A list of puns related to "Danny Levi"
Really as long as it has Danny trying to be 'helpful' that would work.
Spoilers for Survivor Season 21: Nicaragua and other seasons.
39 Days
20 Players
2 Quitters - wait, what?
Quitting in Survivor is considered one of the ultimate disgraces. Out of thousand of applications, only a limited number of players are selected (between zero and twenty new contestants, depending on the season). Many Survivor players apply for years before being selected to compete on the show, and many more hopefuls never receive their coveted interview. Naturally, this creates quite a bit of bitterness when people choose to leave the game without being voted out. Jeff Probst, the show's host and one of the executive producers, has stated that people who quit the game will never be asked to return.
But we're getting ahead of ourselves -- first, the question we have to answer is...
What is Survivor?
If you're familiar with the show or have ready any of u/Unqualif1ed's Survivor writeups, you can safely skip this section.
Survivor is a reality TV game show where contestants are taken to a remote location and split up into teams, called tribes. For the first portion of the game, the tribes compete in challenges together to receive creature comforts for their camps or immunity that prevents them from being voted out of the game. The losing tribe(s) attend Tribal Council, where they vote out one of their tribe members. About halfway through the game, the tribes become one; at that point, the players compete individually for the chance at immunity. Shortly after the tribes merge, the players who are voted out become a part of the jury, who eventually cast votes to determine who wins the million-dollar prize money. There are more twists and turns that come into play, but none are relevant to this particular write-up.
Winners Never Quit and Quitters Never Win
Across Survivor's 41 seasons, only sixteen people have quit. Many if not most of these quits are considered by the fandom to be reasonable (one contestant left to be with her dying mother before she passed), though some of only become reasonable in hindsight (like when the fandom learned that a player planned to cut off her own finger so she could be medically evacuated after quitting Zoloft cold turkey to be on Survivor). One of these reaso

####1. Bensley - Leaving / Debonair [mau5trap] Recommended if you like: Justin Hawkes, Camo & Krooked, Royalston
I might have a (not necessarily inaccurate) reputation to favour the danceable, heavier side of DnB here, but one thing that is at least just as high on my favourability scale are releases that manage to convey emotion effectively or are really creative in some way. This one managed to do both.
Little bit of backstory first. At my first Let It Roll, in 2017, I went to watch the DnB step championship tournament during the day and in one of the final rounds they used a track that was just so cool and so weird I just had to record it. That track was Slither by Bensley. Since I was still very much at the beginning of my neverending DnB journey, I had no idea who he was or what his story is, but what I did know was that this tune slapped. Still does, of course. However, his story begins much earlier.
Bensley, real name Peter Bennett, fake name Captain Canada, is a producer from Toronto, yes the one in Ontario, yes the one in Canada. With great inspirations like Charlie Parker, Paul Desmond from the Dave Brubeck Quartet and Grandpa Bennett himself, he played the big ol' saxophone not just a lot, but also so well that he apparently toured across Ontario and won a few awards for it. He was already dipping his feet into Dubstep production at one point, but when he attended his first music festival in 2011, the lik

Alright folks, it's been a very competitive nomination round, but after 400+ entries, countless votes, multiple ties, and several late surges, we've finalized the ballot for the /r/DCcomics Best of 2021 Awards. We selected 5-6 nominees for each category, but some contests were so tight that we had to let in a 7th or even 8th nominee.
The ballot itself will be posted some time tomorrow, when I get around to making it. We'll keep it open for about a week. Until then, feel free to make predictions or use this as a guide to catch up on reading. In January, we'll announce the winners. January's Character of the Month will go to the top vote-getter in the Best New Character category in the nomination thread.
If your favorite creator or book didn't get nominated, well there's only one explanation. Feel free to use the r/dccomicscirclejerk salt thread. Consider using that, instead of harassing me with hate mail (yes, that happened) or making 80+ Google accounts to stuff the ballot box (also happened).
