Racquetball warehouse acquired the Ektelon brand and released a slew of new racquets. Some of them are selling for like $100 now...has anyone tried them? Thoughts?
I bought one off Craigslist for 10$. Was this a decent price for just a recreational beginner racquet?
I currently use an Ektelon Toron Pro 180. I had been using e-Force Beta Apocalypse 160 but I found that with a grip and string upgrade, the Ektlon Toron Pro 180 was almost as powerful and much more precise than the Beta Apocalypse. In fact, I found the ball to be bounding into the air much more than expected with the Beta Apocalypse after playing with it immediately after playing with the Ektelon Toron Pro 180. I used the Ektelon exo3 Toron 150 in the past and found it to be fairly precise but hard on the arm. With that background, are there any rackets that you recommend for demo that I might like even better than the Ektelon Toron Pro 180?
I’ve heard Ektelon is out of business now so is it even worth buying their racquets anymore? I had an ESP Classic (170g) & the frame broke so I’m looking for a new racquet with a similar feel
I'm just wondering if anyone has any opinions on how the Gearbox Sleek Black balls compare to the Ektelon Classic Black balls. The club I play at primarily uses Ektelon but the Gearbox balls are cheaper and more readily available to me. Any thoughts are appreciated!
I used to play racquetball quite a bit (3x week). I ran the club racquetball program at USC. Since beginning law school, I haven't had time to really play. But soon I will be practicing law and will be able to start things up again. My current racquet is the Ektelon 03 Black. I prefer Ektelon racquets and need to upgrade, but if you have other suggestions from other brands that have a rectangular grip, I'm open.
Hi fellow racquet-redditors, I currently use an Ektelon 03 Copper racquet and love it, but it gets heavy and hurts my elbow when I play more than 3 times a week or so. I get great power out of it (especially with the power rings in), but I can't help think that's not worth the price of injuring a major joint. Any other Ektelon racquets you'd recommend that are light, and powerful?
Ektelon is basically defunct, but their Vision II grips are my favorite and still available on RacquetWorld. Does anyone have experience installing these? What kind of glue or adhesive do they require? Any tips are appreciated.
I play a C+ / B in my leagues and I am upgrading from a cheap box store racquet to a nice one. I am in my mid 20's and have been playing on and off for a few years and I am ready to spend the money for a nice racquet. I generate my own power pretty well and was wondering what you guys thought of my 3 demo racquets?

Sports Authority is filing for bankruptcy. This can be very bad news for the four racquet manufacturers that supply them.

I've been looking to buy a racquet soon, and the Magnum lite was really well-reviewed at RacquetballWarehouse, with a lot of people saying it was a tremendous value. It was also a lot closer to my price range than comparable racquets.
I was going to order it today, but it's now missing from RBW's racquets list. Does anyone know why?
USAR just came out with a new 22 inch length rule for racquet specifications. The 175 is 23 inches and I believe the 165 is a hair over 22 inches.
Please be weary if you were planning on buying either of these racquets.
There's a plastic covering on the standard Ektelon racquets. What do you do when the plastic starts tearing away? People have told me before to "replace" the grip. What does that mean? Does that mean you take off ALL the plastic and then redo the whole grip? One time I bought some grips and it was either the do-it-yourself wrapping tape which came out terrible and was awfully slippy, or a slide-it-over condom style approach which again came out terribly. I want to replace the tearing plastic with a professional job, like a new racquet is.
Also, many years ago a friend helped me buy a racquet. Before I ever played with it, he put a plastic protector over the grip. Then when the protector decayed away after a year of playing, I took the protector off and the original racquet looked nearly brand new. Have you guys ever done this yourself or heard of others doing it?
Overall the grip thing just confuses me :)
I inherited an older black and yellow Ektelon Tour Lite Ti racquet some time ago. I'm assuming it is an entry level racquet as it was purchased at sports authority some time ago. I can't find any information on the weight of the racquet. Anyone know?

Hey all, I very recently started playing racquetball with some friends and wanted to ask about racquets. When I was on the way to play the first time I stopped by Goodwill to see what they had and they had an [Ektelon Titan] (http://imgur.com/fgY1rgX) for $5 so I got it. It looks pretty old but I knew it wouldn't be a limiting factor anytime soon. I enjoy playing with it and seem to do decently but when I visited my dad and mentioned that I started playing he gave me his old racquet, an [Ektelon Power Stick XLT] (http://imgur.com/A6nMbec)
I haven't gotten to play with the new one but I was just wondering if anyone could give me some more info on either of them as I am having a hard time finding any. Thanks!
It came with four power plugs at the top of the racquet. Do I need to move those to the side for more power or do I need to buy more? What have you found to be the best figuration for your game?

Does anyone have hands on back to back comparison of the E Force DarkStar and Ektelon EXO3 Toron? I own the eforce NXT Gen Lethal and eforce Apocalypse. I've demo'ed the Ektelon exo3, HEAD GrapheneXT, head graphene radical. I prefer the eforce nxt gen lethal over the apocalypse for control. During the demo of the exo3, that felt better than my nxt gen lethal for both control and power (i think the exo3 was around the same power). I wonder if the dark star is a lower class version of the Apocalypse...

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
