A list of puns related to "Chaos Theory (film)"
i've seen community a hundred times probably.
my least fav episodes are the timeline episode and paintball episodes.
and my favorite is regional holiday music lol what does that even say about me
The episode definitely gives me strong deja vu to tropes I've seen before-- the looping back in time, the characters start to act bizarrely out-of-character, situations become more absurd and dark, pacing becomes faster, the omnipresence of the song Roxanne. But I'm blanking on specific TV/films. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions?
Since we've all had time to play JWE2 I want to hear opinions on Chaos Theory Mode. Mine? It's not fun for the most part, whenever you need to hit xax amount of stars or X money per minute it just becomes a chore.
Someone's probably done this before, but here's my crackpot theory anyway. (N.B. I don't think GW planned this from the beginning or anything, it's just fun to think about.)
I tried finding it online but I might not googling correctly... and if this has been answered sorry for reposting and please point me in the right direction!
Does anyone know if for the episode they re-filmed each scene from the very beginning? Or, did they reuse the initial scene where Jeff throws the die up and then the new filming begins for each timeline after that?
Like why are the first few games political thrillers and then it turns to generic action movie plotlines after CT?
They were getting the best praise of their career at that time (Splinter Cell wise) so I don't think it was them attempting to save the franchise by making it more accessible
It was so boring, I get there is only so much you can do with a park builder. But it seemed like JP3 was boring. In the JP3 one you just captured dinosaurs, made sure they had comfort and then send them off. I feel like it could have been better, like making an actual park, but maybe you can only do expeditions to the island or are limited to the dinosaurs that randomly appear in the wild area. We don't even get to play with the Spinosaurus. And pteranadons are a big part of movie. I was really disappointed, JP3 is my favorite film.
My friends and I played a bunch of Chaos Theory back in the day (actually doing a LAN party next weekend), and from time to time we would use the other weapons. I actually used the SMG quite a bit early on, and one of my friends is constantly pulling out a shotgun during a match as a surprise. Anyone else stray from the assault rifle?
Phew! Peak Splinter Cell gameplay! I loved how much of a gameplay upgrade it was, from Pandora Tomorrow.
The sound meter helps a lot in determining how stealthy the player is. The threshold updating in real time is cool too.
There's one amazing detail. Whenever Sam shoots out the all the lights in a room, he whispers "Darkness". Also "oops" and "What the...?" whenever setting off an alarm. It adds much to the awareness of a situation.
Non-lethal is viable, as enemies can be knocked out in a single hit, regardless of direction of approach. Though I couldn't ghost much, due to accidentally running into guards around corners.
Interrogations are funny, while also yielding additional information that is relevant. Though I wish they had subtitles, as ambient sound makes it hard to clearly hear the exchange at times.
Level design is cool, as a map is not needed for navigation. Though I did find myself being lost at times. Love the multiple pathways too.
Secondary objectives are organic, and hacking is upgraded as well. Though the numbers appearing are way too random, and sometimes its easy to accidentally screw oneself while trying to lock them.
The downsides are the difficulty spike in Bathhouse, with the bomb defusing section having Night Vision soldiers. I had to use wall mines and smoke grenades to clear that section. Also much of the game is in harsh shadows, forcing me to stay in Night Vision mode most of the time. Also the ending level gameplay could have been a bit more... expanded instead of being railroaded.
Overall, this game IS the representative version of Splinter Cell. A modernization of this game would work wonders.
Moving on to Double Agent v1 on PC. Hopefully I manage to enjoy it now, despite not liking it earlier a decade or 2 ago.
EASILY JP3's chaos theory mode was my most anticipated scenario - But I genuinely cannot believe how little effort they put into it.
There was so much opportunity for an incredible scenario here where you could try and contain the raptors/spino. Rebuild the abandoned facilities and find out the mysteries about what was happening on Isla Sorna.
Instead you repeat the same 3 tasks and witness the Spino getting taken down by 4 raptors, remove its body, do another task and call it a day. How could they think anyone would find this enjoyable?
Not to mention how dirty they did the Spinosaurus in its OWN movie's scenario. I understand the raptors killing it is due to that being the original ending to the movie, but it was supposed to be a pack of 20+, not four. I know it's abundantly clear that Frontier aren't the biggest fans of the Spinosaurus but I think (Since it's the star of the movie!) it deserved a little more respect than this.
Sorry if this seems like an unnecessary rant but there's just so much I've found myself disappointed with in this game that this kind of pushed me over the edge.
I know Chaos Theory is basically the best in just about everything but I think we should all really appreciate the soundtrack of other games in the series. Amon Tobin really helped perfect the atmosphere we were given in CT but I also believe the other games(except Blacklist) had fantastic soundtracks. I personally really like the Conviction soundtrack a lot even though it is arguably the worst game in the series. What soundtrack was your favorite(besides CT)?
Dude how the f do you get 100% on bathhouse?? I tried so many times and the ending always gets me. Freaking thermal guys
I need help.
I am in an abusive relationship with this level. It's been 6 hours, which is apparently like 150 Dino years since I've now had two T Rex's die of old age and my mososaraus is 1 year away from expected death.
Also can I just say, storms can politely screw themselves.
Spent a good 3 hours last night trying to get the funds to incubate my Indominusrex, 3 storms and about 8 (not even joking) medical surgeries on my raptors and nasutoceratops who just loooved to test dominance. Then my T Rex died, so I quickly went bankrupt and had to fire all my scientists and shut down a lot of amenities. Now I've very slowly making money (back up to maybe $500,000), however now my mososaraus is 99 years old.
I don't have any money to replace him, or just about any dinosaur now. Thinking of selling my mosasaurus now, selling all my lagoon and attractions on that side of the map so I can release this Indominus Rex and get on with life.
I played all 5 maps and had no significant problems, had no problem with storms and dinosaur injuries, and you can get rich very quickly, all that before the new balance patch. I really dont get how people can have so much trouble with it?
If so, what level is your favourite?
I have seen many people complain about the management of the game and that they want everything unlocked, man you buy Jurassic world evolution 2 because it is a management game, that's what the game is about
Besides that it is not so difficult, the mechanics are similar to the first game, just see what is missing and now
So here's the issue. I'm doing really well, and everything is good and have even learned how to recover from Tornadoes. I get to the point where I'm supposed to build the Lagoon and never get past it. Everytime, my original Dinosaurs start to die and my funds plummet to the point of no return. I've got all my amenities, shelters, hotels and bathroom rating at 90% or higher, my accommodation rating is 100 and I have 13 different species...well until the original ones start to die. Also I eliminate all backup generators but one as I realized quite fast that they are money pits. I've tried everything. I've tried getting all the species DNA so I can replace them when they die but I can never get but a few and rarely have the funds to even do so. By the time I get to that point, all the originals including T-Rex start dropping like flies and there's no choice but to restart. I really just want to get this Chaos Theory over. I had issues with the JP Chaos Theory too but eventually overcame it. JW one is 100x harder to the point it's not even fun anymore. I've completed all Chaos theories besides this one and Fallen Kingdom. I've even looked up tips online yet I just can't ever find a solution to the dead dinosaur issue. Any help or pointers would be appreciated.
