A list of puns related to "Don Dixon, Baron Dixon"
in that case DWAC is hella frontier
I put on content warning for precaution I think hahaha.
So, I'm reading currently Fire in His Veins from the Fireblood Dragons series. I've read all Ice Planet Barbarians and Ice Home books and loved them. Thought I would try the dragon series. But book 6 is getting on my nerves.
[SPOILER]
Andi and Liam stop one night at a sex shop to rest and here it goes. There are talks about lube, but Andi keeps on talking about how it is used by men who don't really help the woman get in the mood and wet enough (???). I tried to let it go, but then later on Andi sees Liam naked and says "Man, I bet those idiots that run the sex store feel stupid now... They don't need dildos or anything crazy when there's men like you around."
And honestly that's conflicting for me. I have dildos, I have butt plugs, I'm 22 and sometimes I use lube 'cause I don't get wet enough on my own (pill and all that). It just feels in these two conversations like 90% of men were rapist even before the rift and that people who like dildos and other stuff are crazy (???). I might be seeing stuff wrong here and it doesn't make sense 'cause in the Ice Planet Barbarians series there is talk about the good use of lube, and dildos so I'm confused.
Are those the thoughts of the character only? But why so degrating?
I don't understand and I'm kinda feeling like a freak now hahaha. Maybe I'm just sensitive lately. So sorry if I offend anyone. This is kind of a rant, but I'm still on to the series (very good by the way π₯°).
Update5: RUBYβs BOOKS ARE BACK UP!
Original text:
I was able to put my kindle in airplane mode to keep what I currently have checked out on KU, but WTF Amazon?? Rubyβs books are pretty much the only reason I am subscribed to KU.
People on Rubyβs Facebook were speculating that they could have gotten pulled because someone reported them for being βsexually explicitβ but so far there hasnβt been any explanation. Iβm so sad for her and I hope this gets resolved soon. Edit: this reasoning is just speculation so I am crossing it out but leaving it up. Ruby said on her Facebook she hasnβt heard anything yet but it is still the holiday weekend, but apparently something in one of her Icehome books was flagged as βmisleadingβ
Update: people on her Facebook are sharing messages they received from Amazon when they inquired, and Amazon telling them it was βthe authorβs decisionβ which is bullshit as Ruby didnβt know anything about it
Update 2: I am seeing comments from people on her Facebook saying they made some headway calling customer service to complain and threatening to cancel KU. So that might be a good option if anyone feels like doing something. Seems like some of the customer service reps are actually listening and looking into it and seeing how popular Rubyβs books were. Hopefully this means it was part of a bot glitch and she can get reinstated soon.
Update 3: I have been told that emailing Amazon customer service might help:

Hi there! Baby poster here who finally thought of what he wanted to say after joining this sub. Just want to give you insight into the lens I'm rewatching Potomac from. This is my third rewatch! I've been a Housewives fan for a few years and have gotten into nearly every series rather heavily. Potomac is my #1 currently, overtaking my previous favorites in ATL, NJ, and NYC. I managed to get my roommate to watch HW due to SLC and we've transitioned to Potomac. I'm up-to-date with the show but of course, my roommate has never watched it and in general, is a quite casual Housewives watcher. This thread is just a compilation of my thoughts as a rewatcher, discussing Robyn's place in the Potomac franchise after engaging at length with a new viewer.
Regarding the infamously regular Robyn Dixon, we oft see her likened to other "normal" housewives which have found themselves on the chopping block season after season. The most common comparison is with Cynthia Bailey, a Housewife who just ended her tenure on ATL after ten seasons. Of course, there are other Housewives which the fans will bring up in conversations surrounding Robyn's place within the group dynamic of Potomac. However, the Cynthia comparison is the most apt, but I also choose to fixate on these commonalities in reverence to Cynthia's long career as a Housewife and how she navigated the game for so long. She is, without a doubt, the most successful Housewife for those in her archetype, a beautiful and false wallflower, which any following Housewives should aspire to be.
Cynthia, like Robyn, found herself at the center of a particular line of discourse every time cast announcements dropped: she's beautiful, but boring, make her a friend of the Housewives. We don't care about her storyline, be it about her relationship or her businesses, since she doesn't deliver the entertainment worthy of a tenured peach.
Note: I don't really plan on going too much further into this comparison between Cynthia and Robyn, to be quite honest. I find them to be very distinct characters on my screen and despite the common rhetoric surrounding them, it's not something I really find interest in doing a deep dive into at this time. Including Cynthia is more of a reference point as she is from a larger franchise, has been a Housewife longer, and has now completed the entire lifespan of a Housewife.
Fortunately for Potomac's continued growth, it's found (or arguably, developed) a cast with some of the most colorful personal
... keep reading on reddit β‘I just chatted with someone on Amazonβs customer service chat. I explained to him what happened and that the author herself didnβt know what was going on.
He looked into it and told me that because so many complaints had been made about her books being taken down, that Amazon was going to return them to Kindle in the next 2-3 days!!!
Just wanted to share some good news. Hopefully this actually pans out. Crossing my fingersβ¦
Here is the chat record. The last picture has the update! (You can tell I was starting to get annoyed in the middle, haha)

His pronunciation of certain names is wrong and it gets annoying. (E.G him saying "Horland" even though Erling has literally told the world how to pronounce his name and that's not it. Don't even get me started on Bruno "Fernanch".) As well as this, the majority of what he says gets extremely repetitive.
This is a joke post, but in all honestly I sorely miss Martin Tyler and Alan Smith.

Iβve spent the last year in Ruby Dixon books, so Iβm interested! Itβs so unusual that I canβt find a picture of her online, especially considering how prolific she is. So do you think the books are authored by more than 1 person, or do you think sheβs truly 1 individual who writes all of these?
Iβm not familiar at all really with Romance writersβ conventions/media happenings, so itβs possible that sheβs a known person who tons of readers have met (if thatβs the case ignore me!)
EDIT: I know itβs a pseudonym; I meant is RD 1 person or many people
