A list of puns related to "Cooking Channel"
Helloo everyone!
I wrote this post because I want to know the cooking channels than helped you understand and enjoy cooking the most.
For me a good cooking channel is one where they explain their recipes so that even the most unknowledgeable people can understand and that put out good, reliable recipes that will not come out badly because they left out something important that you were supposed to do.
I am a beginner and I really want to learn more. Cooking is very interesting to me and I feel very privileged that I can think about cooking as an art form.
Most well-written, detailed recipes turn out well for me but i want to avoid the frustration of something not turning out because the recipes are not shared or explained correctly.
An obvious example of this is the Tasty channel, where i feel like they try to make the videos short and simple, but they just end up leaving out crucial information, so the final product never turns out like theirs.
Thank you in advance and I hope all your recipes turn out well! :)
I am pretty sick of the heavily edited super enthusiastic YouTube personalities. I know that's the market so I can't blame em. But hard to find myself watching most of them.
There's plenty of ok-good ones, but the only one I really enjoy is Kenji's. Am I missing out or is his GoPro channel just a diamond in the rough?
Recently my feed has been so dry, I really miss the old Bon appetite videos and was always a fan of the worth it series too.
But now I just donβt really know what to watch has anyone got any recommendations of entertaining channels with good content?
Hi all - this may have been asked on this sub already, but if so please just re-direct me to the relevant post!
I recently stumbled upon a channel on YT called "Spain on a Fork", which naturally features recipes from Spain. The guy who runs it is based in Valencia, Spain and his recipes are more plant/seafood-based, but I don't mind at all (actually look forward to that). Similarly, I found a channel starring a sweet Italian grandmother who makes authentic Italian recipes she learned before she moved to the US. Now, I'm looking for similar channels, but from all over the world. I have a strong preference for recipes made by natives in their own countries but the intent is for the recipes to be as authentic as possible (i.e. not Tasty). If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know!
Edit: I'm open to all cuisines but at the moment specifically looking with European. Please share any you can think of though! My YT account can handle the suscriptions
What are your go to YouTube channels or instructional pellets smokers cooking sites?
I'm always looking for new channels to watch. Hit me up with good baking channels if you have that too!
My current favorite ones in no particular order:
Joshua Weissman
Pro Home Cooks
Ethan Chlebowski
Internet Shaquille
I love cooking, and I love watching cooking shows on YouTube. Does anybody know of a good vegan cooking channel?
Iβm a very good cook (technical-wise) and have been cooking for years so I can keep up with more advanced recipes but a lot of vegan alternatives are still foreign to me because I donβt cook vegan food often. Whenever my dish is vegan, itβs usually just accidentally vegan (like a tofu stir fry). I love tofu and Iβve dabbled with TVP and nutritional yeast but thatβs as far as I go with vegan alternatives.
So I need a YouTube channel to watch that is at my level and will introduce me to new vegan ingredients.
Trying to learn how to cook, and would love some suggestions on cooking Chanelβs that are good to watch.
Oh my god, I need the duck to react to this channel. It's called EYE TO EYE and it's Jack and some other religious nut job reacting to the topic of the day, which can include anything from "creationism vs evolution"ism": with our favorite dumbass creationist, Kent Hovind, to "should you get the vaccine?" (which, considering how unhealthily he eats, you would hope he would think so)
Not sure if the question makes sense, but it's more of your first major video that gained traction for your channel. Take care :)
So I really like to cook (F, late 50s, T-2 for 2.5 years, Max weight 310, current weight 250). I was diagnosed about 2.5 years ago. Before everything was work from home I was doing great! Lost so much weight. But now that things are WFH it's falling apart. I can't stop making taco bell runs because I get so frustrated. I never used to keep food in the house and ate out (at the hospital I used to work next to) most meals so portion and healthy options were always available and the food was good. I love cooking good food - but I can't find any youtube food channels about cooking for diabetics. I want a library of recipes. I've bought diabetic cook books and they are junk... it's the same thing over and over. No discussion of spices, or cooking technique. Or "This is the non-diabetic meal, but we are going to make it delicious and diabetic friendly by making these changes"! or how about "Here is a really great mustard based dressing recipe and we use plain vanilla yogurt instead of mayo!". The channels I keep seeing are run by hospitals, or are lectures on healthy eating. I know what to eat, but I can't find a single channel where the chef is a chef first and does recipes that are diabetic appropriate. The closest I can find is Keto but those aren't the same. Does anyone know any channels that are dedicated to cooking and preparing delicious meals that are appropriate for T2'ers?
I like Kenji Lopez Alt and Adam Ragusea for informational, practical instruction, with the ladder being very educational. YouSuckAtCooking is funny, and I also like to watch Beryl Shereshewsky and EmmymadeinJapan for wholesome videos that show me international/ obscure dishes. Any good ones I should look out for?
So, I love cooking and learning new recipes and techniques. But lately, I can't find any channels that aren't full of awful sounds. Not only are cooking shows naturally full of triggering sounds to begin with (eating, clinking metal, liquids pouring, wet sloshy foods being mixed, etc.) but now many youtubers are purposely putting ASMR content into their videos (recording all of the cooking sounds close-up, no music to muffle it, and creepily whispering the directions).
Can anyone please recommend a cooking channel that has low levels of this stuff?
Edit: Wow so many awesome recommendations, thanks everyone! I'm glad this little community exists to help each other.
I obviously love Malaysian food and love watching good channels of new cooking techniques that I'm unfamiliar with. I particularly enjoy the format of IG reels but open for any!
Nothing came up in the search and it doesn't feel like it's against any rules but if a mod would prefer, I'd be happy to request any suggestions be kept to private message so it's not spammy but I promise this white American isn't trying to push a channel or content of my own.

I really loved Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat by Samin Nosrat, I watched the Netflix series and read her book. Iβm looking for anything similar to that where it talks about the basics and gives a little history. I love cooking but have become passionate about learning the roots of it, history of cuisines around the world, and the science behind things within the last couple years. I would like to take classes one day but I have a 9 month old and work 2 jobs so I donβt have the time right now. I really want to read the Food Lab by Kenji but it looks like the audiobook was an $8/month subscription? Not sure if that is just on Amazon but if anyone knows where else I can buy that audiobook please let me know!
