Daniel Henchman Puns

In "The Accountant" with Ben Affleck, the bald, bearded bad guy gets killed twice by Bens character in the movie. Once on the farm, then once in a flashback scene in front of the Ravenite club. It makes me wonder if the editors did this on purpose as an easter egg sort of deal or if they just didnt think anyone would notice.

1987's "The Living Daylights" is quite beautiful and elegant compared to lots of 007 films. It really capitalizes on the "Professional British spy agency feeling" this time unlike any others I previously recall.

We've got major powers competing for power as per usual, with our new actor for James Bond (Timothy Dalton) stepping up to the plate effortlessly. It really felt like he was born for the role of 007, and he plays it with ease, keeping the qualities we like about past portrayals like Sean Connery's confidence, charm and care free attitude, George Lazenby's suave and Roger Moore's fun campiness. What I like most about him is that he is the stepping stone for much later Daniel Craig's Bond. Dalton is clever, serious and a real spy who takes his job seriously without conforming to the questionable directions given by his superiors.

Desmond Llewelyn returns as Q, Walter Gotell returns for his last appearance and quick cameo of General Gogol, and unfortunately Lois Maxwell was replaced as Miss Moneypenny, and the new actor was Caroline Bliss, who, unfortunately was rather unremarkable in comparison. This entry felt like the full circle being completed, but also a new beginning for 007 entirely. The score was on point, the action and explosions were all there, the stunts were great. This one's got it all, and is definitely rewatch material. The cast, the drama and the relationships made it really stand out.

It's not too over the top dramatically, but I appreciated the relationships shown with Bond & Saunders (Thomas Wheatley), as well as our new Bond Girl Kara Milovy (Maryam d'Abo) who had excellent chemistry with James. Felix Leiter returns briefly, and Art Malik as Kamran Shah was especially a show stealer. It was a much more serious tone compared to the Moore era, however camp was still there, and included much more gracefully and cleverly. Where previous franchise entry "A View to a Kill" (1985) often made you roll your eyes and say "Really . . . ?", TLD makes you say "Wow, that was smart". The stupidest scene was the cello sledding, but the cello was the basis for many funny moments so I'm not bothered.

The reason I am not giving it a perfect score is for a couple issues; the plot slowly became confusing and difficult to follow, the villains General Georgi Koskov & Brad Whitaker were somewhat forgettable, albeit the latter was a nice nod to "The Man with the Golden Gun" (1974). Since I got Fugu. She's leveling the playing field with her unique schemes to get money and reduce heat without losing a resource. I can bet she will become the most memorable henchman in the future since Eli Sr. and Young Jubei. But also, with her unique schemes that can access when you employ her only, Fugu will monopolize her henchmen seats with only old man Jubei being her competition. I am thinking another fun when you playing Evil Genius is you can employ the difference unique henchmen and enjoying a difference playstyle and it was kinda bored if we employ only Jubei and Fugu in every replay.

So I propose the idea of making each henchmen have their own unique schemes and passive skill that support Evil Genius they served. Here what I have in mind.

• Eli Baracuda Jr. should have his own 'protection racket' scheme since he was a gangster boss and since he is your all rounder right hand man frontline so he should have another scheme involving human resource management. His another schemes are given you a handful of tier 1 minions in every class since his old occupation make him have his own networks and can call his own homies to support you. His passive is his inherited father ability on dance floor. That's mean when you put him in the stage show he will empower his inner disco spirit and doing an awesome disco party attract any tourists and agents in large area even the invading soldiers, sapping a massive resolve. With the cost of his smart, of course.

• Old Man Jubei is the beast in his own so I think there is no point to making a schemes for him. But being an old master who served many EGs Jubei can boosted the muscle minions training slightly faster. The muscle minion who finished training will also have a stat boost better than the normal one.

• IRIS is your own system admin and adjutant. So her passive should involved boosting the base defense like traps, door and prison. Traps and doors are harder to hack, prison can hold the prisoners better and the brainwash and interrogation chair give the players a better result. Her unique schemes is contract Dr. Naomi Saoyama for a unique workforce, a robo-minions. The robo-minions cannot be train and only locked in worker class but their stat are better than normal minions, don't require sleep, eat or rest morale and they are hit hard as the guards. But they explode when they died and can set the base on fire.

• Janet is almost useless as the starter henchmen. So I think she need a better passiv

Despite WFT not being in attendance for Fields' second pro day, as I was taking in some of the clips I was fascinated... and it had nothing to do with what Fields was doing on the field.

There's Shanahan at the center of it all. Chopping it up with Fields, shooting the shit with Josh McDaniels. There's Ryan Day grinning like an idiot with Pat Shurmur flashing some taco meat.

At this point in the process the attendance and presence teams choose to deploy means a lot more than actually watching Fields and the scripted throws. It's also a major opportunity for Ryan Day to stroke his NFL boner a bit -- ultimately still great for the program if your Ohio State, but you can tell this guy personally intrigued by the next level.

The point being, there are so many underlying stories and gamesmanship going on with the important pro days, it's fascinating to see it all play out.

There's no way around the fact that Washington has let some of the best coaches currently in the NFL walk out the door in a really short period of time. LaFleur strikes me as an annoying dweeb and does have a GOAT caliber QB to lean on, but he's won nearly 80% of his games. Safe to say we're all equally stung by how successful McVay and Shanahan have been, as they were so obviously talented in their roles with the then Redskins.

The best feeling of the offseason and this past season has not only been Rivera's new leadership but also how they have developed a brain trust in the front office. Similar to how the Dodgers employed multiple former GMs at once around 2016 (farhan zaidi, alex anthopoulos, josh byrnes) the WFT has added three former GMs this offseason. It something as a fan I didn't think I could ever be with this team again -- excited about the coaches and fo after being kicked in nuts so many times.

Typically the notion of bringing in that many strong voices into a front office can be volatile. Too many cheifs and not enough indians. However, with the right group, if a strong leader like Andrew Friedman or Ron Rivera can get that group to coalesce -- now the front office can be weaponized by taking on a risk other teams might not.

I know a lot of you guys are on this stuff so anyone got specific details on which QB pro days WFT has gone to. Seems like the Patriots are outstanding at this for all positions not just

Took some notes and came up with a handful of Cobra Kai S4 Predictions

• [ ] Johnny and Daniel take turns teaching the students. Mixing in offensive and defensive techniques. There are many unconventional lessons and locations they train in. It’s provides for a lot of comic relief and arguments.

• [ ] In one episode, Johnny takes the Miyagi students to a junk yard to train, while Daniel takes the Eagle Dang students to the forest.

• [ ] Sam and Miguel grow closer and work to help Daniel and Johnny become more collaborative.

• [ ] Miguel works on Johnny and Sam works on Daniel. They parent trap them and force them to work together on several occasions.

• [ ] Hawk and Moon get back together

• [ ] Yasmine and Dimitri become an “official” couple.

• [ ] Hawk changes the color of his Mohawk to white and black. Symbolizing the ying and yang of Johnny and Daniels new dojo.

• [ ] Sam and Johnny have a moment, where she apologizes for the hit in run in S1. He helps her become a “badass” by teaching her a new offensive move.

• [ ] Johnny and Carmen continue to date, Miguel has mixed feelings about it, but ultimately warms up to the idea of them dating.

• [ ] Daniel and Johnny eventually end up fighting over teaching techniques and mid season they separate, but ultimately they come together before the All Valley. Realizing that they are not so different and that they need each other to beat Cobra Kai.

• [ ] The Cobras go on missions for Kreese, led by Tory and Robby. Robby and Tory continue to bond and find they have more and more in common.

• [ ] Robby uses his skills in stealing to break into Miyagi Do. He is conflicted at first, but after seeing Johnny and Miguel training steals one of the scrolls for Kreese.

• [ ] Kyler plants the hidden scroll in Hawks bag and sets him up, this is found by Daniel, causing distrust and anger among the other students. They begin to think Hawk is a spy for Cobra Kai.

• [ ] Kreese has his Cobra Kai students compete in another Coyote Creek tournament, Robbie wins, being named “King Cobra.” Everyone cheers and Tory is especially impressed.

• [ ] Robby finds a photo of Betsy in Kreese’s office. He asks about her, and surprisingly Kreese tells him. We see a rare vulner

The funeral director was asking us what we think Mum should wear in her casket.

Mum always loved to wear sarongs (fabric wraps that go around the torso and drape downward a bit like a long skirt would), so my uncle suggested that she wear a sarong in there.

The funeral director looked a bit confused, as did some of our family members, to which my uncle added:

"What's sarong with that?"

I started laughing like an idiot. He was proud of it too. The funeral director was rather shocked. We assured her, and our more proper relatives, that Mum would've absolutely loved the joke (which is very true).

His delivery was perfect. I'll never forget the risk he took. We sometimes recall the moment as a way help cushion the blows of the grieving process.

We return to WrestleMania following Night One, featuring all the matches of SmackDown as well as The Undertaker’s Farewell Ceremony. Now for Night Two, and this time it’s Raw’s turn. Lets begin:

AJ Styles and Omos defeat The Hurt Business (c) to win the Raw Tag Team Championships

After losing his Intercontinental Championship at the hands of Sami Zayn, AJ Styles would start to target Otis, after he defeated The Miz at SummerSlam to end their rivalry. Styles injures Tucker after Otis denies him a shot to challenge for his Money in the Bank briefcase, leading to Otis eventually giving him the match. Styles wins that, and now has the briefcase in hand. He would eventually start to target Drew McIntyre, and announces his cash in ahead of time in the build to TLC. He says he wants Drew to have a fair shake, since he thinks it’s only fair. After all, no way he could even compete with The Phenomenal One when he’s not ready. In their TLC Match, Styles would win with the help of the debuting Omos. AJ Styles is your new WWE Champion. He would introduce his new henchman on the Raw after, who attacks Drew McIntyre when he comes out.

Drew gets his rematch at the Royal Rumble, after Hulk Hogan books it on Legends Night. Hogan says he asked for one last favour from the boss, and he’s using it on who he believes to be the best wrestler alive right now, Drew McIntyre. McIntyre overcomes Omos and manages to regain his WWE Championship, making him a three time champion. Afterwards, AJ fails to regain the title in the Elimination Chamber match, and sets his sights on a new prize. Styles wants to complete the Grand Slam, and all that’s left is the Tag Titles. So with a bit of help from Adam Pearce’s Assistant in Order, Joseph Parks, Styles manages to get a match with The Hurt Business for the Raw Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania. Cedric and Shelton aren’t too happy, and attack Styles, but Omos makes the save. Omos hits a Big Boot on Shelton, which takes him out of action until Mania. In the mean time, Styles defeats Cedric on Raw. At the show, Omos puts in an impressive first performance, combining a Chokeslam with a Phenomenal Forearm onto Shelton to win the match.

When L Ron died, his literal henchman David Miscaviege took over and changed scientology from a wacky new age sci fi group into a militarized high-control cult that now focuses primarily on punishment and antisocial behavior.

What is it with this pattern? I want to understand it at the sociological level. There’s got to be something to this. For some reason, folks who are evil, controlling and manipulative always position themselves to take over, yet none of them ever started a group themselves.

You officially hit rock bottom

Started a new campaign two weeks ago. Level 4 converting the old 4e Gloomwrought and Beyond setting to 5e.

Most of us have been gaming together for a lot of time. Oldest player, 6 years. The problem player for this session has been with us about 8 months and usually has not been too much a problem, though he can sit there and down half a fifth of Jack Daniels and appear unfazed. Something that would have my stomach pumped, but each his own. As long as you can handle it, I am okay.

First session, one of the smuggler characters manages to find a deed in a pawn shop in the Merchant's Plaza to a piece of land out in The Skins (a massive, dangerous swamp the surrounds the metropolis of Gloomwrought). Property has a tower that has been sinking in the mire and has been looted and occupied by various things over the last two centuries.

My problem player did not show up for this first session of the new campaign as he had to work. No worries.

I had ended the last session right before combat - with the previous owner in the crypts (now a wright) along with the skeletal remains of his wife and daughter, so I could not just let some unknown pop in behind them.

So, rather than have him sit there, I let him control the skeletons.

Party wins. Even though the wright has +3 Scale Mail and a + 2 Great Sword (both not usable in some areas because these are standard issue to the Deathless Watch, a kind of police force/ martial order in Gloomwrought) , he rolls like crap. Oh wells. The tower is officially cleared out.

No worries. No problems.

But, for some reason, dude started hitting the Jack Daniels heavy after that. Heavier than usual.

First thing was his treatment (and the party's) treatment of the NPC cleric. This cleric had been found out in the swamps left for dead by the party. Would have had no problem sticking with the party as a henchman. His original group (which composed of several higher levels - he was just there for extra heals and labor) had tried to loot hatchling dragon skeletons from further in the swamps. Things that if reanimated make expensive pets for noble casters and come at a premium. They did not figure there was a skeletal shadow adult green dragon and he got hit with fear and ran as it killed his party. He then ran through the swamps and was ambushed by vegipygmies and left for dead until the party found them.

Cleric agreed to help them clear the tower, and he did, though he did go down a time or two.
