A list of puns related to "Epsom Salts Monorail"
I just got diagnosed with fibro and a lot if the posts I read talk about getting relief from soaking in epsom salt. However I only have a shower at home, anyone without a bathtub have tips to use the salts in the shower ?
Has anyone ever tried mixing it with lube or something so it stays on the skin ?
Edit : thanks everyone for the great ideas ! I was thinking lube because it's mostly water so salts would dissolve easily, but lotion is basically the same idea so should work well
Hello! We think our piggy has a very mild case of bumblefoot. The bottoms of her feets are bright red with no apparent scabbing. After reading some information here and online weβve tried soaking them in epsom salt. We got a shallow dish, filled with warm water and epsom salt, and tried to hold her there as she stood in it. She absolutely hated it and was squirming and trying to run away. She maybe stayed in for 45s. Does anyone have any advice on how to soak her feet that isnβt so terrifying for her? Any advice would be much appreciated.
Just a note for more context - We think the bumble foot is because the bedding we original put in her cage was a bit rough. Plus she was nervous and would just sit in the same spot she was peeing for a long time. Weβve changed her bedding to a softer one and sheβs moving around her cage and playpen more now. Weβre also giving her even more vitamin c rich veggies (peppers). She doesnβt really like the vitamin c pellets in her food. Any other advice about her environment and diet would be appreciate if you think weβre missing anything!
Thanks for your help!!
I just took a bath a few hours ago (I have other health issues and Iβve been through the ringer and just wanted to relax for a moment) and I used some lavender scented Epsom salts. I really didnβt think it would be an issue as I havenβt taken a bath in about 3 years, but Iβve suddenly come down with insane burning and frequency. Does this sound like irritation or could this be the start of a UTI? I think I just irritated the crap out of my urethra but I just can not mentally and physically afford a uti amongst everything else thatβs happening right now. Any advice is appreciated ππ»
All that I read about Epsom salts foliar spray says it brightens the green of the leaves. What if the leaves are not naturally green; for example the bright red of Ti shrubs. Does it make them more brightly crimson? (Maybe silly question, but want to be careful with ornamental tropical shrubs of various flamboyant leaf colors.)
A few months ago I discovered how great epsom salt baths have worked for me, I took a nice hot bath and it came to the head the next day. Try it if you havenβt by now.
But does anybody have any good remedies for keeping them away all together?
I fell off a shopping cart onto asphalt and was wondering if I can take a bath with epsom salt water with a week old navel piercing
Preferably not $25 a pound π
Edit: I'm allergic to lavendar
Yo moms a ho
I'm sure it's probably been mentioned at some point, but i tried a hot bath with epsom salts last night when my RLS was really bad and it made it pretty much go away completely and also relaxed me enough to get a couple hours of sleep. Def recommend trying if nothing else is working. Lasted about 4 or 5 hours before i was woken with more RLS π€·ββοΈ

Besides sleeps and massages, Iβm Looking ways to give my feet a good relax for someone who runs daily.
Do any of you feel weirdβ¦ anxious, chest pain, almost disoriented after an Epsom salt bath? Iβm not normally sensitive to detox methods but feel awful.
