A list of puns related to "Computer Acquire"
I asked how to acquire new computers for my office. Iβm happy to report I didnβt have to knock my computer off the desk or stab the batteries for a replacement.
I just bugged people literally every single day, every time I saw someone that could make it happen. They got annoyed to the point anytime they saw me, before I could say hello they responded we are working on getting them.
Bad news? We are only getting a new computer so hopefully they others last until more come cause Iβm not sharing.
Im not ordering today, Iβm fat.
I'm not very experienced in crypto, I downloaded the Trust Wallet to connect with the Binance Smart Chain network but when I go to apeswap to connect a wallet and tap on any of the 6 wallet options to connect it does nothing.
This question has somewhat been asked here and there on this sub in some shape or form, but I was hoping for some new answers a bit more specific to me. Hope that's okay.
So I am CS Junior, but I've been feeling like I haven't been doing much skill acquisition, like projects or internships. Part of it is due to the fact that I really do not know what subfield or work I should be aiming for, but now is a better time than never to do something. I have noticed that I really enjoy classes that get into how computers really work, without having to work too closely with physical hardware. For example, Computer Architecture and Organisation, Assembly Language, Operating Systems, especially C and Linux shell. Basically, low-level without using a microcontroller.
I do not enjoy programming high-level software that much, like web development or software, though it's something I can deal with if I have to.
So, first question, what jobs should I aim for? I do not know what to look for, for which I can prepare my skillset. I've heard terms like "Jobs in Linux" or "Sysadmin" or "Systems Engineering" but either those terms are vague or I'm not 100% sure it's what I am looking for. I also need to know the terms so that I apply for relevant internships.
Second question, what should I do to get them? I am thinking of either using Arch Linux or LFS to educate myself on how Linux works and understanding how an Operating System really works beyond my exam questions. Will that help me? What else should I do?
It can be the smallest most pitiful looking thing on this planet so long as it has a few usb ports as well as hdmi. I'll just plug in my keyboard and mouse and hook it up to a decent monitor.

Asking, recognizing the object and the phraze pattern, selecting correct answer from previous training session (245 samples only). FolksβTalks is a game where the computer acquires spoken language from a player. Acquisition starts from scratch like a real baby acquires his native language. Here I would like to describe the gameβs preliminary development interface. The interface is made of 5 general sections (pink, green, blue, orange, and lilac), each with a specific purpose. The pink section shows various objects that should be described by a player so that the computer can acquire phrases describing these objects. The first page of the Pink section is for sound input. The next page of this section contains objects for a pointing quiz. The next page contains objects for a spacing quiz. There are additional pages for a society quiz, a time quiz and some more quizzes. The first page that shows objects is for a pointing quiz where the user can point at each of these objects and say phrases that describe these objects. Each of these phrases has a specific pattern. These phrases about these specific objects will be used for training, analysis and recognition using the TensorFlow and Essentia libraries. After the training process, the user can ask questions about these objects and the computer will select the right answer. All languages describe the world using the same three concepts: space, time, and society. So, FolksβTalks game will be suitable for any language. Starting from next month the development progress will be published on Patreon ( https://www.patreon.com/Folks_Talks?fan_landing=true). Patrons can access documented source code, watch videos about game functionalities and the development process, chat with creators, and try to train the virtual agent to acquire their own native language on a pre-alpha version of the game.
It seems like it's available on Amazon re-sellers in CD form only, is that my best option? Will it still work on my brother's computer even though it was originally designed for Windows 9 or whatever year?
I also saw sites like these, but I doubt this would actually let you download and play the game for free, right? I can't test it myself as I have a Mac.
Lastly: My brother loved that risk game but it was also the only one he ever played. If getting the actual game is too convoluted, would you all suggest a different Risk game?
Thank you very much!

Hey there, if you are a regular here then you are probably aware of our subreddit community member known as /u/StingrayZ. He has been a prolific contributor for years now and consistently posts the highest quality replications this subreddit has ever seen. His work has contributed a great deal to the field of formalised subjective effect documentation and is an integral part of the subjective effect index within both PsychonautWiki.org and EffectIndex.com. As the founder of these sites, I can further confirm that replications are an incredibly important and overlooked facet of creating a society in which psychedelic usage is more mainstream and therefore capable of benefiting our society.
Unfortunately, the hardware that StingrayZ has been creating these on is becoming increasingly outdated in a manner which is bottlenecking the progress of his work. As he is not very well off financially and is based in the country of Latvia, I have therefore been trying to help him raise the money he needs to buy a computer that is capable of creating the significantly higher quality replications that this field of subjective effect documentation needs.
I have no idea how successful this will be, but if you can contribute anything at all, then it will be greatly appreciated regardless of the amount. Thank you in advance.
Oh and just incase you haven't seen stingrayZ's content, I will leave a list of links below:

Previously when I installed pihole on my home server, I assigned the DNS server record in my router and whenever any computer in my home network got assigned an IP address, it got the specified DNS address. Now I have changed the router to an openwrt one and when I give it a DNS address, it forwards all the requests to pihole instead of assigning that DNS server address when it leases an IP address. I am confused therefore, as to how does DNS server get assigned to a computer? Is it assigned by the DHCP when leasing out the IP address or is it the default gateway address where I should put the DNS server address?
Can I choose computer science as my major in europe then when I get my master degree, I would just study some subjects to acquire an electronics degree without having to put in 3 or 5 years ?7
Like in my vision, it's like you have already studied tech stuff and u just need some classes to learn electronics, is that possible ?
I feel this is an easy answer and I'm just blanking. I'm thinking of a Libertarian Socialist society. Obviously becoming a socialist country isn't sending you back 500 years so we will still have electronics. So I think of a company like Microsoft or Apple. How would they send phones/computers around the world.
So to be more clear. Lets say the people in my city and I decided to build new computers and a new operating system. We make the best computers around. How would someone 3 states away or a country away know my computers exist and how would they get one? Unless there was a market and money. Are people going to be building their own operating systems and computers in each different city???
I can see how it would be done in Market Socialism but not anything else.
Hi, i'm Computer Science and Pure Math Major Student. I'm in a course called Algorythm and Data Structure 2 from University of Buenos Aires. And part of bibliography and material includes part of the "The Art of Computer Programming" but it's fraction of it. My question is. What kind of skillsets do you "master" once you complete to study the entire collection of this beautiful Book?
I was just wondering how you all acquire most of your collections. I got my start on Craigslist with my IBM 5150 and 5151 monitor (under repair). How did you get your start?
