I think I have finally figured out the exact "vibe" I want to give off, after a lot of thinking and research. What became clear from this process is that I was incredibly drawn towards:
a) platinum/silver blonde hair (which would thankfully suit my colouring if I keep it toned enough!)
b) a common "vibe" which to me, emulates being a "cool" girl - a mix of inner city bohemian, vintage, grunge, punk and a mix of masculinity/femininity. I feel like this captures exactly what I want to give off - I want to say I am arty, intelligent and cultured. I want to seem sophisticated but edgy. Like I am aware of the social mores and I am powerful enough to pick and choose exactly which I accept.
c) thinness/waifishness
Is there like, a name for this aesthetic? Do you think this matches the sort of vibe I want to give off? Where would you start to creating this vibe? Rn, I am planning on cultivating my wardrobe, booking in with my hairdresser and continuing to try to lose weight.
Wolf Alice confirm rescheduled details for their two 3Olympia Theatre shows - and add BELFAST show due to demand at The Telegraph Building, Belfast on 1st September 2022. Tickets are on sale tomorrow at 10am.
Wolf Alice are one of Britain’s most revered bands and Mercury Prize 2018 winners. It has been a decade since the band began as a duo of Ellie Rowsell and Joff Oddie, then later expanding to a four-piece, with Joel Amey and Theo Ellis joining the group. Since then, the band saw their 2015 debut album My Love Is Cool soar to #2 on the UK charts, their sophomore album Visions Of A Life won the 2018 Hyundai Mercury prize and a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rock Performance.
