A list of puns related to "Chu (state)"
In order to get their visas, they needed to change their names to something more American. Chu became Chuck, Bu became Buck and Fu decided to travel back to China.
We all are clear of the rules and so is the retiree. He seems gracious but poignant about the situation after 10 years. Not everything needs to be rule by the head.....maybe 99% ya. Why dont we have a heart at some rare occasions ...? Perhaps SLA "did not mind" but after you report it, it became untenable and the rules kick in. Really wet blanket lor.

Reject state-sanctioned discrimination, reject Proposition 16: Betty Chu
I am one of the first women of Chinese descent to pass the California bar exam. I was mayor of Monterey Park. I was the first Chinese-American woman to co-found and run a bank in the United States.
In my lifetime, I have seen Asian Americans prevail against racism to be treated as fully American, as equal citizens, employees and leaders. This has occurred in large part because racism itself has become unacceptable in America. What a triumph!
It pains me greatly, then, that after all this progress there is a new threat to equality โ it is on the California ballot in November in the form of Proposition 16.
Prop. 16 โ intended as a direct reversal of the 1996 Proposition 209 โ would allow the state to grant preferences to individuals in public education, public employment and public contracting explicitly based on race.
That is systemic racism in the most direct sense.
I have seen and overcome racism for more than 60 years. I do not want it re-imposed on me, or any Californian, by our government.
As Americans, we must speak out against racism in all its forms. Allowing the government to discriminate on the basis of race through the preferential treatment that would be allowed through Prop. 16 would be inherently harmful to our great state, and to the country.
Ironically, despite the misinformation campaign by its opponents, Prop. 209 has actually led to drastic improvements in enrollment and academic achievement for racial minorities in higher education in California. Which makes this yearโs Prop. 16 campaign all the more nefarious.
I am especially appalled by how the โYes on 16โ side has attacked my fellow Asian Americans.
According to Politico, in 2014, when first-generation Asian-American activists defeated a proposal in the state Legislature โ a precursor to Prop. 16 โ to overturn the ban on racial preferences in public university admissions, Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia, D-Bell Gardens, reportedly said: โThis makes me want to punch the next Asian person I see in the face.โ
This type of language has no place in the 21st century. I was proud to have fought alongside Asian-American activists to defeat the return of racial preferences in 2014. Ironically,

Iโm just really curious about him. The strongest general from the biggest state in china. I expect him to be another renpa (old man with monster strength and very clever)
So why do you think during the Coalition Invasion Arc why didn't Chu send more generals?
So in the manga i believe it was stated by the king of Chu (forgot his name) that he was picky when he chose the general, i think it was a couple chapters after Kan Mei death. Anyways wouldn't it be better for Chu if they sent more men in general, if I'm not mistaken Ri Boku arranged the conquered land would've been split into proportion of how many men they brought into the coalition army. At the time of the Coalition Invasion Arc Chu had 4 GG as far as we know of in their state (they could have GG 4 & 5 in their state) so sending them all would've ensured coalition victory and more land would of been given to Chu.
Assuming if they were to successfully conquering Qin Chu would've been given the most land and as a result no other state would have enough supplies, man power and equipment (mainly iron weapons & armor) to stop Chu from unifying China. Not to mention if Kou En would've been their chances are that Kan Mei wouldn't have died (i mean Kan Mei was Kou En's deputy general so odds are he would listen to Kou En's instructions/orders).
Comment whether you think it would've been a good idea for Chu to send more men and GG to Coalition Invasion.
You know how these two characters have really close connection to strength path right? I donโt think Hei Lou Lanโs fortune to cultivate her totems are not already arranged by Reckless Savage, he might even hide this from Giant Sun. Similar to her, Chu Du seems like he will make it big someday with his attainment and talent in strength path. We have seen Chu Du actually protected Hei Lou Lan before, could it be that Hei Lou Lan might rise to a strength path Venerable and Chu Du would be her guardian?
She got up, unplugged my laptop and threw out my beerโฆ.
EDIT: Thanks for the kind awards... My first ever! โค๏ธ
