Chocolate City, Liberia Puns

I KNOW it’s not “real” chocolate but it’s my favourite and I stand behind my trash chocolate taste.

So far I’ve tried:

• 7-Eleven - these things are greasy and come from a frozen tub but are delicious, 6 of them for $2.99 is a solid deal but I don’t respect myself enough to not finish them all in one sitting and have a sugar vegetable oil stomach ache
• Subway - why does everything at subway resemble the thing but taste nothing like it. Also always either burnt or underdone
• Longos - these came in a container and were lifeless and overly crunchy. They resembled a sweet crouton if those existed
• Craig’s Cookies White Choc Gingerbread - I watched a YouTube video on how every Craig’s cookie is just a basic chocolate chip with a chunk of X folded into the ball. This resembled that. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. It was not worth the almost $4 I paid for a single cookie

Any tips or leads?! I’ve eyed up Farm Boy’s but haven’t tried.

To battle this absolute whiteness - I need a hot chocolate after work. I'm off work soon, but don't know where I can actually get a supreme hot chocolatto.

So - where's the best, over the top, ridiculous hot chocolate with whip cream and everything else that I can buy?

I'm willing to make my own if someone has a great recipe on hand too though.

Looking for the best chocolate cake in the city. It will be for my neighbour’s birthday, therefore no slices. We don’t like it to be super sweet, and usually go for dark chocolate flavor as opposed to milder and sweeter versions. What was your best experience?

It could be packaged from a bakery and not a national brand like Sam's, but the point is that you didn't buy it from a bake shop or restaurant.

I find most of the single-serving cakes you get in candy stores and bodegas to be waxy and not very good.

Okay, I have a very important question that I would love Reddit’s help on. We live in an area that gets lots of kids on Halloween (people DRIVE here from neighbouring areas). We got just under 400 kids last year (prepared for 200) and handed out goody bags of smaller chocolate bars. Now that we know how many kids we really get, we’d like to give out full chocolate bars. When I was a kid, these houses were the best to continue to create magic for some kids in what seems to be a pretty crappy year/years to be a kid.

Where can I buy full sized chocolate bars at a decent price? I’m not prepared to spend $500 on Candy, but could be prepared to spend $200-300. I’ve heard Costco is cheap, but we aren’t members. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
