A list of puns related to "DTF (rap duo)"
Ik this is a zilla sub but I prefer sos 10x more and even tho him & 69 have some beef I feel like their style wouldβve fit so perfectly together
Eric B and Rakim
Gang Starr
OutKast
Mobb Deep
I saw a listing for a music festival they are playing at, and I did a double take when I saw the name. I guess the negative association with the name is not hurting them.
Edit: I am going to put the link in a comment because it is coming up with a gross thumbnail in the original post.
I was hanging out with a friend of a friend, he was playing video games in my dorm, I was laying on the floor in front of him in my extra tight yoga joggers, with my hair and everything really done up (I was really attracted to him)! He said he had to take a piss, I looked at him, opened my mouth and stuck out my tongue really playfully and gave him a little wink and said βokay, Iβm thirstyβ and he got up said he could grab me something from the fridge after he got back π€£ I was mortified lol
CD was out sometime between 1995-1999 for sure. Two male members, looked Latino to me (but not Black). Cover image was a photo (without obvious effects) of both posed sitting on a sofa looking chill like a family photo (very different from style of the time). Possibly a window behind them.
I kept seeing it as a "featured album" in the rap section of a record store. It was supposed to be a very good alternative rap group, but I never got around to buying it before it was gone (or I moved or something). Any clues?
UPDATE: I saw it in a record store in Chicago. I have searched 90s rap albums on Wikipedia. It was NOT one of the following groups: Gangstarr, Proper Dos, The Baker Boyz, Micranots, CunninLynguists, Lighter Shade of Brown, or ... (I will continue to update this list to save readers time)
It's not run the jewel
This duo is not active anymore, I think at least one of them made a solo carrier.
The racing game was a Japanese one I believe.
And I think the duo, or at least one of them, made an narrative rap album which tell the story of a man hired by a rich man which sounded like he had a monocle and then the rich guy was in fact trying to pin something on him. Something about drug I think.
It has been my white whale for few month now
Choose wisely
I used to frequent Reckless Records, a shop in Chicago. I recall seeing a CD I always meant to buy but didn't. Can you help me find it?
CD was out sometime between 1995-1999 for sure. Two male members, looked Latino to me (but not Black). Cover image was both posed sitting on a sofa looking chill like a family photo (very different from style of the time). Possibly a window behind them. Looked something like a Simon and Garfunkel album, the least hip hop I have ever seen (which is why it caught my attention in the rap section).
I kept seeing it as a "featured album" in the rap section of a record store. Although it was labelled as rap and in the rap section, it had a very 90s alt rock look to it. It was supposed to be a very good alternative rap group, but I never got around to buying it before it was gone (or I moved or something). Any clues?
