We're about to have the house painted in a dark color (navy blue, white trim) and I'm second-guessing having all four sides done in that color. A lot of houses in our neighborhood have the front done in colors and the sides and back done in a neutral (think this is because the fronts of our houses have multiple materials - board+bat, decorative wood trim, brick, etc. 1950s "cinderella" homes). The sides and back are just stucco. I'm wondering if doing a dark color on the stucco - with the sun shining on those sides for most of the day in summer - will affect how hot the inside of the house gets? Anyone with their house painted in a dark color notice a difference? Does the house feel hotter in summer? are you running AC more? Or am I just being paranoid?
[For those who are opposed to painting stucco: I hear you, but pretty much all stucco homes here are painted.]

Acting and camera work were actually good. It wasn't campy whatsoever. Characters kinda pissed me off a couple times with stupid decisions, but that's typical of people and horror anyhow.
Honestly, I think it's the best Big Foot film I've watched. I know that isn't saying much given I can't think of a good one at the moment.
Pretty good entertainment and worth a watch if you like found footage creature features in the woods.

EDIT 5: Supermassive has apparently seen this post, because they've renamed and replaced the screenshots on The Dark Pictures website, also changing their order. However, several people can back me up that these links were valid and how the screenshots were named when the post was first made. Supermassive changing their names so quickly means that they were not trying to mislead us with the original screenshot names and actually made a mistake, so... HEAVY SPOILERS AHEAD!
You can open the screenshots on the Dark Pictures website for House of Ashes; it got some new screenshots last week. Most of them have normal names (each name preceded by the word "Inked"), but this one https://thedarkpicturesprod.blob.core.windows.net/media/Default/HouseOfAshes/gallery/Inkedvampire_Whathappened_CamRU_TempDoor_Nick_AF_LI_02-min.jpg references a "vampire" (it might be the trailer scene where Nick sees some unidentified feet, is that what happened to the Akkadians?)
And this one https://thedarkpicturesprod.blob.core.windows.net/media/Default/HouseOfAshes/gallery/InkedCursed_Balathutorchdeath_348_LI-min.jpg apparently reveals a character named Balathu, who seems to be from the prologue. Balathu does not seem to be a common name, but Balatu was a Babylonian king. Could be another instance of Supermassive slightly changing historical names.
The other new screenshots have similar yet less spoiler-y names, such as "Hush", "Ambush", "Mausoleum", and "Alone_EmergeFromRubble". What do you think? Is this a mistaken reveal by Supermassive or are we being intentionally misled?

EDIT 2: The first word could be the names of the chapters. The chapter at Target LZ is "Ambush", the chapter with Nick and Jason in the sand caverns is "Hush", the prologue is "Cursed", the chapter where Rachel rappels down is "Mausoleum" (she's gonna discover some bones!)

Irish mythology is so rich and beautiful that it's a crying shame that more of them aren't explored in movies but lucky for us we have producer/director Tomm Moore whose amazing animated films capture these faerie tales with all the magic and enchantment you could hope for.
Song of the Sea itself tells the wonderful story of a young boy on what could be considered a "Heroes Journey" who must discover the secret behind his mute sister Saoirse and save her life. If you don't fall in love with this pair you should seek help from a doctor as you have no heart.
The wonder and craftsmanship behind this film are simply stellar and Tomm More and company prove that this style of animation is still relevant and for some stories even more preferable. If you want to be whisked away on a magical adventure that will stir the heart and awaken your youth then check out Song of the Sea as not only is a great and heart-warming story it's a work of art.
