Iβm a Spanish major at a university in the U.S. Tomorrow is the last day of the semester and I am burnt out af. I have 2 essays due (one of which was only assigned yesterday (1000 words about the structure and theme of a poem by Luis Cernuda)) an oral final, and an oral presentation of my other paper. I work full time and have a full school schedule and a family.
I just wanted to take a short break to let everyone know that the only thing thatβs getting me through tonight is Chunky Shrapnel. I usually opt for instrumental music as I find lyrics distracting while writing, especially in a foreign language. But idk what it is about this album thatβs just pushing me through. I think itβs the first time Iβm actually listening to it consistently and Iβm just in love.

I love the live version so much and it's miles better than the studio version.
So while looking for one of the Special Features of Chunky Shrapnel to show off to a friend. After a lot of looking, I couldn't find it and had to send a different clip.
I decided to look at the King Gizz YouTube channel to find all of the Chunky Shrapnel Special Features were gone from the channel. PHC Films removed the film test for Chunky from their channel, and the trailer from the Flightless Records channel was removed.
As it stands, the only existing footage of Chunky Shrapnel only exists from 3rd party uploads and their Facebook group (although I could only find one and I doubt it'll stay up long).
Anyone have any ideas as to why the videos were taken down?
It was the first new release after i became a fan, so I never got too much into cause I didnβt know the songs yet and didnβt care to check them out live. Now getting back into it, we got it good!
Horology trilogy LIVE is enough to make this a badass album, but also ABHOPE taking up a large chunk is awesome to see.
Plus as an avid wah wah enjoyer itβs feature in the river went very very appreciated by me. (Wah wah>rest of nonagon, I will never back down)
Finally, let me mend the past is such a lovely song but the studio version never did it for me, this version though really makes it so much better. They Just nailed it with this one, Iβll take it over SF16 any day
I was reviewing the album covers for all the Gizzard albums when I realized that the serpent hydra thing on the cover of Chunky Shrapnel would make a great physical statue. Does anyone know if there is a 3D model of it available somewhere that I could print?

Okay, so the butterfly 3000 snippet from the livestream concert last night sounded like anamnesis. Read and thought about how butterfly 3000 could be similar to chunky shrapnel where it has modular synth intros and songs made from the modular synth melodies. That or it is just gonna be very psychedelic and happy idk just a thought.

Recent IG post showed stu with PHC and a butterfly hat. What if PHC comes out with another gizz movie like chunky where it is B3K live with the modular synth stuff they had like in Chunky? The BK3 music sounds similar based on the teaser and there were the IG story posts from the sound guy with PHC recording a concert like pleura and live concert. Idk another post just saw the connection.
