I’m so excited to share something with you all that I am very passionate about. This year I’m participating in the Extra Life fundraiser to raise money for CHEO, the local children’s hospital in Ottawa.

Hello Hunters! I've been a Keeper of a wonderful group for a while now and we wanted to do something for the wonderful charity Extra Life! We are a small group doing this in our free time so our donation goal is $150 and we will be matching all donations up to our goal!

So on next Sunday, August 22nd from 12pm till 6pm PDT, we will be streaming a game of Monster of the Week, we will be celebrating the small town of Pinebox Texas' local haunt The Pizza Barn's one hundred year anniversary with a Spooktacular adventure loosely inspired by the game series Five Nights at Freddie's.

Hello r/Halo!

Myself and an IRL buddy will be kicking off a 24 hour long stream for Extra-Life today starting at 1PM EST. Our objective is to (hopefully) power through Halo: CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, ODST and Reach

Our current goal for the fundraiser is $1,000 - although we've already raised $770 - we hope to blow our initial goal out of the water. We'd love for members of the Halo subreddit to come out and hang out or contribute!

So then, this has been a wild weekend to be sure!

The outfit has undergone massive growth over the past months, and seen a directional change from an infantry focus to combined arms. A beautiful community has formed that is welcoming & healthy - with weekly operations surpassing the previous ones till this very day. I wish to give an enormous shout-out to the leadership of the outfit for doing such an excellent job of keeping the community enthusiastic for our day to day and weekly events. And what has it resulted in?

Bazizanab approached me regarding the extra life charity - passionate to see 2RAF contribute and wrote down an entire guide for me to follow to sign us up. Without his assistance and level of convenience setting it all up, we wouldn't have accomplished this!

The first goal was set at 750, but after a single day we already reached 650$ without any big notifications or events. The 24 hour stream by Deathleopard1 and his sacrifice of sleep got us to our goal of 1500$ for the Silver Valley Hospital! Thanks to everyone that helped spread awareness, supported us, supported the stream and donated to the charity using our link!

I thought I had seen everything good about this game's community when I helped with the Ezrason Memorial Event - but the planetside 2 community keeps amazing me. Thank you all.

Starting this Friday evening, I'll be playing 24 hours of Legendary for Extra Life, supporting the UVA Children's Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. I'm currently over half way to my goal of $980.

We decided on some values as incentive donation values for our campaign and each of these values will come with their own rewards. How does it work?

Extra Life is similar to a marathon: become a participant of Extra Life and you'll obtain a fundraising page for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital of your choice. During game day on November 7th, play a marathon of games (perhaps try out FF7R on Hard Mode if you haven't already) and ask your friends, family and other ex-SOLDIER associates to donate via your fundraising page. Typically the marathon is 24 hours, but it does not have to be 24 hours straight - Your own health is important too! Many participants also live stream their marathon and you can even do so before game day.

Tattooed folks and tattoo artists of Astoria/NYC! I'm raising money for sick kids through Extra Life this year and have raised over $6000 in support of Children's Miracle Network and Cohen's Children Medical Center (in NY).

I had set up a bunch of incentives (like getting waxed live on stream) to help raise money. One of my coworkers donated $1000 (plus an additional $1000 to be matched by our company) on the condition I get a Papa Smurf tattoo.

Ideally I would love to do this live on stream as part of the fundraiser! I'm looking to get Papa Smurf in a "Fighting Irish" pose - I'm thinking about 2-4 inches tall. Haven't decided where yet, probably my leg or my butt.

If anyone knows of someone who would be willing to do a house call and willing to let me stream this on the afternoon or evening of Saturday, November 7th - that would be amazing.

NOT A REQUIREMENT: Ideally I'd love it if we could crowd-source the artist's usual rate and donate that to the cause in lieu of the normal fee (I would of course still be giving a sizeable tip). That said, I understand its a really difficult time for a lot of artists and I'm happy to pay full price for this.
