and tax payers and they have the right. They were wrong.

First of all, GPD didn't even start til like noon. This way the kids got in, settled in, were able to turn in any work, etc, and have morning recess. GPD started just before lunch with a concert, followed by lunch and photos with the kids, then the grandparents could leave, stay, or leave with the kids. Grandidiots were there at freaking 8:45. The following is a brief summary of the arguments in my research that I've found to be most convincing and influential in my loss of faith. A. Religious belief appears to be a natural byproduct of evolutionary processes.

1. Religious belief unites groups via shared tenets and prohibits the group members from questioning those tenets. (Religious belief ‘binds and blinds.’)
2. Requiring group members to behave and think differently than surrounding populations (e.g., via dietary restrictions, work restrictions, speaking patterns, religious rites, etc.) strengthens the in-group mentality and places a barrier between the in-group and the out-group.

Feelings of peace, expansion, inner warmth, and exhilaration are physiologic and have been reported in a wide variety of scenarios; e.g., in many religions, meditative practices, group activities (secular and religious), psychoactive substance usage, experiences with nature, etc. Religious activities often use practices that stimulate these physiologic responses; e.g., chanting, singing, public speaking, abstaining from food and/or water, meditating, reflecting on others’ suffering, contemplating nature, etc.

Please note the ivmmeta authors have had one study retracted from the Journal of Intensive Care Medicine and their meta-analysis was refuted in same journal where published. Unfortunately, many articles were identified as flawed (documented fraud/plagiarism - See Reardon S, Nature Aug 2, 2021), few were ever registered, most did not follow basic study guidelines (CONSORT, STROBE), many were unblinded, some had exact same vitals for every single patient?!, most had no allocation concealment, many had unequal covariates, used active controls that worsened outcome, or had unequal treatments, and had improper or failed randomization. The published ivmmeta meta-analysis had zero statistical methods documented, did not pre-register, and did not follow standard PRISMA meta-analysis guidelines which automatically gives it a rating of "Critically Low Quality" via AMSTAR2. Meta-analyses do not Establish Improved Mortality with Ivermectin

I would encourage people to read the issues with the currently published articles. Most would never be published in a reputable journal based on individual flaws detailed above let alone the multiple flaws within each individual article.

Unfortunately, if there ever is an adequate study that shows it works, the inadequate, flawed, and fraudulent studies will muddy the water so much that no one will know what to believe. Note, an adequate study with 80% power, assuming a case fatality rate of 2% would require prospective enrollment of over 4600 patients to show a 1% drop (50% relative reduction) in mortality with any drug. If you think the mortality rate is even lower, you need even more patients to show an improvement over the baseline mortality rate.

I recently came across an interesting post from brother u/InterviewForward2602 in which he claims the name calling of Munafiq torments him and that he only has questions on the Ahmadiyya theology therefore, it is unjust to call him munafiq.
