A list of puns related to "Dennis the Menace Strikes Again"
Many of you may be familiar with the 1998 movie Dennis the Menace Strikes Again starring Justin Cooper, Don Rickles, Betty White, Carrot Top, etc., and how it's supposedly a sequel to the 1993 Dennis the Menace movie starring Mason Gamble, Walter Matthau, Joan Plowright, Christopher Lloyd, etc. Well, I have a theory about the movie, which I hope counts as a theory, and that is that it isn't a sequel to Dennis the Menace (1993). Here are the facts.
In the 1993 movie, none of the characters (with the exception of Dennis' parents Henry and Alice) resemble the characters from the Dennis the Menace comics and/or '80s TV series that they are based on. Whereas in the 1998 movie, they actually do.
The 1998 movie is not set in the same city as the 1993 movie. Plus, the Mitchells' and the Wilsons' houses are switched. In the 1993 movie, the Mitchells' house is on the right of the Wilsons' house, but in the 1998 movie, the Mitchells' house is on the left of the Wilsons' house.
In the 1998 movie, they actually show more Dennis the Menace characters than in the 1993 movie such as Gina (played by Alexa Vega), and Dennis' grandfather (played by George Kennedy).
The 1993 movie was written by John Hughes, whom you may know as the creator of other movies such as The Breakfast Club, Uncle Buck, the Home Alone movies, and even the live-action remake of 101 Dalmatians. However, John Hughes had no part in creating the 1998 movie.
If the 1998 movie is supposed to be a sequel like everyone believes, then it should have at least one mention of the events of the 1993 movie. Just like in the Home Alone movies, the Lord of the Rings movies, the Harry Potter movies, etc.
The only connection between these two movies is that they both have the character Gunther Beckman (played by Hank Johnston in the 1993 movie, and Keith Reece in the 1998 movie.) whom wasn't even a character in the comic strips, the '60s TV series, or even the '80s animated series. Well, anyway, that's my theory, which I assume is one. If so, then it's just a theory. So does my theory make sense or am I drunk and need to go home?
I was walking today from the kitchen area to the sofa when I notice out of the corner of my eye one of this red-wearing crazies. Quickly I ran and pretended I couldnβt hear him as he started calling out to me.
βSir! Sir! You canβt sit there! And you canβt open a beverage until you pay for it!β
I yelled βGoddamn Target employee, youβll never get me!β as I kept running away.

After spending his childhood playing pranks on neighbors and causing mischief, Dennis the Menace grows up to learn that his life should be better served helping people, rather than causing them problems.
(According to the 1975 movie Mitchell), He becomes a plain clothes detective that goes by the name Mitchell, thrown into a murder case, that may prove to be more mischief than little Dennis can handle.
Usually being an inexperienced DM is alright. Everyone needs to start somewhere. The problem is when you stubbornly refuse to improve.
While not a direct sequel, this story features most of the same cast from this story I posted a while ago. In case you are unable or unwilling to read that, this is the cast:
Me - Roleplayer, prefers more mundane aspects of world building in dnd. Lazy and still inexperienced ass.
Vince - Roleplayer, has a preference for the more outlandish side of DnD. Somehow we get along swimmingly. Cool, if a bit timid, guy. Did a one-shot I'll cover in another post.
Bernie - Loves clerics and optimizing. Probably fucked the goddess of luck with how crazy good his dice rolls are. Chill guy IRL, and our current DM at the time of writing.
Mike - Textbook embodiment of Chaotic "Neutral". Likes random things.
Bart - Unique character ideas, and not afraid to handicap his gameplay abilities for roleplay purposes. Even if said roleplay leads to party tension in-game.
Dennis - The DM in this story and the main source of trouble at the table. A garden-variety That Guy.
The story begins without me because I haven't actually joined the group at that point. Because of this, the following parts are based on testimonies by other players, Bernie, Vince and Bart.
It started in your stock fantasy tavern, where the present players were Bernie, who played a Half Orc Barbarian named Stoyan, Bart, who played a Human Revised Ranger, and Mike, who played a spellcaster of sorts (they're not sure, but their guess is that he was a sorcerer). They met each other, then were immediately roped in by a DMPC and railroaded into attempting a bank robbery in broad daylight. This despite their protests and all of them being either Neutral Good or Chaotic Good. From what they've told me, the exchange pretty much went along the lines of:
>DMPC: "Ok, I'm gonna need your help robbing a bank"
>Players: "What? Why?"
>DMPC: "Don't worry about that, just come with me."
>Players: "Uh, no? Who are you?"
>DM: "You go up to the roof of the tavern. Roll to jump over to the bank roof."
They went up to the roof, and needed to roll to leap from the tavern to the bank. When the players asked him what skill to use, the DM had no answer, and only after Bernie grabbed the PHB and show him the appropriate section did he ask for Acrobatics. Now, while Mike and Bart rolled high and got there safely, Bernie roll

A new grey organization known as the Chaos Legion has overtaken The Grove Republic with the cooperation of FujiJohn.
Both the Knights and the Redguard were able to restore their subs, but The Grove Republic is still under the boot of the Chaos Legion.

Hey mr Wilson
No love for future 6th MotY Dennis Schroder here? He's been beastly coming off the bench, scoring over 20pts 8 games in a row now. Averaging ~25/4/7/1 lately, quietly putting up top 30 numbers. OKC is 24-9 since Thanksgiving and Schroder has found his role as their 3rd head of the snake on offense.
That bodes well for him moving forward, hopefully minimizing the chance of a trade today. He's averaging 33mpg and making the most of them. The only obvious area he seems likely to regress is 3P% (46.4% in January).
I don't see why he can't keep this up, with a small dip in % and pts. Am I right, or am I right?
