A list of puns related to "Deep Sleep"
Waking up during a deep sleep or REM sleep cycle is incredibly disruptive and can leave you feeling tired the whole day. Software such as Android's "Sleep" application are great for not waking you in a deep sleep, but they're not perfect.
We sleep in cycles during the night. As you become "well-rested", you become more aware and are awake in-between cycles. You don't always remember this for the same reason you don't remember dreams, but we all do it. During this time you'll notice the absence of white noise and wake up.
This, of course, presumes you're getting enough sleep to be in this state. In the first few hours of sleep, you won't be aware between cycles, and you'll need an alarm. Get 6+ hours regularly and you'll feel like a million bucks.
You can search for "Outlet timers" online, and they range from simply mechanical timers to home-automation systems.
The opposite is also true for people who do not sleep with white noise - turning ON a fan or white noise machine can be a gentle way to wake up in the morning.
Her crate is on the first floor. Our bedroom is on the second floor. It was truly impressive.
Just walked into my ferrets room and picked her up and for a straight minute she didnβt wake up from me picking her up petting her and saying her name. I read this is normal sometimes but Iβve never seen her do that so it threw me off. I just about lost my mind.
Hello all, I have some sleep issues that significantly impact my quality of life and I'm wondering if maybe they're related to adhd and could be solved somehow??
Backstory, I'm not officially diagnosed with ADHD but I'm pretty positive I have it. Plan to get assessed at some point but doctors and everything that goes long with that is difficult for me. I've always has sleep issues, but only have "data" about my sleep quality over the last almost 2 years I've had my smart watch.
Anyways....I dont get "deep sleep". I never feel rested or restored from sleep. If I wake up I never feel like I'm asleep again...I feel aware of being there and feel like I'm not asleep. I rarely get more than 30mins of 'deep sleep" according to my watch, and often times it is much less! I'm currently taking lithium orotate (5mg) and a ZMA supplement before bed and tracking my sleep data in a spreadsheet to see if there is any difference over the course of time. It's been about a month and there has been no change.
I've tried everything short of prescription sleep meds (not interested in those anyways) and nothing helps. I dont know if these sleep issues are common with adhd or related in some way or if anyone has any suggestions to increase deep sleep?? But I have tried everything in the last 2 years and nothing has shown improvement in the data or how I feel. Thanks in advance. I'm going to try to figure out how to attach my sleep data from last night.

I just dream. And dream and dream and dream. If I'm lucky, I could maybe get 30-1 hour of light/deep sleep before entering REM in the first phases of the night every few nights or so. If I'm lucky. After that, it's just pure dreams. Honestly I love dreaming, it's so pleasant, but man I need that deep sleep. I need to wake up in the morning not knowing I'm even a human being because my sleep was so deep that it recharged me to 100%. I think the years of drug abuse, nocturia, 1.5 years of high dose iodine (2.5-10mg), chronic pain, and recent anxiety have just killed my ability to enter dream sleep. My goal in life is now to just bring it back. I could be a hobo out on the streets but if I'm sleep GOOD, then everything would be gravy.
Iβve used the Oura Ring since May 2021 and recently upgraded to Gen 3. I hoped to see improvement in my deep sleep metric with the new and improved sensors but Iβm still only showing 16 minutes a night on average. My other sleep metrics are optimal and I generally feel rested the next day. Iβm just curious if anyone else experiences this? As a follow-up, do you have any recommendations for inducing deep sleep?

I had to learn that the hard way but Iβm glad I finally leaned it. A goodnight sleep (and good mental health) is worth all the profits in this market.
I used to be a daily futures trader and stress really caught up to me. Slowly but surely I started leaning more towards staking and DeFi after I saw how much calmer it can be.
Right now 70% of my portfolio is in DeFi. Got bags of CRV (I think itβs genuinely the best in the DeFi space) and got into BitDAO since they have a massive treasury and they keep investing it into multiple DeFi projects.
DeFi might seem slower than trading but itβs consistent and it racks up quick. Would advise anyone to get a taste of DeFi.
Iβm on elimination diet but Iβm not sure if there are certain food types thatβs affecting my sleep quality like Lectins/ rice? Or the quantity of food?
Currently on No Gluten, Soy, Sugar, Caffeine + Low Histamine diet.
Unfortunately, we've forgotten how to do the rest, and that's why so many bodies of hypothermia victims are found wedged in tight spaces.
While in deep sleep, there is no perception of the world, no memory, no sense of personal identity. Although it is a fleeting state, can it be considered evidence of non-self?
I only get around 1hr no matter the score. I'm curious what other people get
About 18 months ago I purchased my wife a 2020 Escape Titanium. I had one as a rental and enjoyed it, found a good deal at the dealer where I purchased my F150 and for the most part, my wife enjoyed it until a few months back.
First she experienced constant deep sleep mode alerts on the Ford Pass app. It never caused any issues except for being unable to remote start or any other remote features on the app. She drive 45 minutes each way to work but still happens (figured that should be long enough to charge the battery). Our last oil change I asked the dealer to look at it and they said nothing is wrong.
Second, we had a good sized snowstorm in NH a week ago (about 5 inches). During her commute she got an error warning of a malfunction in AWD and there was a reduction in power (there was a noticeable reduction in power). The error keep occurring for the next 6 days before we traded in the Escape. I did call the dealer to ask if I should bring it in sooner but they said just wait until you appointment in a few days.
We had an appointment to get it fixed but decided to upgrade to an Edge instead. We havenβt lost faith in Ford, yet, mostly as my F150 has been perfect. However, Iβm not going to be so forgiving if the Edge has major issues too. Surprisingly, the trade offer was good and rebates/discounts on Edge was good too so it was a minor bump in expense for us.
Just to clarify, Iβm not bashing Ford or the Escape, just curious if anyone else experienced this while also giving people some information to decide how they want to use. I am a fan of Ford and assume our Escape was built on a Friday on someone last day (a.k.a. A lemon). I hope this is an isolated issue that most never experience.
So I know every new parent checks if their newborn is still breathing.. but my little lady scares the shit out of me every morning. At night, she is fussy all the time, sleeps very light. But in the morning, around 9:00 untill 11:00β¦ she impersonates a doll!! Barely any movement on the chest, almost no air out of her mouth. She is so quiet and has a very serene look on her face, but want to wake her so bad to check.. but also donβt, because of the peace. Am I the only one?
