A list of puns related to "Double Dealing Character"
So I just beat Raiko in the extra stage of this game (it took forever and I finally beat her), but when I went to record the replay with my recording software, near the end of the replay, Marisa starts to move all wonky and not at all like I moved in the actual play-through. In the replay I end up dying at the spell before the timeout (aka the one with lots of curved lasers and yellow balls). In my actual play-through I beat the boss with a life and a bomb to spare, so I have no idea what happened. I really don't want to replay this stage as it was very difficult and I would rather move on to other things. If you guys have any idea on how to fix this, I'm all ears.
PS: I used Marisa B (the one that generates lives/bombs with her own bomb if used correctly), and I normally don't record my play-throughs live, I record the replay instead after the fact and post them to youtube. Its easier for me that way and my laptop doesn't reach 100000 degrees after 15 minutes if I record live. Also I have no idea how long it would take for me to beat it and I don't wanna risk any damage to my laptop if I can help it.
UPDATE: Turns out DDC replays are broken in general especially when playing as Marisa (regardless of shot type)
A broken replay is beyond repair since its a video file and it isn't influenced by the game after its been saved. That means I will have to redo this run again live. (oof)
Thanks for trying to help though, I appreciate it!
UPDATE 2: I found out a way to salvage replays but only from the base game and not the extra stage! If you record each stage individually, the replay does NOT break, if you try to record them in 1 go, it will de-synchronize randomly and the replay will break.
FINAL UPDATE: I redid the stage and recorded it with X-Split Broadcasting, here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHoqPKOyQr4
Part 1: Sekibanki
Part 2: Welcome Home Princess Sukuna
Part 3: Sayonara Amanojaku
Slight warning, while the 3 doujins themselves are safe for work, the site they is hosted on are not. All 3 works also contain scenes of violence as well.
I'm on my way to hard modo and I want to 1cc all the windows touhous (I do not play PC 98) and right now I'm doing quite well, the only games I haven't 1cc'd is PCB (i actually 1ccd it but with 4 lives) UFO, DDC and HSIFS, and depending on how you see it, EOSD and LOLK (I have 1cc'd the game with the max lives but without using them, and yes, that means that my life count never got below 2, and LoLk, well, a Pointdevice clear with Reimu) I'm planning to do DDC next but I don't quite understand how the lives logic works (And shasdkakfdomaru and seija are effing impossible, but eh, practice) even after reading it on the manual I don't quite get it, so, oh, and also any advice on the player character, I usually play as Reimu (But I can't decide if A or B) but I can try and play as another character if you convince me, as Marisa doesn't seem to be as retarded as in other games like IN, I would also love if you give me your most valued strategy in this game (Besides practice, obviously, as dancing in the POC is retardedly dangerous) I will also be watching replays on YT to improve... I think I'll be doing HSIFS next and UFO last (Crap, ufo is what Junko would call a "pristine danmaku hell with silly ufos to disrespect you"
I have a friend who is really into D&D, but every time he played in my groups he always has the exact same character, a Teifling Fighter with Rogue subclass, with the same look, mannerisms and backstory. The only change heβll make is rolling new stats for a new campaign. This wouldnβt be an issue except his backstory dives deep into 3.5 tiefling lore and he wants the DM to follow that lore to the letter regardless of setting.
When asked to make a new character, he will always respond βnot until we finish a campaign or my character diesβ
Basically, the dialogue looks like this
This occurs in 1.00a and the Japanese version as well. I've used a different source, switched out graphics cards and tried it again on a clean install of Windows and it still looks like this.
Since it also happened on a clean install I thought I might have been missing something and installed the cirno.ttf and thspatial.ttf fonts and also made sure my DirectX was up to date. Anything else that could provide some insight to this?
How would you rank DDC in terms of difficulty and how good it is in in general compared to other games in the series?
