A list of puns related to "Company 3"

βApple (AAPL) officially has a market capitalization of $3 trillion. The tech giant passed the $182.86 mark Monday, making it the first publicly traded company in history to hit such a market valuation. Shares were bouncing above and below the number during the day.
Appleβs rise to a $3 trillion market cap, which is based on its stock price, comes less than two years after its market cap hit $2 trillion. Microsoft (MSFT) is also potentially on its way to the $3 trillion mark after topping $2 trillion in June.
Appleβs rise to $3 trillion comes on the back of the incredible success of its iPhone line, which has spawned accessories like the Apple Watch and AirPods, not to mention services like AppleCare, the App Store, Apple Music+, and Apple TV+.
Appleβs latest generation of hardware has, however, been struck by the same supply chain issues affecting everything from car manufacturers to home appliance makers. According to Bloomberg, the company previously cut its iPhone production goal by 10 million units in October due to supply constraints.
And Nikkei Asia reports that Appleβs manufacturing partners in China were getting days off when they would normally be working full throttle to ramp up device availability for the holiday season.
Stay ahead of the market But Apple has also shown off some major innovations in 2021 including the launch of its powerful M1 Pro and M1 Max chips for its MacBook Pro laptops. Those chips allow Apple to ditch Intelβs own processors, giving Apple far more control over design and performance.
And then there are reports about Appleβs future devices including the obvious updates to stalwarts like the iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods, as well as entirely new product categories like augmented reality and virtual reality headsets.
Appleβs rise to $3 trillion hasnβt been without controversy, however. The company has repeatedly been called out for its cooperation with the Chinese government including its censorship policies and its need to store user data there. Apple, however, says it βcomplies with the laws pertaining to local entities that control customer data and provides data as legally required.β
Like its Big Tech compatriots, Apple is also contending with antitrust issues. In August 2020, βFortniteβ maker Epic filed suit against Apple claiming it violates antitrust laws by requiring developers to use its in-app payment system, which automatica

Title.. I work 2-3 hours (sometimes a minimum of 1, and sometimes a maximum of 4 but usually 3) at a very big and well known tech company.
The issue is that, I am completing my work, learning a lot and getting good performance reviews (my manager has said he is extremely happy with me multiple times)... BUT I am still feeling very guilty, like I am not a good engineer and I am exploiting them for money... especially since the pay is very good. My boyfriend says that I should just shut up about it and count my blessings, since he's in law he is working 60+ hours a week
My schedule is usually something like:
10:00am - Wake up, and get "ready" for work (I work from home, so I just make myself look somewhat presentable for the daily scrum, do my hair, a little bit of make up, etc)
11:00am - Scrum
11:00am - 2:00pm - Work
2:00pm - 3:00pm - Personal Projects or Leetcode
3:00pm - 1:00am - Chill for the day and do whatever (cook, workout, netflix, game, etc)
1:00am - Bed (yes I work my best when I get 9-10 hours of sleep a day)
Now, sometimes there are meetings.. so I will have to attend them, but all my work is done during that 2-3 hour period after my scrum.
I am just wondering.. is this all in my head? Part of me is really grateful.. I know others don't have it so easy.. especially in non-tech fields. Should I just enjoy the ride? How can I stop feeling so guilty??
I hope this does not come off as a humble brag, as the feeling of guilt is eating away at me through-out the day.. even after I finish work. It is starting to effect me on a personal level. I just feel very bad for doing this?
Although I've always felt proud of what I did, I've never really told anyone about it. Today, I remembered reporting this company to HMRC and that it cost them a pretty penny, but I never before thought to check their financial reports. It reads:
>EVENTS SINCE THE END OF YEAR
>
>Subsequent to the balance sheet date, additional payroll liabilities totalling Β£3,884,081 relating to periods prior to the balance sheet data been (sic) identified. Consequently, these liabilities have been recognised in these financial statements.
>
>...
>
>PRIOR YEAR ADJUSTMENT
>
>The comparative figures for the year ended 31 October 2013 have been restated in order to correct a fundamental error relating to additional payroll liabilities not previously recognised. The effect of this restatement on the results of the prior year is a decrease in profit after tax of Β£1,508,673...
The report goes on to post a loss of Β£1,760,837 for that year, which as far as I can tell is the only year they haven't turned a profit.
I'll try to explain the problem in a simplified way:
The company was hiding a processing fee in our wage slips that was a percentage of our wages, so that it not only meant we weren't being paid the contracted amount, we weren't even receiving minimum wage. The fee wasn't actually mentioned in the wage slips, but it was secretly deducted from our wages during the tax calculations by removing a tax exempt amount prior to taxes, but then adding a smaller amount after taxes, without ever declaring a fee or deduction had been taken. This way, no one except me seems to have noticed.
I feel like I did everything right, even by them, in reporting this. I raised a grievance with them and went to their head office to discuss it in my free time. I brought a union rep with me, but the rep was a certified idiot and basically told me it is perfectly legal to pay less than minimum wage. I requested a replacement, but was told he was more than qualified and I was wrong. I, therefore, cannot recommend against joining GMB strongly enough.
Anyway, so I explained the problem to the company, and they denied there was one. We had a total of three meetings, and they would not budge. So, I reported them to HMRC, who deal with minimum wage violations. I then filed an employment tribunal claim and left the company.
The HMRC investigation did not conclude until after I had settled my claim and quit, but they informed me that the company had indeed

1.) Insurance will ALWAYS try to offer low first, sometimes leaving you with a balance owed on your old vehicle loan or leaving you unable to replace your vehicle with a vehicle of similar value.
2.) They may also try to force you to repair a vehicle which is so damaged that it will be nearly worthless (or dangerous) after the repair.
With the price of used (and new) vehicles skyrocketing, insurance companies are pushing heavily to "repair" vehicles with fire damage, frame damage, firewall damage, etc; due to the high cost of replacing your vehicle often leaving you with something unsafe and also worthless to any potential buyer in the future.
What to do:
Situation 1.) Ask the insurance company to provide you with a list of 3 of the exact same trim of vehicle, in the same condition, with the same mileage for the $ they're giving you. They will be forced to give you a proper amount, in order to replace the vehicle you were paying them to insure.
Situation 2.) Get an independent estimate from a reputable body shop, and if you believe your vehicle is beyond repair and ask the body shop if it were their car, would they repair it? If the answer is "no", then fight your insurance company because you're about to get a raw deal..and possibly end up with a vehicle that's now dangerous and also possibly worthless to any lender or any future buyer (or any future insurance payout..)
Hey all. Welcome to my third part of my DD series on SLABs. Keep in mind all of this coming to light is really new info. So take it with a grain of salt. You can read Part 1 here (https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/ros6ii/student_loan_asset_backed_securities_slabs_the/) and Part 2 here (https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/rp585d/the_slabs_rabbit_hole_part_2_conflicts_of/). Part 4 HERE (https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/rpu2eq/the_slabs_rabbit_hole_part_4_return_of_the_slab/) and Part 5 HERE (https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/rq6vmi/down_the_slabbit_hole_part_5_the_federal_reserve/). You can read my DD about Auto Loan Asset Backed Securities (ALABS) here (https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/rqle93/the_big_short_again_auto_loans_bubble_edition/).
I don't really have any corrections I'd like to make regarding my Part 2 DD. If this changes, I will edit this post. Let's go!
First up: Refinancing. Like I mentioned before, only FFLEP loans (pre-2010) and private student loans can be packaged into SLABs. However, there's a major, major catch. If you refinance a modern Department of Education loan, that loan becomes private. In other words, you can't refinance federal loans to get a lower interest rate. And since private student loans can be packaged into SLABs, there is a HUGE incentive for private companies to get people to refinance their DoE loans.
Well, how would private companies encourage people to refinance? It's simple: providing lower interest rates than the federal government.

This graph demonstrates just that (unfortunately, it's 2019 only - I couldn't find any long term comparisons. Please link if you can find additional charts). You can see that the weighted average interest rate for private loans came in below federal. This would encourage people to possibly refinance, which would allow private loaners to package these loans into SLABs. The 114th Congress (year 2015-2016) actually attempted to pass a law that would establish a federal refinancing program. This law did not pass (I wonder why?).
Now, to my second topic. The repeating of history, and the

So kagabi kausap ko mga Titos/Titas ko and ilang pinsan. Kwentuhan lang about our lives then it was my turn, nong nalaman ng tito kong engineer na naka 3 companies na ako at my age (25), he criticized me. Tapos sumawsaw pa yung mga tita ko, saying na wala raw akong loyalty sa company and baka affected yung future endeavors ko due to my employment history π€‘.
I tried to explain to them what happened, reasons such as career growth and unhealthy schedules. Anong sabi nila? "Dapat thankful ka at may trabaho ka, noong panahon namin.. <insert classic shits>" I was speechless to say the least. Hindi talaga ako nanalo sa kanila. So here's my emp history for your reference:
> 1st company: 2.5 years as tech support. 1.6 years as QA analyst.
> 2nd company: 7 months QA analyst. No growth. Unhealthy sched.
> 3rd & current company: Devops engr. Planning to stay here for at least 2 to 3 years then move elsewhere for better compensation.
Loyalty? Hindi ako loyal. What matters to me ay yung salary, work environment and career growth. Isa jan yung medyo alanganin, thank u next na.
I mean oo gets ko if you chose to stay ng matagal sa isang company..but being "LOYAL"? πππ
Your hiring process is terrible and you absolutely have a terrible policy.
Job hunting is already a crappy, long and unrewarding activity, and at the very least feedback would be helpful to help candidates improve their chances in their job hunt for the next role they apply to.
It's not only the 3 hour test that's stressful, but even before doing the test we have to review and refresh our knowledge because we've all been pigeonholed one way or another at our respective firms. It's a 3 hour test for you, but it's days/weeks of studying, interviewing, holding current job, juggling with shit on our end. And we're trying to re-learn so many things that you claim is "normal day to day operation" at your firm for data scientists.
And quite frankly, I call that bs that your day to day ops includes advanced statistics or measuring bayesian probability by hand. Just like how my firm claims the role for our job requires coding in Python and statistics, only to realize that daily tasks are to run reports from Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics.
Like come on...

And the Outer Wilds, just like Hitman 3, was a flatscreen game first. I would have thought it's cheaper for a company like IO to outsource the adaptation to one skilled and experienced modder than to get their in-house team (who could be working on their next game or DLC or whatever) to work on a VR mode when they presumably have no experience in VR and are not familiar with the latest VR developments or mechanics.

Long story short--I work at a company for three years, inherit all sorts of work, company fails to hear my concerns and I simply just find a new job and walk. Karma ensues.
3 years ago, I started on a team of one person (just me) in my department. I was responsible for:
The work was rough, I had to be a jack of all trades immediately from the get-go, which I was already used to from my previous job. The guy who trained me was technically my teammate but he wasn't shy when it comes to declining work. He talks fast, gets extremely toxic about interrupting people. He loved to tell everyone that he's too busy and important to do the things he's paid to do.
We'll call him 'douchebag'.
Shortly after I was hired, douchebag somehow got his job title changed so he could avoid doing my job. Literally everybody in the company thinks douchebag is a douchebag--well, except for anyone above him. He kisses their butts, and even polishes them afterwards.
This guy is a literal caricature of a badly written TV/movie villain. He has no shame, berates people, has anger problems, throws people under the bus every chance he gets. The true definition of a toxic co worker.
Like Gollum, he's completely transparent, and pathetic.
Douchebag went through 3-4 promotions in the 3 years I worked there. This toxic approach to enriching your career is a good technique for him, but that isn't my style. I'm not a complete sociopath. I hear other departments in the company tend to favor sociopathic tendencies when promoting employees.
Anyways, the job was decent experience, nothing groundbreaking from my previous job. But it was a job.
Every year that passed, I would inherit a new process, system, procedure that was handed down to me. My workload would essentially increase exponentially about 30% every year that passed.
My work isn't getting done in a timely manner so the company decides to HIRE A MANAGER for me to keep ME focused. Not another teammate--a goddamn manager was their solution. Someone who gets paid more than me to help ME get my 'motivation' in order.
He was a cool dude but he litera
