This game is set in Blizzardβs StarCraft universe at the beginning of Starcraft II and played using the Genesys Roleplaying System. The PCs are investigators within the chronically underfunded, under-equipped, understaffed, and possibly underhanded FRAWD, the Dominion's Fraud, Retaliation, Abuse, and Waste Division. Join Lex, playing resocialized soldier Lilly Washington; Jenn, playing latent psionic Imogen Owendoher from the Umojan protectorate; and Dan, our game master. Explore the lore of the StarCraft universe alongside players new to it themselves, under the guidance of a GM who has played the video games.
We release a new episode at the start of each week, and the audio is accompanied by a serialized write-up of the adventure on our website. The podcasts generally clock in around 30-90 minutes.

... keep reading on reddit β‘I recently started playing heroes of the storm and i just noticed how badass starcraft characters are, i mean, cool looking aliens with lightsabers. Artanis (my favorite) is this huge templar that is a lord? (not sure about the lore) and zeratul is this stealth assassin, tychus is this guy with a huge fcking gun.... Gotta admit it, they are cool. Its a shame i dont like the genre really.
Now I don't mean add Protoss to RWBY, as that'd just be jumping the shark, but imagine someone with his personality, powers, etc. Oh, and have him voiced by John De Lancie; you gotta have that smug asshole voice.
I'll have my own thoughts on how I'd make an Alarak expy below, but I'd also love to hear your own thoughts.
Jim Raynor
STR: 12 DEX: 14 CON: 12 INT: 11 WIS: 16 CHA: 16
Jim is the definition of MAD (multi ability dependent) character, he's demonstrated being lackluster in no one area, but not super in anyone area either, save have a strong will and charismatic charm about him. He has a way with words and when those fail uses action to sway people to his cause, fighting for what's right even when that's the last thing they'd want to do.
Tychus Findlay
STR: 18 DEX: 14 CON: 16 INT: 9 WIS: 11 CHA: 7
Tychus is a brute, heavy handed in everything he does, he excels in breaking things and people, and while he likes to think he's extremely charismatic, he's not. He's a bit rash and a little dumb but not the stereotypical brick for brains tough guy a lot of people might think he is.
Sarah Kerrigan (Terran Ghost)
STR: 12 DEX: 17 CON: 12 INT: 19 WIS: 16 CHA: 14
Sarah's impressive statline should be a surprise to no one, even as a terran ghost she was already one of the most, if not the most powerful psychic human in the sector, or maybe even the universe.
Kerrigan (Queen of the Blades)
STR: 20 DEX: 16 CON: 18 INT: 29 WIS: 19 CHA: 34
As the Queen of Blades Kerrigan gained a powerful force of personality, and an expanded intellect as the Overmind unleashed her dormant potential. Her ability scores increased further when she learned how to undo the terran conditioning done to her mind. Being zerg her constitution became high due to natural armor and the ability to regenerate from the brink of death.
Sarah Kerrigan (De-infested)
STR: 13 DEX: 16 CON: 17 INT: 17 WIS: 16 CHA: 21
Once purified by the Xel'naga Keystone, Kerrigan lost much of her power as she was returned to a mostly human form. Still not all was reverted, she maintained higher constitution and enhanced healing of the zerg, lessened but not removed. Her ability to control zerg diminished but did not fade completely. All other stats remain close to her state per infestation.
Kerrigan (Primal Queen of Blades)
STR: 22 DEX: 20 CON: 28 INT: 30+ WIS: 19 CHA: 40
The zenith of Kerrigans abilities came on Zerus when she transformed into the Primal Queen of Blades, rid of Amon's linger corruption and empowered by the font the created the first zerg her abilities dwarf almost all other beings in the galaxy, able to leap great distances, strike deadly blows against armored vehicles and siege walkers, powerful psionic abilities none could match and a healing fact so strong only a fe

Enjoy the games!
Will likely be the most upvoted one. I'll decide 12 hours from this post (8:45 am central).
Basically I had gifted the game to a now ex-girlfriend and she never claimed it, and since I already have it, the game is up for grabs. Happy writing! <3
I'll message you with steam info and all that when the time is right.
I do reserve the right to say that there were not enough submissions, in case that is the case.
EDIT: Extending deadline to 3 hours from now. Also, I'd prefer to give it to someone that doesn't own the game yet, but I ultimately don't care.
EDIT #2: congrats to /u/runefar!
Until 2017 David Kim was the lead balance designer for Starcraft II, in which he left the Starcraft team for an unannounced Blizzard project, when he announced:
>Hello everyone,
>
>Design and balance on StarCraft II has been a combined effort among everyone on the design team and our community for quite a while now. We believe that the ongoing communication and collaboration between the design team, pro players, and community will keep SC2 the best itβs ever been as a competitive game.
>
>Iβve reached a point in my career where Iβve decided to branch out to a different project, to explore, learn, and grow as a game designer. This other project will be right here at Blizzard, so I hope working on this next game will be as awesome as my experience working on SC2 and with the community. The rest of the SC2 balance team will continue to make updates, and communication with the community will not be interrupted.
>
>I want to say thank you to everyone that loves StarCraft. Iβve spent much of my life dedicated to StarCraft like many of you have, and I feel especially connected to our SC2 community as weβve grown together while making StarCraft II the best and most skill-based esport in the world. It has been such an incredible honor working with you and I will miss seeing how the pure passion flows out of so many people in constructive ways, and having design discussions as a game developer with such a dedicated, intelligent community of gamers was so extraordinary. I will always be grateful for this amazing experience that most game designers around the world just donβt get to experience at such a deep level.
>
>Thank you so much everyone and I will continue playing and watching StarCraft II as a fan of the game!
David Kim endured so much hate from the community, until he and his team really listened to and communicated with the community, which made him one of the most beloved members of the Starcraft scene. Towards the end of Heart of the Swarm and beginning of Legacy of the Void, he and his team began updating the community regularly on their thoughts regarding current tournament results, current ideas about balance, current community feedback on the forums and reddit. You felt that they listen and care. I personally felt super sad when he announced his departure. He still pops up in the Starcraft subreddit. Check the guy's history:
He just

Disclaimer :
This thread Is not an advertisement for maphack. This was only made In order to gather as much informations as possible about the current state of this type of hack in Starcraft 2 so people can be more aware of this problem. Most of people think maphack is dead/only present at high level or is just a Β« reveal the map Β» hack, but itβs much more complicated than that. I hope It will help to rise awarness about this, and make blizzard do something about it. Iβm keeping an eye on hack communities of my differents games for years, and i recently wanted to see what changed about the MH part in SC2 since the last time i checked (2016). It took me 2 month to have all the informations I wanted, and here is the result :)
Also, no name/direct access to the hack will be revealed in public, for 2 mains reasons :
- 99% chances they are not using their real name/game tag, so itβs useless I think.- It could help some people to find them and then buy the hack.
Blizzard probably already know about this (specially the last one i will talk about), but If you can prove me in PM that you are from blizzard staff Iβll of course share you the uncensored pictures + other screens that I canβt post here.
Also, english is not my native language, so there will be mistakes in the thread and the video, feel free to correct me :)

Iβll talk about 2 differents hack I found, one seems to be the most popular/powerful hack tool for a long time, the other one have less feature but still work great.Iβm also pretty sure there is a third one, but i couldnβt find after a month of research.
1) Generalities
To begin with, MH is not that simple to find.
I remember in 2014/2015, it was pretty easy to find one by just googling Β« SC2 maphack Β».Some of them were free to use, best ones (better UI + other features) were pretty expensives like ValiantChaosβs maphack (one of the most famous at the time).
Then around 2015/2016 (canβt remember exactly), a big update of Warden, the Blizzard anti cheat system, stopped most of them. It was impossible to find one for free, and it was very rare to play against it on the ladder. Since this update, if you really want one you now require to pay a monthly fee to the hacker in order to use his sofware and have the new versions each time an official pat

There was once a time, around the late 90s to the early 2000s, when the RTS genre reigned supreme: You had games like Warcraft, Starcraft, Total Annihilation, Age of Empires, and Command and Conquer, which were all the rage.
But starting maybe around 15 years ago, the popularity of the genre has steadily declined. There wasn't even a plateau. It's like RTS peaked with Warcraft 3 and then it free-falled. Nowadays, there's amost no other games of this kind coming out. The last notable title was Starcraft 2 and its expansions. Before that, maybe Company of Heroes. But aside from those, I can't think of anything else.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the grand strategy games such as Europa Universalis and turn-based tactics of Total War are not quite the same.
What happened? Why is the RTS genre as we knew it a couple of decades ago pretty much dead these days? Are there any hidden gems that are worth exploring out there?
I have not played RTS games much in quite a while. The 3 I mentioned in the title are the ones I played the most, but I also really liked games like Stronghold and Empire Earth.
I had my eyes on Frostpunk for quite a while and finally dove into it last night. I quickly realized the game was not right for me. I don't like the survival aspects of it and I'd rather focus on building units and defending my base or going out to take on an enemy base.
Is there a more specific way to search for these types of games other than RTS games? I've seen games like Frostpunk referred to base-building RTS games or survival RTS games. It seems like my preferences lead me away from those, but I'm not sure what to call the games that I like. The
