This classic Ps2 game was a staple in my childhood, and I've never found another BMX game as good. I played Descenders recently and it's great, but there's no racing.

Is there a game that has this downhill racing like feel that Downhill Domination on the old ps2 was like? I would love a game like this in PSVR 3rd and 1st person would be awesome.

Recently I’ve had an itch to go back and play Downhill Domination again, a mountain biking game for PS2. Does anyone know of any more recent games that are similar at all? I’ve looked all around and can’t find anything
And if I ever hear Ubisoft talk about the addition of mountain biking I'm going to cream my jeans.
Ideally for PC or PS3, but really, any similar title. It's a sadly under-represented genre in modern gaming. I'd love any suggestions to scratch that itch.

I picked up Downhill Domination recently a because I vaguely remember playing it on a PS2 demo disc as a kid, and it's way better than I expected. The weird part is the only place I've ever seen or heard of it was on that demo disc, it's not even on the list of PS2 hidden gems in the sidebar.
What I want to know is how a Sony published title on the PS2 managed to fly under everybody's radar, and if anyone actually played around the time it was current.
I know this won't happen but god do you lot remember Downhill Domination? That game was the shit! It was brought up in a video I was watching recently, I was like if only they brought that hidden gem back. The tracks were so crazy, I used to love playing the final map again and again on split-screen finding all the shortcuts on the maps was so fun! There were so many different ways you could finish a race. The huge jumps into canyons the final attack powerup... bottles now they fucked people up 1 hit boom your out. I don't know maybe this post will start a fat hype train and bring it back. It would be nice playing an extreme sport on the console again all we have is barf mxgp and the DISCUSTING compact game system, because you know we might as well give up on skate 4... session looks cool but ya cant beat skate. If not any emulators?? I have a mac (save the abuse) I study graphic design industry standard.
There needs to be a new Downhill Domination game for the PS4 or a game like it. use to play the hell out of that game when i was younger. does anyone know of anything that's like it being made right now?
Hello all! I recently did a review of this awesome game on the PS2, and it seems like a lot of people didn't know about this game back then despite the fact that it gets decent user reviews! Its an over the top mountain biking game with some fun gameplay characteristics! ok so the ps2 game downhill domination was a pretty fun game especially to play with friends, me and my best friend loved it back when we were kids, but then comes to we are no longer kids, 18 years old in fact and we both loved downhill domination except that now it was only available on ps2 and to find the game would be pretty much near impossible, so my idea is to have a remake done! considering the fact that developers can improve the game like adding certain features that we have today like adding in higher quality graphics, first-person view, a wide range of customizable gear and player, more intense maps, not saying it wasnt already, a load of online features! muiltiplayer, leaderboards, leveling up, private match to invite only ones who you want (friends), sticker creator (this could be brought to single player also) create a brand for yourself and others if they want to join it, create the sticker using the editor and add it to your player to show it off on your gear like shirt, bike etc. chose from a selection of celebrations if you win the race! hell you can even get silly with it by making mini games such as, tri cycle races, crazy carpet races etc. well thats quite about does it for my game idea, i hope i dont get sued for basically putting an idea on a website for a remake of their game, i hope the would understand that their game was dope and the beez neez bruh,, if you had time to read this thanks!! have a awesome day!! just wanted to try and get a all time favorite game back to life :)
