One's a bony tenant and one's a Tony Bennett.
I'm really not into classical singing like in Nightwish.
If you know me (iykyk ππ), then you might know I rep S.E.S. till my last day. My bias is Bada, main vocal and leader, and it's safe to say she's my ult because there's just no one else whom I love as much (although, Ock Joohyun comes reeally close).
When S.E.S. debuted, when Bada was asked for "favourite singer", she always answered "Toni Braxton", 90s RnB singer. First of all, wow, the taste. Toni Braxton is really awesome. It was known then that Lee Sooman while training Bada for S.E.S. had gifted her foreign RnB records to widen her musical knowledge. She was trained in Korean classical vocals (Chang) and was a classical music high school student (western classical vocals), so she was really good at singing but wasn't too good at RnB, so she got a lot of RnB CDs to study and listen to. Im sure Toni Braxton's wpuld have been in one of those CDs that Bada listened to to learn how RnB works.
But y'all know someone else who has taste? My mom. I don't know how we went to that topic but we were painting stuff And my mom wanted to put some songs on, and me as a secret RnB lover asked my mom which songs were popular when she was in college. She then says "ah this singer was really popular, i liked her a lot" and it's Toni Braxton's Unbreak My Heart!
(This songs chorus HITS SO HARD)
Mom even sang along each and every word. It was pretty cool to see haha. A bonus is that my mom sings really well so it wasn't bad to listen to either. I then played some of my favourite RnB songs, from Destiny's Child and SWV. Mom asked me, surprised, how I know them and it was a bit embarrassing to say I searched them out by myself, so I said it was on that 100 pop hits CD we had in the car when I was a kid.
Toni Braxton has another really fabulous song I like, He Wasn't Man Enough For Me. For anyone sick and tired of heartbreak breakup songs, here's the ultimate angry girlfriend song hahaha
It does make me think a bit though : There's only a few years difference between Bada and my mother, maybe around 3-4 years with Bada being younger, but there are worlds between them - the one is from a village in South India, the other one from a seaside town in Korea. One works at a lab in R&D, the other as singer. One dreamt of being a singer, the other is living that dream. One was married off to a man 6 years older to her in 1997, the other one sold 650k debut albums and won a rookie award in 1997. One

Itβs not only unfriendly due to weapon/armor/light grind, but the lack of transparency about what DLCs you need to buy to unlock content is ridiculous. Why should a new light have to buy Shadowkeep when they already bought the Deluxe Beyond Light with season pass? Again, its confusing for new lights and also a money pit for new players coming into the game. Itβs hard for them to enjoy the actual game when everything is locked behind a paywall. Fix your stuff Bungie. Just have a βStory So Farβ DLC which gives you all the content.

So here's Anton Beliayev, the frontman of the Russian group Therr Maitz. He was invited to make a voice-over for the Russian version of the Destiny 2. In this video he describes his actual role:
Here's the video (it's in Russian).
Destiny 2 really is a great game. There are so many good things about this game that are unique to the game, and honestly has been the game that has kept me occupied in lockdown. As such, I tried to get my college friends to play this game too. But they all backed out soon, and I honestly don't blame them. It is so hard for me to recommend Destiny to people, especially now that i have spent a year playing the game and knowing how things work and will work.
I just wish that this game would become something that I can recommend to people not just on the basis that I personally jive with it. Content vaulting is a whole other thing, but the grind and the new player struggle just overwhelms people. And while I personally find the money I spent into the DLCs and seasons worth, I know that why it wouldn't appeal to a lot of people. Really hope that some aspects of the game shoot up so high that I can safely recommend people to play Destiny 2 in Witch Queen.
Mike Singer:
> Nikola Jokic asked about what he admires about Dirk: "He's one of the few guys that was playing for one team their whole life, whole career. He won the title, he won the ring, and I really, really admire him. Just because of that. Because he didn't quit, he didn't abandon the team. I really admire that."
