Parents gifted me this beautiful 6x4 faux leather notebook they got at an antique store in Rajasthan,India. Suggestions on what I could do with this lovely rustic notebook? Its cover mimics traditional Rajasthani embroidery and it has thick handmade paper. Iβm donβt want ruin this pretty thing.

Black tapestry or maybe a shawl, framed, with silver beading/embroidery that shows the Taj Mahal and has the words 'Taj Mahal Agra / India 1944'
My grandfather brought it back from India when he was stationed there during WWII. My grandmother had it hanging in her living room my whole life. It is beautiful and intricate, about 4' tall and 3' wide.

DSCH Embroidery #5, from a black and white photo dated 1925 (two days before the premiere of Symphony no. 1.) I decided the cat needed to be orange. Splendor silk thread, size is 11" x 14". I am particularly happy with how the hands turned out.

[Tip] Label your fabric using safety pins and embroidery floss bobbins. When I use up a fabric, I take off the safety pin and put a sample of the fabric with its "bobbin tag" in my "archive" binder.
