Cornish Pasty Association Puns

Please help... Haven't found any bakery/cafe that does a decent pasty as yet! Thanks in advance

Hiya, hope you're all good. Got a craving for a Cornish style pasty since coming back from St Ives, any recommendations of good pasty shops in London would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I grew up in Wisconsin and there was this cornish pasty shop near my grandmother's home and every time I went to visit her I always looked forward to getting the pasties. I always ordered what they called an italian pasty, but there wasn't really anything italian about it. I remember it had potato (might have been rutabaga, kid me probably didnt know the difference), carrots, onion, seasoning, and I don't remember what meat but I think it was chicken or turkey, I don't remember beef.

Anyone know of any place in Atlanta where I can get me some good pasties to relive my childhood favorite food?

Edit:

The similarities are striking.

Yo! I'm typing this out while I wait for my cheap pasty to heat up. It's gonna be a good lunch and I cannot wait, honestly!

I'm also kinda skiving work while I learn Patrice Rushen's "Forget Me Nots" on bass - I really should be working but I'm dealing with a bit of burnout right now and I'm struggling to keep the energy or focus up enough! A little about me - I'm super into horror films, I love a long-form podcast (preferably about True Crime, but I'll take Paranormal if it's going!) but I'm super picky with them because a lot of podcasts are just, like, god-awful.

I love listening to and playing music - I play guitar mainly but am getting back into learning bass. I'm going to see The Darkness in a few weeks, and I'm unbelievably excited; they're always a great show!

I work full-time as a web developer and freelance as a writer. It's a fine enough job, but it's been tricky recently unfortunately! I'm going through a bit of a change in my life lately. Maybe it's a quarter-life crisis? Either way - drop me a line!!!

I’d like to try this British pastry, anyone know where I can get it?

I used to be at uni in Cornwall and really loved the area and the people. However, I got a lot of flack for not liking pastys, which at the risk of being stoned to death, I loathe. Typical fillings, pastry type, smell, everything.

I got to thinking, calzones are basically just pastys from Italy but are in my opinion much better. I never saw a single place selling them even in Truro or Falmouth. I wonder if they would catch on, especially if marketed as pastys or am I just idly dreaming?

My husband is hungover and nostalgic for British comfort food.
