Like the title states, im trying to decide between the two vehicles. Which one would you go for?
Price wise, they’re comparable. I also want to note that I have a dog and both of these seem very dog friendly.

All weather all around setup for this excellent truck. Wrecks highly skilled AI on Mulege Town Scramble, Cascada Trail, Baja Circuit, El Descenso, and HMC. Lap times on asphalt are nothing to write home about, but otherwise it's stupidly good anywhere you want it to go. For good measure I took it to Guanajuato Tunnel Run in heavy rain and thrashed that too. Suspension is harder than you may expect for an XC setup, so it likes to bunny hop a bit on heavy terrain, but still has all around outstanding grip and stability.

Am curious why you would prefer one over a ram. I know the ram is faster with a massive supercharged chunk of iron. But it is also heavier and almost gets half the MPG. I know these are not MPG trucks, but that can have a very significant cost of ownership over the years.
Of course, the ram just sounds much better with a v8. My old mustang and my current grand cherokee have v8s. It seems hard to change to the tone of a v6.
Other than that I just get the impression the raptor is an all around better truck. If I choose to wait it out the Raptor R should be coming within year but who knows out what additional costs over maybe another 20g sticker price IE insurance and mpg.
Really just curious from Raptor owners what your thoughts are!
