A list of puns related to "Chronicle of the Years of Fire"
I didn't root so much for a character since The Name of the Wind's protagonist. I literally devoured the whole 7 currently available books in a week. Yeah, each book is shorter than what I'm used to, but even so, it was a frantic pace considering my limited time. And now I find out the author will finish another series before picking up Cradle again. I can't estimate when, but if Patrick Rothfuss and George Martin taught me something is to not expect the next book anytime soon.
What a bummer, now my soul is void again. I will now keep wondering about Lindon and Eithan as much as I wonder about Kvothe and Jon Snow.
I first read the series in middle school, and I absolutely loved them. After two years of not being able to finish a book, I picked up the novels as a last hope to get back into reading. At first I was nervous that the books wouldn't hold up to my childhood memories, but boy was I wrong. To be fair, it did take me about three months to get through the first two books, but I enjoyed every opportunity I got to disconnect from our world and travel to the magical world of Prydain. A month after that, I have finished both "The Castle of Llyr" and "Taran Wanderer", with just "The High King" left to go.
After finishing "Taran Wanderer" I just wanted to say how well written these books are, and how well they held up to what I remembered them as when I was a kid. While it is a high fantasy, many of the characters felt grounded, especially in "Taran Wanderer". Taran is a well written character, given that the intended audience were boys coming of age like the protagonist. The themes are mature enough so as to be enjoyed by more than just young boys coming of age. Though I understand why Lloyd Alexander didn't include Eilonwy in "Taran Wanderer", I wish there were more female characters in general.
I think "The Chronicles of Prydain" was the perfect series to get back into reading, and I've been building on my reading schedule so that it never feels like a chore. Though they are children's books, they are also very enjoyable for adults with a set of both fantastical and realistic characters.
Soon I will begin reading "The High King" , but with it comes the dread of having nothing to read after I finish, so jumping in into a new world would be ideal. I'm open to suggestions, but keep in mind that I haven't been an avid reader until these past few months.
FEBRUARY 19 2020 Unorganized Memory Dump to Begin Organization Process. Once I get the chronology right, and fill in all the absolute batshit CRAZY things I've been through.. I'd like to put it into a book or something. Nobody will believe it. Maybe you can get someone to believe one of the stories on its own, or a few. To ask a rational minded and levelheaded human being to accept that these things have all happened, and that yours truly bore witness to all of it, that is asking alot of anybody. I don't know what will come of this effort to compile my life " 'til now," but I feel strongly compelled to do so, and I feel it will not be a waste of a single keystroke.
I am turning 36 this July. I am what people have typically called an "Aspie." Autism Spectrum Disorder allows me to participate in the game of life, but never truly belong. It is as though I was picked for pickup basketball but only because the coach MADE the kids pick me. Even those playing on my team bear a secret resentment toward me. Playing my heart out; Still not welcome and managing to make things weird for everybody. Also I fucking suck at basketball. I ALSO fucking suck at life.
"Cant win 'em all," my Dad used to tell me. He was great- and though I was only 11 when he passed, I remember an omsane amount of wisdom that he passed on to me, almost as if he knew He'd miss out on the last 7 years of my childhood. Too bad he didnt also have the foresight to know that me being an aspie, these absolute pearls of wisdom were purely academic to me. I understood them and would never dare forget them, but to actually use shit in real world applications?
Did you not read the basketball analogy?
Okay. Here goes nothing. Nobody is to read this unless they desire to do so. I'm not yet sure why I'm doing this yet so dont set yourself up some expectations.
People call me "Top," but my name is Chris. I live in San Antonio TX and I have my entire life.
I am a slave to no Drug. I loved Heroin for 14 years but finally learned that Heroin was not capable of loving me back. She is, by nature, a vampiric partner, and the bill always comes due. She will be paid, all other concerns be damned.
1995/2006- My father first, then my mother, leave me alone in this world with my dickheaded and greed-driven asshole elder brother. This prick picked on me my entire childhood. Mom passing in 2006 leaves him as my only known blood relation on the planet.
I first tried heroin while she yet l

So when I get home from work, the first thing I'll be doing is downloading that and falling in love with the game all over again. I get that nobody cares but I'm excited and just had to say it!
Iβm a little salty over our middle child X getting the shaft again, but the first Xenoblade honestly deserves a remake on the Switch. I just hope we get something on Xenoblade X. Hell, can Takahashi say that X is canceled so my heart doesnβt have to be hurt by the lack of info?
Is our trash layered in a way that you can technically recover random things from each historical decade?
Could we dig all the way down a landfill & find 1800s medical tools, random products from the 1930s further up and further up find a 2004 American Idol CD?
Some of you might be too young to remember the heady days of mid-2012. A time where Homestuck still updated pretty much every day. The fandom had rode strong and true through the EOA5 hiatus and crashed through to the unexplored pastures of Act 6 with nary a whinny of hesitation. And after the coolness that was [S] Caliborn: Enter, Hussie returned from a hiatus with a troll ancestor walkaround to open A6I3... and an extra project: the 'Homestuck Adventure Game', and its corresponding Kickstarter.
>-Homestuck Adventure Game Kickstarter campaign (Sep. 4 2012)
As we now know, the Kickstarter was a big hit, and reached its funding goal 32 hours after its launch, on September 5, 2012, at roughly 10:30 pm. Five years ago, to this day. The campaign went on to end with $2.5 mil on October 4, however no one expected to see much more on the game until Homestuck ended. Eventually, Hussie paused for two months before A6A6 started (on 4/13/13) to work on the game, and intended to finish Homestuck in the upcoming months after the pause.
>-MSPA news update (Apr. 13 2013)
Then a bunch of A6A6 happened. The dreaded, terrible, Gigapause began. Hussie planned to continue making Homestuck, but handling the final section of the story in one big chunk, instead of regularly updating. And also work on the game. He didn't even give a time estimate on the Gigapause's length, probably to avoid tying himself to any expectations.
>I also have to allocate some time to work on the Kickstarter game . . . I'll probably have a more substantive update on that before the en
