A list of puns related to "Daylight saving time in Morocco"
The EU tried and failed to abolish it, but I'd love to hear the person on the streets views about it. The pros the cons? Do those pros and cons change as you go up the country etc..
I live in North Texas. Before the switch it seemed like the sun was setting until 8:30pm or almost 9pm. Now it's completely dark outside at 6:30 pm and the moon is out. Why does it feel like there's such a big change over only an hours gain?
Daylight saving time is when the time changes by one hour twice a year.
Sooooooo, I am in Canada and last night Daylight Savings time began. But my Switch's clock didn't transfer over. I realized that my Switch (while in the correct timezone) thought I was located in a different city (in a region that does not do daylight savings time). Realizing the mistake I changed my location today, and (in so doing) the time.
I have never done the stalk market before. I am a pretty new player (I started on the summer solstice, but am a history grad student, so haven't played a ton yet) and am still building inclines, moving houses, etc. But I held off and saved up a quarter of a million bells, then put them all on the stalk market this past weekend.
Today someone on reddit said that they had a very high sell rate, so I went to pick them up from the vault room in my house... to find them all rotted! My fixing the daylight saving time issue this morning accidentally registered as time traveling (which I did not do intentionally) and all my money is gone.
I know it isn't that many bells in the long run - but it stings. Especially since I am a bit pecuniarily strained with island building costs and those of the new update.
I feel myself as Shakespears' Antonio. A renaissance merchant (well, a noble investor really) waiting for his ship to come in, only to find out that it has sunk.
TLDR Moral of the story: be wary when putting finances into stocks or stalks. Also: our characters and villagers need to implement some of the social safety nets that the Great Depression taught us.
Hi all,
to my disappointing surprise I noticed my scenes are not adjusting to us EU hooligans tweaking our time twice a year.
Is this for a reason?
All my scenes that used to bring us comfort switching stuff on- and off at times we set meticulously, are now all off a full hour!
Useless
So my question is: are you kidding me?
To prevent me flashing the Sonoff HW into another devices, another question I have is; What is my best way forward from here if I want to stick using their chinese server to be aware of my home automation?
The best I can think of is to add the word "SUMMERTIME" to the names of my current scenes and copy these with adjusted times and name these with "WINTERTIME" in the names.
Or is there a better workaround you can let me have?
Standard time is mostly during the winter (dark by 6 pm)
Daylight savings is mostly summer.
When raids were first introduced, they lasted until 8:30 here in the United States. When Daylight Savings Time ended in the fall, raids began to end at 7:30 instead. Last year when DST returned, many assumed our original raid hours would come back too. Sadly, this did not happen and raids have been ending at 7:30 ever since that original change.
Though raids end at 7:30, that's an extreme and generally raiding for the day is wrapped up before 7. This has always been too early for those who work. If they want to raid, they have to go straight from work to raiding without time to eat or maybe go home for a little bit. It's also very early considering the sun stays out until 9-10 during much of the summer.
With this Legendary Lunch Hour event coming next week, Niantic is showing they're willing to take a look at the availability of raids. Let's hope they also revisit the daily raid hours and extend them further into the evening like they originally were.
Like for real! Most of us are not dependent on daylight for our jobs. When the time goes one hour ahead, my sleep schedule gets messed up. My kid fights me wicked at bedtime since heβs not sleepy. Then in morning he throws tantrum because he wants to sleep more. Even some dogs give their humans hard time. We shouldβve stopped doing this crap years ago.
Title. Of course the correct time is stated in the in-game news, but since Niantic hasn't figured out how to write the local time in the news yet, and instead refers to the US time plus GMT difference, there you go :)
Edit: also remember to do your trainer and team leader battles before the event ends to get the extra rewards!
Edit 2: if anyone is reading now, the event officially ended... R.I.P. shiny Machop.
Have a good one.
