A list of puns related to "David Rose (Schitt's Creek)"
Schittβs Creek is one of my favourite shows :] Currently on my second run of it! I relate so heavily to David and my personal head cannon is that heβs also on the spectrum.
Heβs had issues with holding down friendships and relationships in the past (how his previous relationships before Patrick had only lasted 4 months and his βfriendsβ are not around when Alexis asked him at the beginning of the show. Heβs only shown to enjoy being friends with Stevie but itβs a rocky friendship)
Iβve noticed that he sometimes stims when heβs in a stressful situation, looking around the room, uncomfortable stepping, wide finger stretches. Specifically in the episode when the teenagers were stealing from Rose Apothecary, after they left he shakes his whole body and flaps his hands a lil (something I do!! :])
I relate to the way that he converses with people, often explaining the typical βrulesβ of a conversation aloud while talking as itβs something I do too (stuff like βwell thatβs what Iβm supposed to be saying right nowβ etc). Heβs expressed that he finds it difficult to trust people and also struggles with compromising and working together with others.
David also has a distinct sense of style, often wearing comfy loose fit clothing thatβs often black and white. He can be direct with people sometimes, especially with Alexis. Heβs not too fond of physical touch or affection, and often looks uncomfortable in hugs.
Does anyone else relate to him? :]
29M, 5'11 - Basically title but not really. I don't want to dress exactly like him, but I want to wear skirts and other flowwy, traditionally feminine styles but with masculine cuts, patterns, or colors. I've found a few things at H&M but a lot of it just doesn't look the way I want on my body.
Does anyone have any recommendations for where I can find skirts, kimonos, shawls, long shirts, dresses, etc that ARE made for a man's body and AREN'T expensive?
Honestly everyone in Schitt's Creek is so good in their role that it's hard to pick a favourite but Dan Levy has just been a step above everyone else for me. He turns what could have been a stereotypical flamboyant gay character into someone multidimensional character with absolutely impeccable comic timing. His delivery and facial expressions fucking kill me, and he really brought it for his dramatic scenes with Patrick too.
Just a phenomenal performance overall.
Although Patrick was the absolute perfect balance/opposite of David, he was certainly too good for David.
Patrick was funny, caring, patient and always understanding.
David was rude, spoiled, always visibly disgusted and looked down at people.
I know they did some growing, but that was in the last few episodes of the final season, where it seemed like they were trying to make them seem like less of a dick than they were.
Hi all! Iβm hoping to knit a sweater like any of Davidβs iconic sweaters on Schittβs Creek and canβt find a pattern to save my life! I was particularly looking for the one with lightening bolts around the neck line but literally any David sweater would be awesome. If anyone knows about any places that might have a pattern like that, let me know! Alternatively, and sites or apps that help with making pattern charts would help so I could create one!
I recently finished the show and there's just one thing that I'm left wondering: how is David going to spend the rest of his life (without his family) in Schitts creek? Neither he nor Patrick seem to have any friends in town besides Stevie. I can't help but wonder if Schitts creek might get boring for him after a while.
I'm not suggesting that he move to New York though. Him saying he wanted to show his friends that 'he won' broke my heart.
