A list of puns related to "Definitely Maybe Tour"
Sell me a new/used Berg in the plastic you use the most. Tell me why itβs the one I should bag.
so, before today, there wasnt one, it just redirected back to the Main Oasis page, but, because i was bored, slightly surprised there wasnt one already and so very, very sad, i have created it, it took me far too long :D, all i ask from you is to go and have a look and see if there are any mistakes that need fixing (Spelling errors, songs that need adding etc.), either fix them yourself if you know how to edit Wikipedia entries, or post in here and i will do it.
I used https://www.setlist.fm/stats/concert-map/oasis-bd6bd7e.html?tour=Definitely+Maybe for all the dates, i deliberately missed off the dates which were TV or Radio recordings and used the Gleneagles gig as the starting point, if there are any dates on the list that you know are wrong (and can prove it), please let me know.
If there is any colour you want to add to the opening Paragraphs, feel free to do so, though you should provide sources.

i'm actually speechless. she has a child in the hospital right now and she's already planned a massive trip next year. most parents would be focused entirely on that child, not even a vacation in the next year at least. and right now covid is having a massive spike. her children can't be vaccinated yet. is she actually fucking insane?? she played it off like "haha you guys think i'm crazy" yeah, but it's not the qUiRky kind, covid-leen. you're so detached and obsessed with yourself and being praised that you aren't thinking of your three children, two of which are BABIES who either are still in INTENSIVE CARE or just got out of it. jesus.
Wouldnβt make sense to tour 2 albums in the trilogy and just leave the last one out of it
Warped Tour had over 100 bands per show, less than 12 hours and every band got to play. They had 7 stages. $25-$50 per ticket. $250-$500 for this??? Definitely a fucking scam
Recently, Iβve finished books like Cows by Mathew Stokoe, The Story of The Eye by George Bataille, Dead Inside by Chandler Morrison among some others.
Iβve found I enjoy horror a fair amount, but I really prefer books like Cows that are just a surrealist mess of really gross and bad things.
Can you guys think of any books like these that I may enjoy? Iβm new here and new to reading in general, so I apologize if this is a bit silly.
I want to perfect my Spanish and live in Mexico but work in the U.S. .... Not all areas are dangerous and ppl are much more Compassionate and out going... Plus Mexico is much cheaper.. I have some family in Texas near on the border.. Anyways.. like I said Kids CAN be a Blessing but they're just not for me.. I deal with Anxiety & Depression plus I just simply don't want to raise someone the way the world is. I know myself and it'll only make my Mental health WORSE.
Not off to the hottest start
I am enjoying the Bi-Daily song discussion so much (thanks legend!) So I thought I would geek out even further by creating a new version of each album based on our collective ranking, and most importantly, to include the b-sides.
Important to say, this isnβt to say this is what oasis should have done! I love and treasure he albums as they are. Rather, itβs a hypothetical exercise for pure fun.
I have written a bunch of principles at the foot of this post that I have used to make this fair and fun, as opposed to getting into heavy technical debates (though please do feedback ways I can improve this to make it as sound as possible!)
Firstly, here is the order of the Definitely Maybe era tracks based on our collective scores:
Now, there is a one off complication with Definitely maybe: Do we include the tracks from the Whatever single? It really was released as a separate project! So for this reason, I have created a version that includes the three epic songs from that insane single, and another version without. And it makes quite the dramatic difference!
Revised version 1 of the Definitely Maybe, INCLUDING the songs from the Whatever single:
HOW BADASS IS THIS VERSION!!!! INSANE!!!!
Revised version 2 of the album EXCLUDING the Whatever songs as follows:
This film has been out a while, and I'd not even given it a thought. But last night I was at a loose end with nothing to do and it was on catch up so I thought "What the heck." and I watched it. I am genuinely surprised at how much I enjoyed this film. I spent the entire time trying to guess who the little girl's mum was. I laughed out loud at parts, I got a bit choked up at other bits... so yeah, I give this an enthusiastic thumbs up.
The comedy was good, Ryan Reynolds played a good part and didn't overact, and there was some real emotion in the movie.
Okay so I made a post about this is the main sub months ago and got very mixed reviews. People were either all in or offended on Taylor's behalf. I think you guys are way more open minded when it comes to good theories with research. So, here goes my analysis!
"I'm not your friend
Or anything, damn
You think that you're the man
I think, therefore, I am"
I believe this to be a direct reference to Taylor's song "The Man"
"Stop, what the hell are you talking about? Ha
Get my pretty name out of your mouth
We are not the same with or without"
Taylor has mentioned Billie a couple of times, most notably by calling her out as a potential next woman of the decade in her speech. If someone has a link to the speech, please drop it below!
"Don't talk 'bout me like how you might know how I feel
Top of the world, but your world isn't real
Your world's an ideal"
In the context of Gaylor, this is pretty self explanatory.
"I don't want press to put your name next to mine We're on different lines, so I
Wanna be nice enough, they don't call my bluff 'Cause I hate to find
Articles, articles, articles
Rather you remain unremarkable (Got a lotta)
Interviews, interviews, interviews
When they say your name, I just act confused"
Billie doesn't want to be labeled as just "the next Taylor Swift." She wants to distinguish herself from Taylor.
"I'm sorry
I don't think I caught your name
I'm sorry
I don't think I caught your name"
I think this is obvious sarcasm, which also explains the way she laughs after saying it.
