This cycle would consist of nothing but awkward dorks who could nevertheless model their butts off and should’ve gone farther in their cycles than they did, like Shandi, Kahlen, C7 Michelle, C9 Heather, etc. I don’t know if someone like C12 Allison fits this category but I like her so I might include her too. Derek speaks a lot about many compounds but I never really saw his perfect cycle of today based on what he knows now.. and how to actually use the different growth pathways .. so really scientific cycle and not the random shit most people use in huge dosages … any ideas what could be a smart cycle ?
About me and my application: 3.4mid, 175+ (1 take), nURM, with 4 years of work experience and a masters degree. Work experience in finance and consulting. Outside of that, I don't think my softs are much to write home about, but I tailored my entire application around my strengths and more unique experiences and strengths, and I think it served me well. I was fortunate enough to have strong and well-positioned recommendations, and targeted everything squarely at Penn.
About my decision to apply ED: I am well-aware of the many risks and issues associated with applying ED. Given the low cost of living in Philly, and my living situation, I'm able to cut down on debt a fair bit, and I'm targeting BL. Would absolutely not recommend this course unless you are dead set on a school that you're a very long shot at.
To my fellow splitters/lower GPA applicants: Coming out of college, I never dreamed I would even have a chance to get into a school like Penn, based on my GPA, and it took me a long time to build up the confidence. Don't count yourself out. Study like hell for the LSAT (most consequential two hours of my entire life), apply early and often, and emphasize and showcase your softs, writing skills, and everything that makes you interesting (there is plenty, trust me).
I am happy to provide any information, help, and advice that folks would find useful (and feel free to DM!). I've gotten a ton out of this sub over the past year. Would love to pay it forward any way I can.

Dreams from Torment. These seem like they could really bust some heads in the right deck, but after six consecutive curb stompings in my ususal pod, I have exactly zero confidence in anything I try to build.

I thought [[Shabraz]]/[[Brallin]] might be kind of fun, but then also thought about Rakdos pain in [[Kazarov]] too.
Adding in [[Bag of Holding]] or other stashes for your discard and [[Change of Fortune]] seems to be a decent plan, but I have the tendency to have way too fucking many moving parts and my decks are too slow so idfk anymore.

It seems that there have been many hunters before you and some have completed their contracts, been killed by Gehrman and are now awake in the world as you meet a few along the way.
If the Hunter contract is basically to kill half of yharnam and slay the nightmare by killing the great one baby and it’s guardian, isn’t that the end? Why would there be need for more and more hunters?
so basically, everytime i have a dream about anything that involves me going in fast movements, mostly either in the style of a rollercoasters, those "broken elevator" park attractions or a merge or both, the following happens:
-i wake up mentally exausted
-i try to sleep again cuz well, i am now exausted
-i get ANOTHER rollercoaster & similar dream
-repeat cycle untill i get so sick of it decide to get off bed and sit down a bit to relax
so, AITOO who always deals with this when having this sort of dream?
Hi, I am currently awake but have been stuck in a recurring and continuous dream all night, each time I go back to sleep. Really sick terrifying devious flashback dreams it's torturing me, so real, I wake crying in panic, I'm afraid to sleep - I'm afraid to be awake. It's 3AM (0300) and I've finally decided to end this nightmare well at least waking from it, I've giving in and bombed a few mg haloperidol. So there goes my day as the hang over for me is horrible.
I've left my wife and family to travel across the other side of the world in search of help, but I'm all alone with no one to talk to, would a stranger listen?
I'm at the point of now or never with this shit it haunts me like my own shadow.

I've been having this problem that's been getting worse over the last year. At first I had to pee like once a night, but now I wake up after every sleep cycle with a strong urge to pee. I go pee a tiny bit and go back to sleep and so on every 1.5 hours. I stopped drinking caffeine completely, don't eat or drink ANYTHING at least 6 hours before bed, but I still need to pee 5 times a night. Also the dreams are always very vivid and I remember all of them.
What do you think this can be?
I’m seriously considering switching my CLS RD to ED. So this question is mostly for those who ED’d schools that don’t have guaranteed scholarships for ED applicants (CLS, UCLA, etc.) but any insight is appreciated!!
It's great how much faster Cycles X already is for the CPU, making that part of my system more viable than ever!
But I can't help but feel bitter than my gpu now is "downgraded" in its usability for blender; I do use Luxcore but that's not great for animation and its material system is less flexible than that of Cycles.
UPDATE: I checked the most recent ROCm version, which HIP is part of; and V4.5 has full support for VEGA so I'm uncertain why VEGA isn't supported in blender Cycles X...
Please help me out. I was recently convinced by other users here that the previous “Ones” before Neo didn’t have to look like Keanu Reeves, might never had a love interest before meeting The Architect, might actually have been women as well.
But then I remembered that there is still one big counter argument to that: Neo dreaming of Trinity’s fall of a skyscraper in Reloaded. At the beginning and before the climax Neo is clearly visualizing the future (the final act of Reloaded) before the event actually takes place in the movie. He is so afraid that Trinity might die on the next mission that he first convinced her to not join the teams and to not re-enter The Matrix when the final mission is about to start.
If we assume that the opening scene of Reloaded is a dream of Neo where he can visualize the future, the question remains: how did he do that?
And I remembered that I had previously explained it away with the previous five cycles. I had assumed that Neo always looked like Keanu and that there was always a Trinity that died in the past. So the dream he has at the beginning of Reloaded might have actually been a flashback that survived as a memory in the code of The One. Neo just might have been remembering parts of his old lives in the previous cycles when he dreams.
But if there never was a Trinity before this cycle… this theory obviously doesn’t hold up anymore.
Is there any established consensus yet how Neo could see the future in Reloaded? Or is the flashforward at the beginning of Reloaded just meant to be seen by us moviegoers and Neo just had general dreams in which Trinity was in danger to be killed?
