I really hate the holidays.

RMN is such a stupid senile idiot, and my stake dictator/liar won't allow us to use the building for ANYTHING.

So a few days back I was reading a newsletter from Reddit stating that it's gonna go public. Public traded (stocks) which means it will have shareholders. They will dictate what is accepted content. This means reddit will be even more commercilized and heavily moderated than it already is. Talking of Moderation r/natureismetal is a key example of this, the page used allow real 'Metal' content, but now since it's gone public, the same Mods scrutinize and allow posts that better fit their description and more for the general public. Checking out Top posts from past year, and check the posts right now, you can see the clear difference. Hell I earned 300k karma in 2-months posting there, now not a single post gets followed through. A lot of moderator are already power-hungry, cry baby, sensitive little shits, in short "Karens with Jobs", banning anyone they disagree with. Side-note, I'm not penting up any aggression nor did I get banned, it's sad seeing this noticable death spiral of my favourite social media platform.

There is no way Reddit succeds when shareholders are breathing down the necks of an already pathetic board of directors. Reddit as we know will die. Some say classic reddit is already dead, even my older brother always says that. Even the websites that let's you view deleted reddit comments (Ceddit and removeddit) are all gone, I'm not sure if they are related but a skeptic in me thinks so.

To put it in short, profits now come first, so a lot of subs will not exist, which defeats the whole purpose and true essence of reddit 'Feeedom' and standing strong against cancel culture that tries soo hard to appeal both radical sides. r/WPD and r/waterniggas got banned months back simple to appeal both side, where a softer name r/hydrohomies exists with the exact same content ( I loved all the above mentioned subs ).

I (28M) and GF (25F) have been together for 4 years. I admit i’ve never been a muscular man and during our time together she has gotten more curvaceous which i love (there’s more for me to grab onto yk?). She’s been working on it for about 6 months.

I try to be as supportive as I can but she is a totally different person at the gym. She is usually amazing, but after breaking a sweat i stg it’s like she’s possessed, she yells at anybody who ‘interrupts’ her (trainers, managers or people asking if she’s done using a machine), she’ll be rude to the staff to the point where she has 2 strikes because of complaints about her, which i know bc her membership has a guest pass and I sometimes go to provide support (and use the sauna ngl) so i’ve seen her and we’ve talked about it.

When she gets home after the gym it’s the same, she gets annoyed at everything, the tv, what’s for dinner (that she usually chooses before going), the way the furniture is arranged and tbh as much as i love her it’s emotionally exhausting to the point i dread the days she goes to the gym.

She’s super apologetic the next day and acknowledges that her behavior is unacceptable and promises that she’ll work on it and control herself. I’ve asked her what causes this and she says that she gets too hot and sweaty and dislikes the sensation to the point she gets angry. I’ve suggested fans or water sports like swimming to balance that but she says that it’s not the same level/type of exercise.

Yesterday I went with her to the gym to use the sauna and honestly as much as i love her i felt a little disgusted with how she was treating people. She is usually so sweet and nice but she was berating a custodian for mopping a spill near her and she just blew up at him and had him in tears. I grabbed her and told her we were leaving. I apologized to the man on her behalf and she was yelling at me for interrupting her workout, defending the man and taking her home.

She continued yelling all the way home and I admit I had it. I told her this wasn’t the woman i knew and that if this is truly who she was then i wanted nothing to do with her. She yelled some more calling me irrational and not having her back, I told her the only way i saw to fix this was for her to go back and apologize to the whole staff and stop going to the gym because i couldn’t stand the person she became after working out.

Not even a cheer from the audience was caught by Soona's sensor. It had gone long since quite as the strained gurgles of the worm choked out. The hammer lodged in its broken rows of teeth.

O'plen and Soona found themselves able to do nothing as Demon trudged behind the worm, firmly grasped the gored mess of its exposed tail... and started swinging.

Its labored efforts to un-lodge the hammer were drowned out as violent hitting of bone armor crashing into rock sounded out. Followed by cracking, then the tenderizing of flesh.

The worm had long since died after the first ten swings, but demon went for twenty. Then for thirty.

Soona knew no possible order she could give him that would stop his wrath. And she grew uneasy, sacred even as he continued.

The end match buzzer screeched out slapping all the contestants out their dazed states. Much to her relief, even demon stopped.

Seemingly broken from the chains of each aliens version of death, the crowd started moving around again and cheered behind the protective wall. Possibly even grateful for the barrier between them and Soona's beast.

As Soona really only just digested what happened the booming voice of the referee returned happier than ever.

"Beings and tentacles! We have ourselves a winner!" He shouted enthusiastically.

Continuing, "Soona the Bitumin and her bone beast-... excuse me what is his assigned name? You haven't placed it in the documents." He asked lowering his voice and zipping in front of her.

Looking back into the deep crimson of the camera, she stuttered "D-Demon."

Without missing a beat he said "And her bone beast Demon!"

Almost eating from the palm of his imaginary hands, the crowd went wild. Soona had never seen a crowd this excited for a warm up match. They were just meant to build up the tension later games would use the hype of.

If not stuck fifteen feet away from what they were cheering at, she too would possibly be excited. Impressed maybe.

But... she knew the truth. She had experienced it all first hand. The looks. The strange behavior. Fighting with not just using advanced tactics and tools to win, but all without her ordering it to do so.....

Before we dive into the details, it’s customary to have a TWAB intro discussing what’s going on in the realm of Bungie and Destiny. Let’s keep this short and sweet, shall we?

• Our 30th Anniversary is out on December 7, which just so happens to be 19 days from the publication of this blog article.
• In-game, there’s still plenty to do between Seasonal Challenges, Trials of Osiris, the occasional Iron Banner, vendor reputation, god-roll hunting, and more.
• Next Thursday is Thanksgiving here in the states, and many of us will be taking some time to rest up and spend time with family.

I'm excited about Legends Arceus because it's finally a genuine positive original change for the Pokemon franchise that is sorely needed. I also see that this post made some people think twice, and that's fine. I made this post more as an information dump because GF/Nintendo have basically showed NOTHING to the general public, and I've had a lot of people assuming this was just another generic Pokemon game.

I get it, GF is incompetent. But unfortunately, they're the ones in charge of the games. If you want actual good change and series growth, you need to support the changes you want to see, and I also think it's really interesting to see how they created PLA using their crappy 3DS engine. It's interesting from a technical standpoint, but it's not like I'm condoning the game's graphics from an artistic standpoint. The fact is PLA is genuinely impressive when you take into the fact that it's running on a modified 3DS engine that wasn't designed to do any of this in the first place. Does that mean it wouldn't be immediately better if it was using a better engine? No. Heck, BDSP used Unity and while the game itself looked very barebones the water shaders in BDSP dwarf GameFreak's attempt at using graphics conventions from way back in the Wii era.

I personally have been burned by GameFreak since USUM when they removed Lusamine's fusion with Nihilego. I still wanted Pokemon Z. I was angry at LGPE because it didn't do enough. BDSP is a broken mess. But I can't help but laugh at the hypocrisy when people get upset at Pokemon for being stagnant and them immediately dismissing the very first time in so many years that Pokemon is finally undergoing major mechanical changes. And hell yeah, I'm going to advocate for that. I'm not saying buy the game, just wanted to let you know why I'm personally excited for it.

We're less than 3 weeks away from Pokémon: Legends Arceus' release, and the majority of this sub seem to not really be as interested in its existence as I would have expected, seeing as this is the Pokémon game that the "Pokémon never tries new things" crowd should really be paying attention to.

I only have one vegan friend, that I only get to see every couple of months. but even she cheats because she can't resist sushi. I have maybe two close vegetarian friends, and that's it. But I think they find my veganism to be extreme. I really struggle with the idea that people will think of me as the "crazy vegan". It made me quieter when people make comments about how they couldn't give up cheese or how steak is just too good, which I feel extremely bad about, but I have had multiple people (new friendships) distance themselves after we got drunk and they asked me aggressive and belittling questions about me being vegan to the point where I started crying.

I feel like I can't really get close to anyone because whenever I bring up this part of me, one of my most important parts that dictate so many of my closest held values, I just feel judged. I cant explore this part of myself with almost anyone. talk about how much it hurt when my mom started calling me difficult when we went out to a restaurant, leading to a public berating. I can't complain about how a restaurant added egg to my dish without me knowing without them thinking I am overreacting.

my friends mean so much to me, but having to suppress this important part of my life makes me feel so alone and helpless. It seems like any discussion I've ever had about veganism in real life has turned into a fight.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

First, I don't like this subreddit too much because of how extreme some commentors are in regards to treating Muslims in aggressive ways. I still want to understand something though.

Back in the day, Chrisitianity was dominant over Western people as it dictated how people lived in their daily lives whether they liked it or not. Now, that'sconsidered as a backwards way of thinking and secularism ought to be the way. The interesting thing is that the people opposing Christianity's rule were met with aggression from the dogmatically religious themselves, as in the Christians themselves. So, the freedom fighters were concerned mostly with oppressive and dogmatic minded Christians.

So, how come there is so much emphasis by Western left leaning people over things that seem to not make sense to me whatsoever such as the advocacy of the dangerous term islamophobia or implications of racism or hatred towards Muslim people if Islam were to be criticised or mocked or ridiculed or whatever? How come Muslims get to be the center of attention for being oppressed when an apostate, a term given by Islam, does those things? It's like the situation is even worse than those Western people who were against Christian rule. Not only is Islamic rule here in the Middle East oppressive, there seems to be support for that by the so called freedom advocates out in the West.

Take Islamophobia or claims of racism for example. I think explaining why Islamophobia is a bad term is usually treated like how when someone tries to clarify why socialism isn't bad. The socialism advocate is immediately met with condescendence and mockery through suggestions of wanting to create an oppressive regime and how they should learn about history or how much 'soy-boy' energy they exude and so on. There's literal social activism in the form of mockery and putting people down by both Muslim apologists and Western left leaning people against attempts to remove the usage of the term and replacing it with a much more reasonable one like anti-Muslim discrimination/bigotry. It feels like being a broken record explaining how Islamophobia contains both criticism of the religion of Islam and its doctrines and also discrimination of Muslim people. Having both meanings at once in a political term makes it muddy to say the least and makes it easy to manipulate the emotions of people by suggesting that the so called Islamophobe is discriminating against Muslim people. I don't really have any corrections I'd like to make to my first part. If that changes, I will edit this post, or include the edits in a Part 3, if it happens. Let's go!

First of all, I'd just like to quickly mention that the way these loans are rated works the same as most other asset backed securities. Yup, the same exact conflict of interest exists here as it did in 2008. Ratings agencies like Moody's and S&P are paid by the servicers of ALABS to rate these very ALABS. Next up, used car prices. I didn't really address appropriately in Part 1 why I believe the used car market is so hot, and the significance. So here goes. The used car market being hot greatly benefits ALABS. The more loans have to be taken out, the more money these dealerships make from these loans. Obviously, the main cause of the hot market the insane chip shortage. There just is not enough supply of new cars to satisfy demand. u/Vnmous, who works in the auto industry, had a great comment on my first part, saying "Dealers are enjoying the position of the industry at the moment. They have never made more money, even though there are no cars on most lots". My part 1 DD supports this conclusion: dealerships now make a majority of their profit on loans, not profits from the physical car. First, let me start off by saying that despite all the bugs I've encountered, I absolutely love this title. Contrary to a large amount of posts I've seen on here, Twitter and other forums, I believe it's an amazing title, despite the whole "this is what we waited almost 3 years for?!" mentality.

Secondly, let me give you a little bit of background on me. I've worked previously in the software industry as a tester and bug documentarian for various software revolving around productivity, so I'm familiar with the process itself and the inner workings of a dev company.

Okay, now onto my (I believe educated) POV.

There is clearly a stark difference in the experience between the PC and Console versions of the game. Overall UI experience, console specific bugs and lag issues (even when running on the internal 'performance' mode) as well as issues with progression of several quest lines due to it being possible to become softlocked when accessing certain things (ex. Princess Quest arcade cabinet).

There's also a failure of being able to navigate to certain parts of the Fazwatch menu (previous messages as a prime example) as well as overall jumpiness of the mission screen.

Now, the reason I believe these issues are console specific are for the simple fact that this game was clearly designed with the PC build in mind, and the version we received on console was a, I would dare to say butchered, port.

The first indication of this is as soon as you boot up the game and see the logo for the game. You'll notice a mouse icon, meaning that it's assuming and I believe actually searching for a mouse as an input. (side note, plugged one in, didn't work)

The second is the overall Fazwatch navigation. You're supposed to be able to expand or collapse the missions and messages drop down tabs, however it's not possible due to the above mentioned mouse input not being present.

The third is the clunky controls for the camera system. I've read from numerous people that the camera rotation doesn't seem to make sense a lot of the time in regards to where you'll move to next and how exactly to move to the one you want. Again, the game is possibly expecting a mouse click such as in the PC build.

There's others, but I don't want to dwell on these issues as much as I'd like to move onto my main point of all this.
