A list of puns related to "Flaw (band)"
I love the accuracy of the Honor Band 6 Sleep Tracking, HOWEVER, the fact that it ONLY tracks sleep from 10PM to the following day is a MAJOR BUMMER. Some of us actually work at night and sleep during the day - this is a major drawback for me. Hope Honor or Huawei fixes this. π
EDIT: Since 4K TVs are needed to watch UHDs, I figured/hoped this was relevant to this sub.
I purchased a 65 inch Sony 950H and, many months later, I discovered a problem. There is a thin strip of uneven brightness to the leftmost side of the screen. This strip is viewable only in certain conditions, like panning across a particular shade of blue sky in a video game.
I'm probably going to just live with it because the idea of replacing a 65 inch TV just sounds like a nightmare, and it's not THAT big of a deal (it took me months to see it after all), and who knows what other issues a new TV may bring.
But as I've been reading about TVs and errors, I see people with newer Sony TVs complaining about random dark clouds suddenly appearing months in, or folks with OLEDs going through ten (yes, 10!) sets to try to avoid this or that issue. It just seems a bit surprising.
I'm also surprised that in 2022, video call technology still seems so flawed and quirky....you'd just think the majority of flaws would have been ironed out by now...Whereas my computer, headphones, even video game consoles, in my experience tend to work as they should 100% or 99% of the time.
There is no such thing as a perfect TV, I know, but by now I figured they'd be at a higher or more consistent standard.
I love Dave, I really do, hell, we all do. I hear people say that he probably wouldn't have been such a beloved character if he was there longer, cause obviously he wouldn't seem perfect forever. Which had me wondering for some reason, what do you think Dave would become if his character stayed longer? I could personally see him lying to Mrs. Kim becoming a big conflict in the show personally...also Dean seemed like the coolest dude ever in the first few episodes, I wonder if he would have been quite as disliked if he just disappeared after the dance episode.
Let's embrace ourselves
We all have bands that we absolutely love. Some love them so much that we fail to see their faults. Lets get a healthy dose of reality today! Post that band that you think is absolutely perfect and people will try to explain to you how they are human after all.
At this point we all know that the writers liked Hermione and actively removed her flaws as well as gave her lines from other characters to make her seem even better than she already was
For example, in the early books the fact that Hermione could use magic seemed to escape her in times of stress, and against the Devil's Snare Ron actually had to remind her that she was a witch when she said she needed a fire
But this was conspicuously changed in the movie to her just remembering a poem she read in Herbology while Ron flailed helplessly
Also Hermione never got the hang of wizard's chess while Ron was a master of it, but this only showed up in the first movie where it was an actual plot point, after which it was removed and never referenced again
I want to love Tidal. I really do. I think in a lot of ways it's great, but the one thing that just wrecks it is when it comes to just exploring music. One of my favorite hobbies has always been to find an artist I like and then just bounce around from one to another.
Well guess what? If you like even mildly underground music, Tidal has no idea what to do with you. Here's a prime example. There's a band called Conform (stylized η Conform ζ») that's plenty well known in the metalcore world. I like an album by them, so I'd like to check out other stuff.
Spotify gives me this huge array of artists.
Tidal gives me literally none.
This is the case over and over and over again with bands that aren't on Billboard, and it makes things just irritating because if I want to find new music I have to open up my laptop and pull up last.fm or something, or just go in spotify and find albums there and pull them up in Tidal if they're available.
Tidal feels like something that's really awesome if you know exactly what you want to listen to, but if you're just in a "show me something" mood it fails. The mixes are pretty good, but they're pretty limited and rely on me just crossing my fingers and hoping one pops along that matches the music I'm looking for.
Just a little rant.
..... is that Well-Done Steak gives you more stamina than a rare steak. Ummm, EXCUSE ME??? When was the last time anyone ate a steak cooked well-done and satisfied their hunger?

I love thinking about the behind-the-scenes framework that undergirds a story, and that made the Endwalker MSQ a delightful experience. Going into the expansion, Ishikawa and the writing team faced three thorny and difficult issues, ones that have sidetracked and damaged a lot of other stories. They somehow managed to handle all three with panache, and I wanted to take some time to discuss how they pulled it off.
Yikes this is a terrifying dilemma to face. Endwalker is the conclusion of a 10-year storyline, so everyone expects it to tie off or engage the many, many storylines that have come before. References and callbacks were mandatory, not optional, so the writers had to sculpt a story that could logically cross paths with the characters from trial, raid, alliance raid, beast quest, and job storylines, without turning it into a generic, directionless soup. References have to be substantive enough to delight fans of that content, but not so intrusive that they hurt the experience for those who are less invested.
In Endwalker, there is one scene that is a perfect example of everything that can go wrong when writing fanservice: the weird first-person cutscene while waiting for Ryne in the First. Itβs just a succession of characters we met in Shadowbringers popping in, saying hi, and leaving. It doesnβt really make sense theyβd all be strolling past this one doorway, they donβt have anything meaningful to say, and Feo Ul in particular just spouts a bunch of catch-phrases before uncharacteristically bailing. Itβs fanservice at its shallowest, emptiest, and most obligatory.
I was worried the entire expansion would be full of awkward, pointless scenes like this, but instead, they do an astounding job weaving in previous characters without slowing down the narrative. The introduction to the Ilsabard Contingent is a fantastic example. If someone boosted up to Endwalker, they would watch this cutscene and think βokay, this region is led by this person and brings this to the table.β But a veteran player will recognize all kinds of characters from the job quests. Only the most vital characters are voiced and re-introduced, and everyone else stays in the background. They donβt beat us over the head with it, they just have our old allies present to storm Garlemald.
In the same way, the Scions put out a call for help to power the Ragnarok, and Eorzea and Othard answer. What follows is pure, unadulterated, 100% fanservice, but

I (Asian, 30s F) live with my husband (Asian, 30s M) in a city where the housing market is very hot (like places go way over asking and sell in days). This market also has a lot of foreign buyers from Asia. When we were shopping around, we saw a few homes that were priced very low and had been on the market for months. Our realtor warned us that these homes had bad feng shui because these houses sit where the road runs into it (like a T intersection). This is considered very bad luck. We aren't superstitious but we had concerns about future resale value since the primary buyers are usually Asian. We polled some Asian friends and everyone was split between "absolutely would not buy" to "don't care about ghosts but care about resale value." Our realtor pointed out a few more negatives that come along with homes at the T intersection that didn't have to do with superstitions and ultimately we passed on these places because the negatives outweighed the affordable price.
We find out later that my husband's best friend (Caucasian) and his wife (Asian) bought one of these homes. I'm not a big fan of the wife, Angela. Angela had made some Debbie Downer comments when we got engaged like, "Wow, that diamond is tiny! How cute!" or like, "You're planning to hold your wedding at a restaurant? Is it because you don't have enough money to get a real venue?" I tend to avoid Angela now at group events and if they ask to double date, I make an excuse not to go. My husband agrees that Angela isn't the nicest person but he wants to keep his friendship with John.
My husband asked me if he should tell John about the potential issues with these homes. Not going to lie, it still stings that Angela was so snarky about our engagement and wedding planning and I didn't want to help them out at all. So I told my husband that they're probably excited about buying their first home and now is not the time to rain on someone's parade like Angela did to ours. I also pointed as Angela is Asian, she or her family would be aware of the feng shui and they probably considered it. And she didn't know, it's their realtor's job to help them with pro's and con's of each house, not us.
So John and Angela bought the place in the end and my husband didn't say anything. They have their housewarming and during that, one of our mutual friends (Asian) asked, "So I guess the bad energy of the house didn't bother you guys, huh?" Which prompted John to ask what he meant and later he asked my husband if my
... keep reading on reddit β‘I just recently started buying bitcoins and I developed a strategy that seems to be fool-proof, but I want some sanity check before I pour money into it.
My exchange lets me buy a minimum of R$10.0 (BRL) in BTC, as of now that represents something between 0,00003846 BTC [@ R$260,000] and 0,00003448 BTC [@ R$290,000].
I have R$ 2000 to spare and + R$100 per month. That means I can make around 200 minimum trades + 10 trades per month.
My strategy is pretty simple: I set a return rate of 3% and no loss-stop.
Then I make 'bands' to purchase: Starting at R$281,500 then at R$500 intervals until I get to the bottom of R$252,500 - that gives 58 bands.
So at any point I start to buy the bands values and when the price of the bitcoin drops I buy more bands. Until I either have no more cash or the market changes direction and I have to hold.
Each buy-band has a corresponding sell-band, which is at 3% return of the buy-band. For example, the R$281,500 buy-band has a sell-band at R$290,000, and the R$252,500 buy-band has a R$260,000 sell-band.
If the market price goes bellow the R$260,000 and I still have money I can either keep buying at the R$500 intervals or wait for the price to go up again and sell.
The only problem I see with it is 1) bitcoin flops and I lose all my money, or 2) the prices stay low for a very long time and I have my money 'stuck'.
So, after all of this. What does that strategy sounds like? Do you see any other flaw?
