A list of puns related to "Don't Rush (Take Love Slowly)"
Hi,
recently I've noticed a trend here that isn't quite right and, I'm sorry, I must say something. I don't want to school anybody, this is just a friendly advice from a fellow athlete which trains 5/6 times a week. Don't mind my abrupt tone, English isn't my native language and I'll do my best to be clear and polite.
Almost every day I see threads of people showing off poorly executed skills which clearly they aren't ready to perform. Honestly, I don't see the point. Please don't do that, you're not cool at all. You look hilarious and you're risking bad injuries that can ruin your journey forever.
I understand Calisthenics is becoming more an more popular recently, especially on social networks, but please don't go down that rabbit hole. Practice for gains, not for vanity, or clicks. Don't get me wrong, it's perfectly fine to show off and look cool, but make sure to exhibit something you CAN do with proper technique.
Mi suggestion is... always practice basics, build strength and balance, work your entire body and practice the exercises you are ready to take on, until your form is impeccable. In the meanwhile, practice basics again and again. Whatever new thing you learn, keep going back to the basics. I know I sound like a broken record but it's all about basics.
In my experience, once your Calisthenics "vocabulary" increases, you'll probably find yourself unlocking many different skills during a short period of time. Sometimes you unlock skills that you didn't even train before! You know why?
Because you are ready.
There are no shortcuts in Calisthenics (and sports in general), imho. Being able to perform a skill requires to walk through a path, which sometimes consists in other easier skills that can't be overlooked.
The best example that comes to my mind is Skateboarding: learning a 360 flip without mastering the ollie, the kickflip and the shove it isn't ideal. It is possible of course, but you'll take way more time and the flaws will be always noticeable.
Be safe and train hard.
Like I have just shot up in a vein like that... barely any blood when I pull back on the plunger but no burning sensation when I put the plunger down or bump...
The goal for this season should be to get Zion and BI back 100% for enough games to establish some chemistry with the other members of the starting five before the season is over. We can't risk rushing these guys back too soon. Getting to the #10 spot is just not worth it. Yes it will get ugly if we allow them to come back slowly, but we must be patient.
Holgrem might be worth the agony. I'm no fan of tanking in any way but since we've been ravaged by injuries we might as well benefit from it.
Chet Holgrem is the center sent from the basketball gods for Zion. A 7 foot rim protector who plays brilliantly on the perimeter offensively.
The Pelicans training staff would be instantly faced with the extremely challenging task of taking weight off of Zion and putting it on Chet. But its doable. And its worth risking because if these guys do reach their peak we're talking champagne showers and Canal St. parades.
Another blessing in disguise of this dreadful injury riddled season is that it makes it more likely that Zion will indeed sign that rookie extension.

>Pacers host Bucks tomorrow. Nate McMillan was asked if he had any advice for first-time father Giannis Antetokounmpo, whose son was born Monday. His response:
>"Enjoy. Take all the time you need...Don't rush to return."
Who is the fantastically named Wheat Hotchkiss you ask? He's the Pacers' Senior Manager of Digital and Web Marketing, apparently.
Anyway, nice try Nate but I think Giannis is probably going to play and he's probably gonna be hyped
I left the church at 18 but am only now just learning the truth about the church. Iβm 25 now and have been in denial about it all. It is soul crushing even though I have been out for a while. I am just realizing how negatively the church has impacted my entire life and feel like Iβve finally figured out why I am the way I am. Itβs not a good time.
One of the biggest problems I have right now is that my 5 year old son goes to church with my parents every Sunday. I thought it was harmless, all they do is sing songs right? I feel conflicted. He loves to see his friends at church, he loves the songs, he loves everything about it all and is excited to go. He has a fav church song and sings it to me, he always ask me to play it. I donβt want to ruin something he loves, but I also donβt want him to be indoctrinated into a cult! If I pull him away from this, it forces me to talk to my parents about the church which I am not yet ready for. They will ask me why and it will take the time they have with him away. We have all lived together until almost a year ago so my son and them are very close. My dad gaslights me, invalidates me, and makes excuses for the church. βOh they donβt teach that anymoreβ is something he says to me a lot. He always makes me feel like I donβt understand and honestly after realizing how manipulative he is, itβs hard to look at him. I crumble when it comes to talking to him. I feel like I just need more time, but as time goes on the more my child is being fed bullshit lies. I just donβt know what to do. He has started asking me if I believe in god. He asks why I donβt go to church. He doesnβt yet understand that people can have different beliefs and I want to teach him that. Being in the Mormon church, and being told itβs the only true church obviously goes against that. I feel like I need to get my shit together fast, for my kid. What would you do if you were me?
I donβt know if Iβm overthinking this. I just donβt want to hurt anyone.
Talking to you The Salt Mines #2 server, always have stacked teams on one side and always wins by more then 500 tickets. Never close games.
I have been playing Online Games since before the war (pick one), so let me give you a tip young grasshopper.
There are games you use up and toss aside like a used tissue (after blowing your nose in it, stay with me) and there are games that give you a journey to enjoy.
Seeing FO76 as a journey is not only making sure you don't rush through the game (way to much xp right now, so leveling is to fast as is), it also fits with the mechanics. Let me explain.
I set up camp at a Lake in the middle of my territory to explore. I got a few Purifiers, some crops, a small cabin and enough turrets to keep the scorched at bay. There is also a few Fungus nearby.
So i craft some food, just enough for the journey ahead and i set off, which means my food doesn't spoil.
I don't pick up anything i don't need or have enough of. What do i do with thousands of steel in a post-apocalyptic world, alone, make 1000 daggers to get my smithing up ? (Wait, wrong game)
So i make sure i have enough to repair and craft the odd item and that is it. Because of that my Stash is ok. (for now at least)
I pick up old world memorabilia, listen to the holotapes, read the notes and try to piece together what happened.
From time to time i sit down on my porch, have a Nuka Cola, smell on some soot flowers and smile when another band of scorched runs into my turret fire.
It is easy to be max level on release day, after all, everything is a rush and fast consumption is what we live for. But here i would suggest a time out and yes, i think the game really has that much promise if you let it.
There have been plenty of times I found someone attractive and wanted to be with them. In order to do so, I initiated conversation and attempted to get to know them, however, it was always such a forced and awkward conversation, simply because the chemistry was not there. Iβm now with someone I absolutely love, and our banter is spot on, our chemistry is amazing, and I couldnβt be happier :)
A lot of the times when we get Lucid we are so excited we just want to Dive Right on in with what we want to experience. This however is likely to lead to a subpar experience, It can be so much more!
There is something about engaging with our senses in this state of consciousness, that pumps light, color, and clarity into the Experiance, perhaps this is due to certain portions of the brain that regularly shut down for sleep coming back on to receive and process the senses that we are experiencing. Whatever the scientific reason may be I suppose it really doesn't matter π
These techniques also serve to ground you in the experience and increase the duration of your experience, again I don't know the scientific evidence behind that I just know what works after thousands of experiences !
If you get into the habit of doing this every time you become Lucid your practice is likely to go up drastically!
The first thing that I do is rub my hands together. Until I can feel a sensation, it is an odd sensation to put into words, it is like a warm, frictioney, tingly feeling. YES I just made up the word frictioney!
If you do not feel any Sensations right away do not worry, keep performing the exercise until you do feel a sensation, that is how you know it is working, it is also important to believe, belief in yourself is a key ! Believe that this technique and this exercise will improve the vividness and Clarity of your experience, then it will do so even more!
Maybe doing just this one stabilizing technique is enough... But lets take it even further, take your hand and make it closed fist put that fist out in front of you and your field of vision, raise your confidence and believe, believe that you have a candy in your hand!
Don't look at the candy just open your hand and pop it into your mouth! don't look at it to avoid negative subconscious interference, like maybe you don't see the candy and it tricks you, just KNOW it is there. Pay attention to the way it tastes for me a lot of the time it taste like strawberries!
By now your dream should be crystal clear, I call it high definition vision!
However if things are still a little bit foggy and unclear, good thing we can take this even further :)
Reach behind your back, set a very strong intention and belief that you will feel a flower stem in between your fingers! Pinch your fingers up and down up and down until you can feel the stem, each time you go up you raise your confidence and belief in yourself eve
... keep reading on reddit β‘I have recently fallen in love with gin (especially Wildwood Spirits Kur Gin!) but don't have many ingredients at home to experiment with gin-based cocktails. I've made a lot of Gin and Tonics, Gimlets, East Sides, and Gordon's Cups and really enjoy them all. Now I'm hoping to expand.
I think both the Last Word and the Negroni are cocktails I would enjoy, although I admit I've never tried either before. So, for buying new spirits, which opens the door for more cocktails down the line? Which is the preferable cocktail? Any advice is welcome.
Thanks!
