Thanks for the advice on that F100 roof I had to install here are some pics of the final outcome metal work. I did butt weld the pieces together using the TIG .035 MIG wire as filler rod for everything and then brazed the corners with the larger gaps and the back with silicon bronze rod.

I welded 309lmo filler to 316L base metal. Is that okay?
So I was welding some piping today and one section was carbon to super duplex so I had 309lmo put for that weld but also 316L for the other weld which was just stainless to stainless. I accidentally used the 309 on the 316 weld for only 3/4’s of the weld and the rest was done with 316. It happened in the middle of the weld and it’s a 3/8” fillet so there’s definitely some meat between the 309 passes. Do you guys think it will hold on a pressure test?
I change my gear oil in my 250 xcw every race and usually every 3 play rides. Usually barely has anything on the magnet. A few races ago the filler cap loosened up. It didn’t seem like much dirt really got in. But now there’s always a lot of metal. Bad?

Filling system: Piston filler. I have just regreased the piston assembly. The pen also comes with the Easy Filler, which is an extension which magnetically attaches to the piston knob to make filling easier.

Body: Lightining Blue Ultraresin. It's extremely hardy. There are only small amounts of microscratching consistent with use.

Boey-style kinfe, I designed, for a character (Vaylin Fyrée), its supposed to be bronce-layered with a damascus core, with a local maple burl handle with bronce lyering. The bronce and damascus usage is caused, by low quality metal and a scarcety of it. Bronce is essencially a filler.
How should I repair this big rust hole on the rocker panel? I did air grinding it to bare metal, blow out all the rust crumble and paint it so prevent it to rust further. But still need to cover the hole? Weld, body filler, foam. Any opinion? Thanks in advance.

So im watching a 3M video on applying filler to metal. I understand why you would want to apply it over epoxy but what's the benefit of applying in over metal first?

Hi. I've just had y TV wall mounted. A channel was cut into the wall to take hdmi lead etc. Would I need to cover these wires with a metal conduit or can I just apply some deep crack filler and fill the channel? Any advice greatly rec'd.
