A list of puns related to "Elements and Things"
Hello,
I am requesting help with remembering a joke. Posts of this type did not seem to be against the subreddit's rules, but if I am in error, please let me know and delete my post.
Anyway, here is what I remember of the joke:
It is movie themed and it says something like this: "There should be a post-apocalyptic zombie movie with a romantic comedy element. Then we would have the world's first rom-com-zom-dom-bomb." The only thing is that I forget what the "dom" was supposed to mean and whether or not there is more to this joke, either in the set-up or the punchline. I googled it to no avail. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you
My dad and I went to lunch today and I was telling him about the things we are learning in my circuits class. I told him all about voltage, current, circuit elements (this is ECE 101) and all kinds of stuff.
Then I start to explain Kirchoff's circuit law... He says "Not to be confused with Kerchief's law. You know, that law about blowing your nose the right way. I think his name was Hank."
He starts laughing as I groan...
The film is chock-full of dad jokes (mostly puns). Things like "Marie Antoinette can't have her cake and edict too", "That was disarming" (after the kid rips off a mummy's arm), "She's in denial" (spoken when the girl is in ancient Egypt), etc. The relationship between Mr. Peabody and the boy Sherman is an adoptive one, so the dad element takes center stage.
